The hour of office came. I quickly tidied the table and immediately went to Mr. Alvin's room to leave.

"Excuse me Sir. All of them I have tidied up then I go home first, sir." said I

Without even looking at me he nodded his head if he would let me go home first.

*The next day

" Good Morning sir." I welcome Mr. Alvin

As usual, he was very quiet. Not even a smile. I went straight to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee that should be there every morning.

''Check my schedule for the next few days. I have business so arrange as best as possible" he said

"Well sir." I answered while putting the coffee down.

I went back to my desk. In the middle of my activities. Mr. Alvin came to my table.

"Are you busy?" ask him

"No sir" I replied

"Then this afternoon come to lunch with me." continued

"Okay sir" I replied.

I couldn't resist because I knew he didn't like being rejected.

*Lunch Hours

Me and Mr. Alvin went for lunch. I don't know where to take it. We took the car out of the office.

After a trip of about thirty minutes we arrived in front of a very luxurious house.

"Sorry sir where are we?" I asked because I was very curious.

"This is my parents' house. Come down and enjoy lunch. Consider this also part of your duties as my secretary. So don't get me wrong." obviously

"Ba.baik sir." answered me nervously

We got out of the car and not long ago a voice called out to Mr. Alvin. Yes, of course she's Mr. Alvin's mother.

"My son, my mother misses you dear" said Mrs Farida, Mr. Alvin's mother, hugging her only son.

"I'm Mom too, is Mom okay?" reply Alvin

"Of course I love you." explains Mrs Farida

I don't know why I'm so happy with this atmosphere. Here I can see Mr. Alvin's face is different than usual. Now he is full of warmth.

"He's Sofia Bu. My new secretary. I deliberately asked her to not be lonely. Because I'll be here maybe until night." explained Mr. Alvin

"Assalamualaikum Madam, I'm Sofia."

"waalaikumussalam Sofia's. Call me Mom, you're so pretty." Praise her for making me wrong. And that made Mr. Alvin a little chuckle. Makes me even more embarrassed.

We entered the house to the dining table which was full of lunch dishes. And it sure makes me hungrier.

"Let's Sofia sit down." Take Farida's mother

"Yes Ma'am, before her Sofia wants to go to the toilet, Diman ya Bu toilet?" ask me

"There's at the end of the kitchen, baby."

"Thank you, Mom."

After I finished the toilet, I went back to the table. Farida and Alvin's mother's designs are waiting. They look very happy.

The lunch begins. I took enough rice and vegetables.

"Sofia let's add more. You have to eat a lot to be strong against Alvin. He's a really shitty boss, isn't he?" ask Farida's mother

"hkhkhk.." I choked on hearing Farida's mother's words

"Drink first Sofi" said Mr. Alvin while offering a glass of water

I immediately drank it.

"Thank you sir."

"Slowly eat it" said Mr. Alvin

"Well sir,"

It turned out that Farida's mother was watching us. I was so embarrassed that he looked at us with a smile. I'm afraid he misunderstood.

After I finished eating, I was invited around by Farida's mother. We stopped at the back garden. There I listened to his story.

"Sofia you have to be patient with Alvin. He's actually good, but because his past trauma made him what he is today. You know, when you choked earlier, I saw that Alvin was very worried." His words confused me.

"Yes ma'am." That's all that came out of my mouth
