Chapters.13. We're your family too.

After all the food and drinks were ready to be served, Mama Rose told Lili to call Arthur and Zia.

"Emm .. sorry Aunt, I-I"

"Not to be shy! arthur's room is clean."

Mama Rose encourages Lili's body to immediately go to Arthur's room, even though Lili feels hesitant to meet the man. Especially since the incident at his home today made him feel embarrassed and awkward.

Because she could no longer refuse Mama Rose's message, Lili finally went to Arthur's room which had been shown by Mama Rose.

"Arthur! the food is ready, let's eat!" call Lili while knocking on Arthur's door.

Several times Lili did, but Arthur did not appear to make Lili forced into the room.

"Arthur!"

Lili entered slowly into Arthur's room, she flirted to and fro looking for the man's whereabouts.

Lili rounded her eyes when she saw Arthur sleeping on the bed, but she kept calling him but he fell asleep in the dream.

Lili did not wake Arthur when she saw her daughter was also sleeping in the man's arms, her eyes suddenly felt hot because of the sight before her at this time.

Lili's body froze, with her heart pounding hard. His chest began to feel tight because of the sadness that enveloped his heart, how not, he was like seeing a whole household life that he could not give to Zia.

Some tears began to drip, what a sight that felt so heartbreaking. He did not know if he could give a whole family like everyone else to his daughter.

Feeling unable to bear being in the room, Lili turned around and was about to leave.

"Oh God!"

Lili jumped in shock as she saw Mama Rose standing behind her, she immediately wiped away the tears still lingering on her face before the middle-aged woman saw her.

"Ta-tante, they, they're still sleeping!" lili.

Mama Rose walked towards the bed to see the two boys, she smiled as she saw Arthur and Zia sleeping.

"Let them sleep for a little while, after all, Arthur's father hasn't come home yet!"

Finally Mama Rawar again invited Lili to get out of the room, they then sat in the family room to wait for Arthur to wake up and and also his father came home from work.

"how's your job, Lili? smoothly?" mama Rose asked, for some reason she was always gentle with others, but not with her own child.

"Thank God, Auntie!"

Lili is grateful because there are no obstacles in her work even though she has to take care of her daughter as well.

"If you're teaching, then who is Zia with?"

Mama Mawar already knew that Lili worked as a lecturer, and she was worried about Zia while her mother was working.

"Zia I'm dropping in at daycare, Auntie!"

Mama Roses nods her head, it is better to leave it to daycare than to hire a babysitter.

"if you don't mind, Auntie can take care of Zia!"

Lili was surprised to hear Mama Rose say, she couldn't possibly trouble others which would definitely make her uncomfortable.

"it's okay Auntie, I don't want to trouble-"

"troubles what? Aunty loves to play with Zia, and Auntie doesn't have a job!"

Lili smiled faintly, she felt uncomfortable to accept the help of others for free.

"start tomorrow, you can take Zia here. Or let Auntie pick him up!"

"no need, Auntie! let Zia-"

"you can't refuse!"

Lili was at a loss for words, it seemed that her own arbitrary nature in Arthur was declining from her Mama.

"Mama! is the food not ripe?"

"why? Zia hungry yet?" ask Mama Rose.

"Not only is he hungry, but so am I!"

Arthur looks upset, his stomach has been rumbling since then but his mother did not call him.

"make who you sleep for!" reply to his mother tightly, Arthur just turned his face because he was reluctant to see the Mama.

Not long after, Papa Ari came home from the office. Mama Roses and Lili immediately served food and drinks onto the dining table for all of them.

"Father, Cia doesn't want to be a pussy!"

Arthur who wanted to enter his first feed to be not so, he turned towards Zia who was marginalizing the vegetables on his side.

"Zia, if you eat it, you have to use vegetables too!"

The little girl pouted when she got a reprimand from her mother, she was indeed very unhappy with all kinds of vegetables.

"Why doesn't Zia eat vegetables? is Zia a carnivore?"

Klenting, the spoon held by Lili to the point of falling on the floor when she heard Arthur's words, while Mama Mawar and Papa Ari giggled at their son's words.

"Papa, what's a calcicle?" zia asked innocently to make both Arthur's parents laugh more.

"Zia's not old enough to know! now Zia eat well, if you don't want vegetables don't need to be eaten, location on Papa's plate!"

Arthur looks very painstaking while serving Zia, even the little girl seems to have forgotten the existence of the mother.

"Pa, is Arthur compatible with having a child?" mama Rose whispered while nudging her husband's arm.

"Suitable from where? he couldn't even tell the difference between humans and animals!"

Mama Rose again laughed when she heard her husband's words, she then continued eating while watching Arthur who was serving Zia.

After they finished eating, they went back to talking. Many things Arthur's family asked Lili, including about her status as a widow.

Lili seemed hesitant to tell about what had happened to her because she had always been alone without family and without friends.

"If you don't want to answer, don't answer! Mama likes kepo!"

Mama Rose frowned when she heard Arthur's words, while Lili smiled at the attention Arthur gave her.

"i was a widow when I was one month old, and I didn't even know I was pregnant,"

lili's voice was softly heard, it was clear that those were the saddest times for her.

Mama Rose turned to sit beside Lili, she rubbed the woman's back making Lili smile knot.

"then, where's your family, Lili? don't they live here?" ask Mama Rose back.

Lili shook her head. "My family lives in the next town, and I've never communicated with them again!"

Lili lowered her head, she felt sad again when she remembered about her family.

Everyone was silent, even Zia did not let out her voice as if she knew that her mother was sad.

"Now, don't tell me your family's in the city next door! since you entered this house, we are your family!"

Lili looked at Mama Rose with teary eyes, she felt disbelief because there was someone who stretched out a family rope to her.

"especially if you're married to Arthur, then you'll be-"

"Mama!"
