“What's Vera, it's late at night?” asked Rendy in a soft voice.

With a stammered voice Vera explained her sitting.

“I just had a fight with my husband, Rendy.”

“What is the weight of your problem until you have to leave home?” ask Rendy.

Vera only sobbed to hold back her grief.

“Come you enter first.” Rendy then embraces Vera's shoulder and invites her inside.

Then Rendy took the water from the kitchen and gave it to Vera.

“Now you drink first let it be calmer.” Rendy who sat beside Vera then stroked Vera's head gently.

Getting such a gentle and affectionate treatment from Rendy, Vera grew sadder. She felt sad for not getting such affection from her own husband.

Although Vera and Rendy separated a few years ago, Rendy still seems to love her. This can be seen from his attitude and his attention to Vera.

After Vera calmed down, Rendy asked again.

“Now try to tell me the problem until you leave home.”

“I can't stand living at home with my husband, Rendy,” Vera said looking for sympathy.

“What has your husband done to you?”

“My husband hurts my feelings a lot,” replied Vera.

Rendy seemed to be diligently listening to Vera's explanation.

“Isn't your wedding not long?” Rendy was astonished as well.

“Indeed Yes Rendy. Almost a month we were married but my husband suddenly changed once we got married.”

“Indeed why, did your husband cheat on you?”

Vera shook her head.

“Then what makes him not love you anymore.”

“He loves his first wife more than me.”

“You mean, your husband already had a wife before you?” ask Rendy surprised.

Vera nodded her head again.

“Udah know he already has a wife, why do you want to marry him?”

Finally Vera told Rendy everything. After finishing telling the story, Rendy could only be silent thinking about the solution. He did not expect Vera's life to turn out like this. Rendy who still loves Vera feels so sorry to see her loved ones living like this.

“This is the risk you have to face Vera even if it hurts. Whatever happens you have to accept freely because this has been your decision since the beginning.”

“But my husband has reneged on Rendy's promise. When he was about to marry Nayla, Rendy refused and said she would never be able to love Nayla. But what Rendy said was all a lie. He did not keep his promise.”

“That's what love is. Love can suddenly come and suddenly go because it comes from our deepest hearts. Love is not eternal Vera.”

“So what should I do Rendy. I am confused and annoyed,” said Vera while holding Rendy's hand.

Then Vera rested her head on Rendy's chest which was a plane. Rendy, as a man who had not had such affection for a long time from his wife, did not waste this opportunity. He immediately hugged Vera's waist and the two were silent for a moment enjoying the moments together. Not long after, Rendy started talking to Vera again.

“But I can't stand living in that house anymore Rendy.”

“Although you can not stand it, you should talk to your husband well and you should also be able to determine the attitude even though it will hurt your feelings later.

“What do you mean Rendy?”

“If you really can't stand it, you better ask for a divorce from him. Why do you keep your household while your husband no longer loves you. You better give up because giving up does not mean losing. But give up on seeking victory. It doesn't hurt to have a husband but to share. But if you still love your husband and still want to maintain your household, yes the only way you should be able to improve yourself as your husband requests.”

“But I'm not sure Rendy.”

“Why aren't you sure?”

“Because I saw for myself how my husband loves Nayla. Is it possible that my husband can love me again?”

“Why can't Vera. Everything is definitely possible important you are sure.”

“But I'm tired of Rendy. I gave up and was lazy to try again.”

“You're wrong Vera. If you still love your husband, you must keep trying and do not give up.”

“It feels free to sacrifice me Rendy if finally my husband will never divorce Nayla because he already loves her,” explained Vera.

Vera deliberately said that so that Rendy could take it back. After Reza's attitude changes along with Rendy's emergence in Vera's life, Vera makes greater hopes towards Rendy. Moreover, Rendy once told me that his household was fractured because the presence of a third person, his wife, was caught cheating. They are currently not officially divorced. His wife returned to her parents' home in Malaysia while Rendy returned to Indonesia. Actually Rendy had wanted to divorce his wife, only he was still thinking about his very small son. So because of the broken feelings of Rendy after knowing the affair of his wife, then he decided to move the task to a branch office in Indonesia.

“Rendy.. ,” said Vera in a spoiled tone.

“Hemm...”.

“I'm sleeping in your house tonight yes,” pinta Vera.

“What if your husband knows, he will be angry with me. I could be prosecuted for hiding you in my house.”

“But all this will be my will.”

“Although this is all your will, but I will be considered guilty of having accepted you to sleep in this house. Especially in this house, I am alone. What about the neighbors around here. Could-can I will be visited by time because of life together without marriage ties,” explained Rendy.

“I'll hide inside Rendy's house. I'm not going out. Surely no one knows.”

Rendy thought for a moment. She feels sorry for Vera but she also feels confused and hesitant to accept Vera overnight at her home. He was worried that if any of his neighbors saw him, people would accuse him of all sorts.

“If my advice, you better go home. You face your problems and don't hide like this. If you need to quickly solve your problem so it does not drag on like this.”

“But I don't want to go home to Rendy,” said spoiled Vera.

“However you should go home. You have to solve your problem, want to continue or stop here. If you still love your husband and accept life like this, you will inevitably have to live it. But if you can not stand your life now, yes you have decided to divorce.”

Vera who heard Rendy's explanation could only fall silent as she was also confused as to what to do.

“Alright Rendy, I will follow your advice. But for the time being I want to calm down first and I want to stay here with you. Later after I can decide I just go home.”

“Sorry Vera, it's not that I don't want to accept you staying in this house. But I don't want people out there thinking anything about us. Or put it this way, what if you live in an inn near here. Once you feel calm and can make a decision, then you just go home. If you want, let me find her lodging tonight. You also do not worry because I will later pay for everything including your living expenses while at the inn.”

After thinking for a while, Vera finally decided to accept Rendy's offer to find lodging around Rendy's residence.

“But Rendy, I didn't bring a change of clothes.”

“If the problem is tomorrow morning I will bring you a change of clothes. Because it's late at night and the shops are closed.”

Finally that night Rendy took Vera to an inn not far from where she lived.
