Nilan never imagined, that he would buy a pregnancy tool at the age of 20 years. In fact, he did not expect to lose his virginity. This scene, he hoped, should happen years from now if you already have a stable career as an architect, or happily married. However, fate has a bad sense of humor, according to him, sometimes things do not go according to what is planned.
"What are we going to do?" ask Nilan.
"Nilane!" Hasmi replied, then sighed, "one more question, I swear it will ..."
He's running out of patience. They had been in the mall for about 30 minutes; still had not entered the pharmacy, but had only stayed outside.
"Look, Nilan. Stop stalling, okay? We need to know as soon as possible."
"Gue's scared, Has."
"Sooner or later, you'll know. Whatever the outcome, I will always be by your side."
Nilan shifted; took a deep breath. To him, Hasmi was right. No matter how many delays, in the end, they will still know. So, Nilan also thought that it was better to know as early as possible.
"Okay, we buy" he said.
"Gud Gerl," said Hasmi, grinning, then wrapped his arm in the hand of Nilan—, leading to the pharmacy.
There were a lot of people buying at the counter, so Nilan was nervous. She was afraid if anyone knew her, then saw her buy a pregnancy test kit. Moreover, if the university finds out, he will be dismissed in two weeks.
"Relax, let me take care of it" whispered Hasmi.
They marched on the counter, and are now third. Hasmi pulled out the phone, then suddenly placed it in the ear. Nilan looked at him questioningly, not knowing what Hasmi was planning.
Nilan now understood, what Hasmi did with his talk on the phone:
"Know! Just calm down, okay? Yeah, I know. I know!"
Hasmi deliberately raised his voice a little, to attract the attention of other customers and the cashier at the counter.
He placed his hand on his forehead, then sighed dramatically.
"I was at this pharmacy. Yes, we bought three test kits so you can get pregnant. You don't have to panic."
Nilan was stunned; Hasmi turned to him, then put the phone back in his pocket; winked at Nilan, then confidently faced the cashier then asked for three test kits.
Nilan breathed a sigh of relief.
"Thankfully there was Hasmi" he thought.

Now they're back in the dorm.
"Okay, here we go. There are instructions on how to use it," Hasmi said as he handed the bag containing the tool to Nilan.
With trembling hands, Nilan took it.
"You should be able to, Nilan," Hasmi said.
He patted Nilan on the shoulder, telling her that everything would be fine.
Nilan hoped for the same.
He breezed into the bathroom, then locked himself in it; opened the package; bit his lip, then read the instructions for use.
He stared at the reflection of himself in the mirror, thinking that whatever the outcome of this, would change his life. Despite other thoughts, he ignored them.
Three bars have been tried, but the result is the same. Although Nilan denied it, the evidence still appeared. Now she sits on the tiled floor of the bathroom, leaning against the wall; bending her knees and hugging her, while tears flow.
Two lines: positive.
Nilan's pregnant.
He can't do anything. It's all been happening.
"Yes God! I'm going to be a mother!" thought.
Nilan did not know until when he would be in this position. It had been too long for Hasmi to worry, he had knocked on the door from earlier, but Nilan did not answer him. Nilan was completely speechless, just continued to stare at the three tool rods while crying silently; hoping for one last line of negativity. However, his prayer was not answered. Two lines still appear.
"Oh my God, Nilan!"
Hasmi gasped at Nilan. Previously he decided to open his own bathroom, because he did not get an answer from Nilan.
He immediately rushed to the side of Nilan, then pulled her into a hug; a quick glance at the three tool rods on the floor. He stroked Nilan's back.
"Silence, Nilan. I'm here."
Nilan was sobbing even harder. His shoulders were shaking from crying— paid no attention to the tears that wet his clothes. He just gripped Hasmi tighter, pouring out all the feelings.
However, Nilan finally thought to keep the baby. For him, it is his personal part. No matter how upset he was now, he didn't want to get rid of him. Her tears now are only due to emotions— disappointment and anger at yourself, at the person who drugged her: Tesla; the happiness of now having a baby in the womb; the fear of not knowing whether to be a mother.
Hasmi helped Nilan stand up, so that Nilan stopped crying, then washed his face.
Now they are in the living room. Nllan curled up on the sofa; did not speak. Hasmi sat quietly beside him.
Hasmi got up and went to the kitchen, then came back with a big bowl of ice cream and a big pack of Snack.
"I think you need this" he said.
He handed the ice cream to Nilan.
Nilan nodded; sat on the sofa.
"Thank you," he said, raucous.
Hasmi smiled; reassuringly, "You'll be fine, Nilan."
"Yes." Yeah."
They eat in silence. Nilan drowns misery into ice cream, while Hasmi chews his Snack. Three bowls of ice cream were already spent, and he was already feeling better. Yeah, luckily Hasmi brought ice cream.
Nilan stretched his body languidly on the sofa, then placed his foot on Hasmi's lap.
"What's your plan now?" ask Hasmi.
"Tomorrow I'll make a doctor's appointment."
"OKAY. Waiting to graduate, how?"
Nilan sighed, combing his hair with his fingers.
"Gue seems to be going home. But then ask permission first with the lecturer, make the graduation nunda."
Nilan does not want to stress because of the exam during pregnancy. He also does not need to find a job, because it is financially stable—with parent's inheritance money. According to him, it is more than enough for the cost of living during pregnancy.
"Are you sure you want to go home? Who put you there? You'll be alone!"
"I'll find an assistant."
Nilan's parents are dead, only the maid is in charge of her house. He also has no relatives here, because as an only child, while his relatives live abroad.
Now Hasmi faces Nilan.
"I don't think I agree. You know, right, Willi same me again looking for a contract. Mending you're ngekost next to us."
Hasmi and Wili have been dating for almost a year. They really liked each other, even decided to get married after college.
"Come, Nilan. I can't relax if you're alone let alone pregnant. I want to be close to you until the beautiful Debay is born."
Nilan raised an eyebrow.
"Lo sure my daughter is a girl?"
Hasmi grinned.
"Yes, he should look like me too. Xixi."
Nilan rolled his eyes.
"Hadeuh, it's up to you, it is."
Hasmi also has a point, Nilan thought. Nilan must have someone known during pregnancy, in order to make her comfortable.
"Good! So, we start looking for a hostel tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow I'll go to the doctor, Has."
"That's why I'm coming."
"Yes, okay."

Today, they are on their way back to campus—Hasmi is driving. They just got back from a meeting with the doctor. As expected, the doctor confirmed Nilan's pregnancy. Nilan is three weeks pregnant; due on December 22. Doctors said Nilan could give birth before or a few days later. He prescribed Nilan the vitamin; instructed what he could and could not do, then sent him back next month.
"So," exclaimed Hasmi, "you want to tell me?"
Nilan glanced slightly at Hasmi, then looked out the window. He knows what Hasmi means—and who is meant.
"Gue doesn't know" he said, honestly.
Sighing, he wiped the sweaty palms on the jeans.
"We both know, Tesla's the kind of guy who likes to go as he pleases. I'm not sure, I dare not tell him," Nilan added without seeing Hasmi.
