Chapter:14 Disappointed
Lia seemed to be settling her way towards the guest room. Lia stopped her steps after hearing her husband talking on her phone.
"Back to work.tomorrow, I'll pick you up, Des. You just wait in the usual place" said Rian.
Lia's eyes were wide open and her heart was beating faster when she heard the words of her husband, clearly heard in her ears.
"I have to investigate my husband's affair with my own best friend, tomorrow I have to stand by in front of my husband's office, and follow the direction his car drove.
Maybe they made a deal at a cafe, a restaurant, or I don't know. I don't know either" murmured Lia's heart.
