Bernard is thrilled that his plan to destroy Thomas's engagement day succeeds without having him alone involved,

James, hoping that Anthony would break his daughter's engagement to Thomas, was a little disappointed that Anthony Addrew had decided to continue his daughter's engagement that day, with only Natasha's family and close friends attending.

" Thank you pa" Natasha said as she resumed her engagement to Thomas.

Natasha and Thomas feel very happy because they can finally get engaged even though it is not as they planned.

James was upset by Anthony's attitude which he thought was a plan to take a break in terms of engagement for his own daughter.

" Let's see Thomas I will do my best to separate you and Natasha because I don't want Natasha's tears to fall back because of your actions" James said in his heart.

Bernard who was waiting for James came to see his face looked gloomy as usual.

" Why is it with your face James, you seem to have a serious-looking problem? " ask Bernard.

" Are you upset with me James? " ask Bernard again.

" It's Mr. Bernard, you don't have to help me let this be my own business, and my coming here intends to stop working with you" James said.

" Is there anything that makes you change the decision you're making right now? " ask Bernard.

" That's because I thought I wanted to move to a place where I was comfortable without the slightest problem bothering me "James replied briefly.

" Well if that's your decision, and take it as my thanks because you've been helping me all this time" Bernard said, throwing a thick envelope at James.

James took a quick peek at the contents of the envelope, and he was shocked that Bernard had paid him too much from their agreement.

" Are you not miscalculating Mr Bernard? " ask James.

" Of course not, I think that's a pretty decent price you get for helping me" Bernard said .

" Thank you, sir, if nothing is spoken of again I say go" James said.

James felt compelled to stay away from Bernard so that Anthony and his daughter would not be disappointed that he was a criminal all along, fearing that Anthony and his daughter would get into trouble if he continued to work for Bernard.

James decided to move from this city to where he could start his new life, and wanted to forget the bad things he had done during his time in this city.
