CHAPTER VII - Laughter

"What? Bang Tio's going to Kalimantan?" agni asked Niwi, after hearing Niwi's explanation.

"Say that, want to work as a Company Doctor," replied Niwi.

Agni fell silent, her eyes looking sad.

"Ni..kamu why?" ask Niwi. Agni was awakened from her daydream.

"Ah.. ga what is.. eh how are you the same handsome consul?" Agni diverted the conversation.

Niwi suddenly blushed in embarrassment. "the time after poli yesterday, we had lunch together," he replied.

"Whuih.gilee.. Inceran you directly consulen, ga to the resident first..." Agni amazed.

Niwi laughed off. "It turns out Doctor Ray was good not made up. Really good. He told me a lot about himself.."

"Hahahaha.just beware that you are in real love." threatened Agni.

Niwi. Of love? Ls i? It may be too soon to say this. They had only had one lunch together, and had never communicated by phone other than for the affairs of patients. Plus, they are almost 22 years old. Dr. Ray is better suited to be his father than his partner.

"Wi.malah dumbly.." Agni's voice broke Niwi's daydream.

"Emang if Oom-oom's crush is a sin, huh?" Nia asked Agni.

Agni chuckles. "Yeah, no, anyway.. As long as the oom-oom isn't somebody's husband, yeah.."

The sound of a mobile phone ringing sounded from inside Niwi's bag. He looked at the phone screen and was shocked. He was silent. His mouth was open, as if he could not believe his own vision.

"Ni.." she said slowly to Agni.

"Why?" Agni was getting worried.

Niwi showed her phone screen to Agni. Both stunned. Niwi seemed hesitant to answer the phone call.

"Doctor Ray called me, why, huh?" tanyakanya.

"Udah, answer me.." chirped Agni.

Niwi gathered her courage and answered the phone call.

"Ha..hello..happy afternoon, Doctor.." he said stammered.

"Hello, Niwi. Where are you?" doctor Ray's warm voice sounded from across the phone.

"In the back canteen of the hospital, Doctor.."

"You're afternoon service, aren't you?" ask again.

"No, Doctor. I'm done for today" Niwi replied.

"Ooh, then I'll wait in the polyclinic room now, yeah.."

"Okay, Doctor, good day.."

Dr. Ray ended the call. Niwi and Agni were astonished.

"Did I make a fatal mistake, huh?" ask Niwi.

Niwi stepped into the Gastro-Entero-Hepatology polyclinic room. The room was almost empty. There's only a handsome Doctor Ray in there. He was still sitting in his chair while writing some notes.

Niwi ventured to knock on the door. Doctor Ray looked over, then smiled. He let Niwi in.

Doctor Ray is incredibly handsome. Today he is wearing a blue checkered shirt, with blue dongker jeans. It is not at all noticeable that his age is already 4 heads.

Doctor Ray realizes Niwi's presence. She smiled sweetly looking towards Niwi.

"Hey, come sit down," he let Niwi sit down.

Niwi, who was still confused, simply complied and sat in the chair the patient used to sit in while he was consulting.

"Sorry, Doc. What am I doing wrong?" Niwi asked with concern.

Doctor Ray laughed. The dimples of her thin cheeks further complement her good looks.

"Fear very, really." he said, blinking one eye.

Niwi gulped, Her imagination is already moving wildly. She imagines romantic scenes in the Grey's Anatomy Drama Series. He wanted to immediately wrap his arms around Doctor Ray's neck, let their gazes clash with each other, and no matter what would happen next, he would choose to give up on the circumstances.

"News..." Doctor Ray waved his hand right in front of Niwi's face who had been unconsciously smiling to himself.

"Eh.yeah, Doctor.." Niwi was awakened from her daydream. His cheeks were red.

"Dining, yuk.." said Dr. Ray who made Niwi clasped his white coat pocket tightly.

Doctor Ray invites Niwi to eat at the cafe which happens to be not far from where he lives. They tell me a lot of things.

"You can be a great doctor, Wi. You're a pinter, a hard worker, a good-natured one." - Doctor Ray.

"Hopefully I can get a scholarship for a specialist school, yes, Doc. If for my own costs, my mother can do it." said Niwi.

Niwi told the outline of her family life. Sometimes they laugh. Dr. Ray likes to joke.

"I heard you were dating Dr. Erland's son, huh?" seduce Doctor Ray again.

Niwi glared in wonder. "Where did the doctor hear the news?"

"Doctor Erland was my senior in FK, we were pretty close. He often tells about his son who again likes one of the cute Internal Medicine coas, pinter, ceriwis. Is there anything else besides you?" Doctor Ray teased Niwi which made her blush in embarrassment.

"We're not dating, Doctor." he said.

"I know his son, well. Why don't you want to?" ask again.

"Maybe I like it not yet" he replied.

"How do you like a guy?"

"There are no specific criteria. The important thing is to mature" replied Niwi.

Doctor Ray looked at him sharply, smiling. "If the same is much more mature than you, will it?"

Niwi. His heart was beating very fast. Undeniably, he felt very happy.
