Right in the hundred days of the death of Dipta's father, Dipta graduated from his school. During the graduation of his schoolgirls, Dipta and her mother were incessantly crying but her crying was only in her heart. His shortness of breath was heard shortly after seeing his other friends coming with his father and mother. Again, their cries remained in their hearts.
The crowds of people made them not free to vent their cries. When others are rejoicing in celebrating her graduation. That is inversely proportional to the Creator. He was just sad.
Not that he was not happy if he graduated just that he and his mother remembered his father's promise to Dipta when his father was alive.
"A good school! You are the only son of the father" said his father Dipta while stroking his son's straight hair.
"Yes Dad," nods Dipta.
"What are Aa's ideals?" ask father.
"It wants to be an accountant, Yah" said Dipta.
"Keep if you want to be an accountant later take a major what A? Sorry, I don't understand what I think. My school is not high."
"Take the accounting major Well."
"Oh if you majored in accounting at which campus A?" ask his father again.
"Created to take college in Bandung or Jakarta only Well. Not far from Sukabumi."
"Oh so yeah. Yes, I pray for you to live a long life and be able to finance you and your brothers to college" said his father.
"Sipp Dad."
"Aamiin's." Mother also agreed.
His father's conversation back then. Still remembered clearly the smile of the spirit of his father who really wanted his children to high school to become a scholar.
But now a promise is just a promise. Her father is gone. His mother also only opened a small seblak stall that now opens a Sembako stall as well. His mother's income was only enough to finance Dipta's school and her sisters as well for their daily needs.
Dipta did not regret the passing of his father so quickly and suddenly because he believed God loved his father more. And Allah will surely continue to give his best to his servant even without being asked. As long as his servant still believes in him.
Attending the graduation event was very long for Dipta and her mother. For their bodies are there but not their souls, hearts, and minds.
All his thoughts were still with his father. Seeing the look on their faces that are lethargic and not excited, Mr. Herman approached Dipta and his mother.
Mr. Herman seemed to know what the Creata and his mother were thinking.
"Assalamualaikum Created."
"Vaalaikumsalam. Eh Mr. Herman," said Dipta while greeting Mr. Herman's hand.
His mother turned to look at Mr. Herman and stood up to greet him.
"How are you doing, ma'am?"
"Alhamdulillah good sir."
"Congratulations, Mom. Dipta got the highest UN value in his force."
"The plan is to take college where is Mom? There is an invitation from a state university in Jakarta to Dipta. Because the value of rapot Dipta curve always goes up from class X to class XII. Then the value of UN Dipta is also high," explained Mr. Herman.
Dipta and her mother just glanced at each other and was silent and did not give any response. Seeing that Mr. Herman took Dipta and his mother out of the hall and went to a place that was not too noisy because the sound of choir music was very echoed throughout the hall room.
"We'll just sit here first, okay? Because there's something I want to talk about" asked Mr. Herman. There was little concern for Mr. Herman about Dipta because he knew the problem of Dipta hesitating about going to college or uncertain because the money considering his father the backbone of the family was gone.
"Okay sir" said his mother Dipta while sitting on a chair located on the edge of the school hall garden. Dipta also sat in the middle of Mr. Herman and his mother.
"Created and Mother. If I'm presumptuous, I'm sorry but is there something I should ask? About what makes Dipta so heavy to take the invitation path?" ask Mr. Herman carefully.
"Ehm... You also know that his father Dipta is dead. So I think you must understand our objections where," said his mother Dipta hold the pain in his heart.
"In the financials, Mom?" ask Mr. Herman to make sure.
"Yes Sir. Because Dipta also has two sisters who are still in school. Honestly, I really want to educate my smart boy. But I'm afraid I can't afford it" explained his mother Dipta.
He continued his mother's story.
"Actually Mother had asked me to accept the invitation path, sir. Because Dad's money is still twenty million more. I want to use that money for my college. But I can't accept it sir. Poor my sisters, I'm afraid they're not going to school because of the money used for me to go to college." Dipta added.
"Well, if that's the case. If you and I don't mind. I want permission from Mom to help Dipta pay half his semester's money. How's it?" haggling Mr. Herman.
Hearing the sincerity of Mr. Herman wants to help Dipta make Dipta and his mother become overwhelmed. There are still good people in this world. They could not say anything to hear Mr. Herman's good intentions.
Although honestly even if Mr. Herman helped half of it, they would not be able to pay half of it. Plus the campus is in Jakarta.
Automatically Dipta has to spend there. Not to mention the cost for daily life of Dipta. Many say the capital is cruel. Even so, many managed to become nomads there but not a few also failed and hung up on the streets of the capital.
"How was it created or Mother? Want to take my help?" mr. Herman's question exposes the Dipta daydreams about the capital.
"If I how Dipta aja Pak," said his mother gave the decision to Dipta. He also saw his mother. Then saying.
"Before thank you sir for having good intentions towards me. It's not that I don't respect the Father but I can't seem to accept the Father's offer."
"Why Dipta? You're a smart kid! It's a pity that you don't move on to a higher level." Mr. Herman asked the reason again.
"I want to work, sir! Find extra money for my mom and my sisters. If there is more money later I will continue to lecture by taking employee classes," said Dipta unanimously.
"You sure?" ask Mr. Herman again.
"In Shaa Allah sure sir!"
"Yes already. I pray that in the future you will be a successful person!" Said Mr. Herman while patting Dipta's shoulder.
"Thank you sir for the prayer."
