The day changed, Steven who had come to his office in the morning immediately met his two friends in his room.

"Steve, what did you mean that night?" asked Danny

"Yes yesterday when Celine and I were at the mall, I met David, I think when I was chatting with David, Celine saw us, when David left, I thought when I was talking to David, Celine immediately took me away from there with a stomachache, because Celine was going to the toilet. But I think Celine took me away not because of a stomachache, but David" Steven explained

Danny and Rico glanced at each other, because they actually knew that David Steven was looking for was David's client.

"Ehm. like this Steve, actually we already know" said Danny.

"What do you mean??" asked Steven in a tone that started to rise

"Look Steve, let us explain first" said Rico

"Quick say." said Steven

"When you told us to investigate David who was Celine's client, we were investigating him, and we already knew who he was. But we still want to find evidence first, until we find out from Fanny. The David you are looking for is David who is your current client Steve, Mr. David from Singapore", explained Rico

"What??? So David is the same David as my client???" Steven said

"Yes Steve, and a few days ago, we heard from Fanny that David had just expressed his feelings for Celine, but Celine refused and said that she already had a fiancee.", danny said

"But does he know that I'm Celine's fiancee?" asked Steven again

"That's what I don't know, but I don't think he knows yet, if he knows maybe he's come to you" said Rico

"Then how? Do I have to tell her that Celine is my fiance?", asked Steven

"Isn't it better that way?", asked Danny

"Let me talk to David later, it's easy he wants to understand and stay away from Celine" said Steven

"Well, if we go back to our room first" said Rico

Steven nodded, Danny and Rico immediately walked out of Steven's room.

Steven who had heard the explanation from Danny and Rico was confused. On the one hand he knows David likes a woman, but he does not know if David will continue to fight on Celine what retreat.

That afternoon, Steven plans to have lunch to chat with each other to let David know that Celine is his fiancee.

Steven had told Rico to reserve a restaurant for lunch later. But it was not Rico who contacted David, but Steven himself who would contact, because this was outside the office business.

Steven takes his phone to contact David, fearing David has an appointment with his client or other business.

"Hallo to David."

"Hallo Steven, what's wrong?"

"What day will you be empty? Because I want to take you to lunch."

"Ehmm.. like it's empty, only later I will tell you again, I have to ask my secretary first."

"Okay, let me know if you can."

"Okay Steve, I'll let you know."

"Okay ka."

Steven hung up and went back to work before lunch.

At exactly ten in the morning, Steven's phone rang, Steven saw the name on his phone screen and the name Celine was there. Steven picked up the phone immediately.

"Hallo darling."

"Hallo baby, where are you?"

"I'm in the office, what's wrong?"

"Later to lunch outside yuk, I again want to eat the cuisine of the field."

"Ehmm. but later I have an appointment with one of my clients for lunch."

"Hemm..well already if that's what I'll take Fanny to."

"Sorry baby, I'll pick you up in the afternoon if we eat wherever you want" said Steven

"Yes what what dear. Yes, I want to work again. Bye."

"Honey, bye."

Steven hung up after talking to Celine and put her phone back on the table.

But before long Steven's phone rang back, but he did not see who called and he immediately raised it because he was still focused on the documents he read.

"Yes, what's wrong?"

"Hallo Steve."

Instantly Steven pulls away his phone to see who called and it turns out it was David.

"I'm sorry about David, I thought my fiancee. Sorry ka.", said Steven chuckling

"You've been on the phone with your fiancee huh. haha."

"Yes, he just called me, I think he called again."

"Oh yeah, is your lunch offer still valid?"

"Yes, can you?"

"Yes I can, I asked my secretary and my schedule happened to be empty today."

"Okaya, I'll send you the name of the restaurant I've booked."

"Okay, just let me know."

"Okay ka."

After that Steven disconnected his phone and put back staring at the document he was reading earlier.

tock..tok...

"Log in." said Steven

Door opens.

"Steve.", call Rico

Steven looked up too

"Are you having lunch with David?", asked Rico who was sitting in the front seat of his desk.

"Yes so, David just told me", said Steven

"Okay, I've also reserved a place for you to have lunch" said Rico

"Okay you just set up all the Co." said Steven

"Oh yeah Steve, are you sure you want to tell David about your relationship with Celine?", asked Rico again

hearing Rico's question, Steven looked back at him.

"Actually I was confused how to explain it to David" said Steven.

"Do you want me to arrange for the three of you to meet?", asked Rico

"What's? three?", asked Steven

"Yes, let's talk to each other so that there are no more misunderstandings" said Rico

"But like not for now, I don't want Celine to be uncomfortable, especially David is a client in his company" said Steven

"Alright then, I'm sure you can handle it well" said Rico

"Yes, I hope so. Thankyou Rico", said Steven

Rico nodded and immediately walked out of Steven's room.

When Rico is out of his room, Steven gets more confused, what he did right or not.

On the one hand he was very afraid to lose the fiance he loved so much that he did not tell David.

But he also feared that David could not accept her and instead canceled his cooperation which would harm his company. And instead, continue to pursue Celine and destroy her relationship.

But if he doesn't come clean to David, he will continue to be surrounded by a sense of unease.

The clock has shown at half twelve noon, soon the time is lunch hour. Steven, who had finished his work, immediately went to the restaurant where he made an agreement with David.

Steven got up from his seat and immediately came out of his room to head to the lobby.

Arriving at the lobby he immediately got into his car and drove his car towards the restaurant.

When he got there, he had not seen David there, so he decided to wait for him in the room that had been prepared by Rico before.

When Steven was sitting down, a waiter came up to him and gave him a menu book.

"I order one ice cafe latte, the food will be later" said Steven

"Okay sir, wait a minute" said the waiter

Steven picked up his phone that was in his pants pocket and saw some notifications that appeared on his phone.

When he checked his phone, the drink he ordered came, the waiter immediately put the drink on the table.

"This is the drink, sir", said the waiter

"Thank you" said Steven

The waiter immediately came out of the room because the room was a VIP room.

After waiting for approximately ten minutes, the end of the person he was waiting for came.

"Steven.", said David

"Oh hi to David. Come sit down" said Steven

"Sorry Steve I came late because I had a little business. You waited a long time" said David

"No problem ka, oh yes brother want a message what? Let's order a meal first" said Steven

"Yes fine" said David

Steven called the waiter outside the door and raised his hand and the waiter understood and immediately approached them.

After ordering some food, the waiter immediately stepped out of the room.

While waiting for their food to come, the two of them were seen chatting small talk.

"Oh yeah Steven, how's your relationship with your fiancee?", asked David

"Okay, my relationship is good. What about brother?", asked Steven back .

hufft....

David seemed to be throwing his breath rough.

"What are you doing? Is there a problem with your brother?", asked Steven again

"The woman I like already has a fiancee" said David lethargic

"Do you know who your fiance is?", asked Steven

"I don't know who his fiance is yet, but I don't think I can let go. I've already fallen in love with him" said David again

Hearing David's words, Steven immediately hesitated to continue his conversation, because he already knew that David would not just give up.

"Will my brother keep fighting to get him even though he already has a fiancee?", asked Steven doubtfully

David seems silent for a moment before he answers Steven's question, which might change everything.

"I." said David.
