chapter 15

Alvin went to Sofia's nursery. There was Rania and Fatimah's mother. Rania immediately asked about the condition of her brother who until now had not been aware.

"What did the doctor say?" ask Rania

"She's just a soy sauce, you don't worry about it." Alvin tries to calm Rania and Fatimah's mother

the flashback

"Excuse me doc, I'm Sofia's family." Alvin went into the doctor's office

"Please sit down sir. There are a few things I have to do" the doctor said

"Look sir, the patient's condition is stable. He was exhausted and lacking nutrition. Is the end of this he's very busy?" ask the doctor

"Yes sir it's been almost a week he's overtime kept the same as me" replied Alvin

"Would he rest first, do not get tired and stressed, it can lower his blood pressure" explained the doctor

"Okay doc. if so please excuse me first." said Alvin

flashback off

Sofia realized that everyone in the room was very happy, including Alvin who from earlier looked worried. Alvin is unaware of how worried he is about Sofia, but Farida's mother finds out after seeing Alvin out of the doctor's room.

It's late, Alvin's still waiting for Sofia. Fatimah's mother had told Alvin to come home but Alvin didn't want to.

"Son Alvin, it's late to go home. You have to work tomorrow. Sorry today to make Alvin's son not to go to the office" said Ms Fatimah

"It's okay Mom. Tonight let me take care. Mom and Rania are back. It's not good if you stay up." persuaded Alvin

"No son. Let me just." Fatimah's mother tried to resist but it seemed Alvin remained clean.

Fatimah and Rania go home with Farida's mother. After all, Alvin was left.

The morning came, the sunlight entering through the glass made Sofia wake up. Sofia searches for the whereabouts of her mother and sister but none. Until his eyes found the figure of a man who was still sleeping soundly on the sofa. His face was very peaceful. Sofia sits down and still sees Alvin sleeping.

Alvin wakes up and is shocked to see Sofia is awake. He immediately approached Sofia.

"How are you doing? Which part hurts? Is it still dizzy? Are you hungry?" Alvin kept asking

Sofia was just silently puzzled by Alvin's question.

"Why are you quiet?" Alvin protests because he feels cheated

"I am confused as to which answer sir" Sofia replied with a smile

Somehow Sofia was very pleased with Alvin's attention.

"Does Mr Alvin look after me all night?" ask Sofia

"yes." Alvin was a little misbehaved

"Thank you sir, sorry for the trouble" Sofia said

"It's okay, it's my responsibility because it makes you tired" Alvin replied

Soon Fatimah and Rania's mother came with food for Alvin. They know from yesterday Alvin must have not eaten.

"Thank you, Fatimah. It's delicious." praised Alvin as he continued to eat because he was hungry.

After eating Alvin said he had to go to the office because there was an important meeting today.
