Bernard Chadwik, eager to see Thomas's destruction, arrives at Thomas's office and pretends to be a good brother to him.

Jonathan, who is still in Thomas' office, tells more details about the man who was with James Cameron, but how shocked Jonathan was when he saw someone standing at the door with Kevin.

"Mr Thomas has a guest for you" said Kevin standing in front of an open door with someone.

Thomas was also surprised by what he saw, whether he was hallucinating because he was in a chaotic mind Thomas thought.

But hearing the voice of the person who was with Kevin, it is not denied that the voice belonged to Bernard chadwik his half-brother.

"Hallo, my brother Thomas how are you?" greet Bernard and immediately step inside and directly hug him.

Thomas who was still in disbelief was still speechless, and rubbed his eyes after releasing a hug from him. "Bernard?."

Thomas looked at Jonathan as he looked between himself and Bernard. "Jo why do you see us like that?, let me introduce you to my brother here."

Jonathan drew closer to Thomas and slapped his cheek slowly while blinking his eyes, still in disbelief even though he was close to the two brothers he was facing.

"Jonathan this is Bernard the brother I told you about the other day" Thomas said, pointing to him.

"Did I not hear wrong, you once told me to your friend this "said Bernard by glancing his eyes at Thomas

regardless of Bernard Thomas's words, they continued their introduction, "and Bernard is Jonathan my friend."

Jonathan reached out his hand to shake Bernard's hand but it seemed that Bernard was reluctant to welcome Jonathan's hand. Thomas patted Jonathan on the shoulder so that he would not be disappointed in Bernard's attitude.

"Have you just returned to town today Bernard?" asked Thomas trying to figure out what he was planning.

Thomas thought that right then, wasn't it when Jonathan saw him about two weeks ago, but why did Bernard say that he had only arrived in the city two days ago.

Thomas smiles at his brother while thinking whether Bernard is lying to him, but for what Bernard is lying.

"That's just Ben's story" Thomas told Bernard by calling him by his small nickname.

"What kind of story is Thomas, I'd really like to know?" abugn.

"It's nothing, Mr. Bernard, I just

asking Thomas if he had a brother, and then he told me that's how the story is" Jonathan said, preventing Thomas from telling me the real reason.

Jonathan was very suspicious of Bernard, and from his words it seemed that he was afraid of being caught lying, Jonathan felt sure it was from his way of answering Thomas's question about when he arrived in the city.

Thomas could only tell his friend's story so Bernard wouldn't feel suspicious.

"As Jonathan said, I told you because he was curious about our family" Thomas said, trying to convince Bernard.

"Alright I believe in you Thomas,

and I also don't want to suspect trivial things like this" he said

"oh yeah Thomas how are your parents ?" ask Bernard

Thomas widened his eyes as Bernard asked about them, and Bernard who felt that there was a word error when he asked Thomas immediately corrected the question.

Bernard closed his mouth and immediately corrected his question. "Upsss . . Sorry Thomas I think I misquired the question, I mean the news about my father and your mother?."

Thomas, who was not happy when discussing about his parents, was offended by questions from Ben. Thomas answered only a short question from him.

"The news about my mom is fine, Ben, and if you ask me about your dad, you find out for yourself, I haven't been in contact with her in a long time."

"Why do you talk to him like that Thomas, is your affection for him not what he used to be?" asked Bernard.

"Don't you talk about it Ben, I'm sick of the way he's been treated and the way he's managed it."

"What did I feel happened to you, too, didn't Thomas?" ask again.

"All you have to say is that I have nothing to do with the man you call your father!" thomas said in a firm tone.

"okay, well my sister I won't talk about her anymore, I'd better get out of here, and as you suggested I'll find out about her myself " bernard said and immediately stepped out of Thomas' office.

When Bernard left, Jonathan could breathe a sigh of relief, he felt like he was in the midst of war and did not know which to defend.

"What a sight I rarely see my friend" Jonathan said after Bernard left

"What do you mean by that word Jo?" asked Thomas

"I'm just kidding, man, don't you bend your face, I'm so scared to see it" Jonathan said.

Thomas glanced his eyes sharply at Jonathan, so that his friend would not joke around in such a situation.

"That's Thomas, that look in your eyes that I haven't seen for a long time, I miss the glint of "Mr.Boy" like you did" Jonathan said

Thomas tried to be patient with his friend who drained his patience, when Thomas felt his patience was over then he taught his friend a lesson by wrestling with him until Jonathan felt defeated and did not disturb him anymore.

"Well, Thomas, now I'm not going to joke and tease you again this time I'm going to talk about something serious" said Jonathan who returned to his seat again

"I've been watching your brother closely, and I'm sure he's the one I saw with James Cameron back then, and if you don't believe it it's up to you" Jonathan said

"Well Jo, I believe you, but I need some pretty solid evidence for your conjecture" Thomas said

"It's not just a conjecture of friends, but I hurt him a hundred percent even if it takes a thousand percent, but if you need any other evidence I'll bring it to you" Jonathan said.

Thomas did not believe Jonathan, but rather Thomas was afraid that what Jonathan said was true, it was not that he feared Bernard but that he feared that his relationship with his brother would be destroyed forever.
