Price of a Drop of Seed (Dinikahi Om Duda)
Chapter 8 Defending

"What else is it, Ma? Almost every day, I keep talking. When did Mama stop ngedumel," said Jonathan who turned out to have returned from the office.

"This is your wife, look at that scorched temple. How to cook is not good. You have to choose dong Jo's wife. A child who still can't do anything you marry," replied Mama Mutia, sewot.

Instead of blaming Miranda, Jonathan smiled at Miranda, "It's only been a matter of a few days Ma. Cook it straight away. Mama, let Jonathan and Miranda cook!"

Jonathan hopes that choice is the best. She does not want Miranda to continue being the moons of Mama Mutia just because she thinks Bara died due to Miranda's mistake of refusing to get back together.

"Tap you abis home from work, Jo. You must be tired, right?" Mama Mutia again glanced at Miranda with a hateful look.

"Udah, Mom. No need to worry about Jonathan!" The 37-year-old was convincing again.

"Yes, it's up to you. Make sprains work. When can the meeting be useful!" Mama Mutia continued cursing as she waltzed away from the place.

Jonathan felt bad for having to see the sadness on Miranda's face. Honestly, Jonathan doesn't mind anything. Miranda wants to cook anything. But Mama Mutia always said condescendingly and it certainly hurt Miranda very much.

"Yes, you don't have to think about the words of Mama, mending us cook again!"

"Yes Om, sorry. I've always troubled Om's life!"

Jonathan shook his head, then answered him as calmly as possible so that Miranda would be comforted and forget the words of her father-in-law, "Who said? Mama mutia said like that not because she does not like it, you just do it because she still does not accept it if Bara does not exist. But I'm sure. As time goes by. Mama will understand that you are the dream daughter-in-law!"

Miranda tried to accept that, she also did not want to be easily offended because of Mama Mutia's words.

About thirty minutes into the kitchen, Miranda and Jonathan set it on the dining table. Then go into the room to clean yourself first.

"Is tomorrow still a matter of course?" Jonathan asked on the sidelines wearing clothes.

"No, Miranda wants to take a diploma for a while!"

"Oh yes, that means Om has to come there to take Bara's diploma!"

"Yes Om, but Miranda would like to ask Om to pick up Miranda's friend at her house. What can Om? Miranda promised you that?"

Jonathan assures her, however, that's not a hard thing for him to do, "But there's a condition?" Jonathan sat himself on the edge of the bed holding Miranda's hand.

"What's that?" Miranda was curious.

"During our marriage we had just had a relationship once. So Om plans to take you with Om out of town the day after tomorrow. Calculate the honeymoon but while working!"

Miranda frowned for a moment, She still could not believe that Jonathan would do that. For two weeks Jonathan had not wanted to invite him to talk because he was still shocked and sad. Just now Jonathan wanted to talk loosely when Mama Mutia scolded him.

"Well, Miranda would you like to?"
