I'm Baras

I'm Baras
Chapters 109. Go home disappointed

"Down terminal xxx," Mayra said as she sat down, handing over one blue note and before long, Mayra received a change.

This afternoon trip brings her own stories, stories and events that open her eyes wide. May there be wisdom behind the events that have befallen my family," he said as he stared at the side of the window.

"Last terminal prep!" yelled at the kernet while hitting the roof of the bus, a habit that Mayra had just seen.

"Shortly, Miss!" the kernet shouted as it saw Mayra standing up and preparing.

Descending at the terminal together azan magrib reverberated, the nether was staring at a glance at the entire terminal looking for angkot according to the instructions of the grandfather. His lips smiled with relief when he saw the blue angkot, queueing waiting for passengers. The terminal condition is a little quiet, because it looks like some people are heading to the nearest Mushola or it is almost dark.

"Sir, past xxx street?" ask Mayra before boarding and make sure if the path she chooses is right.

"True angkot will pass through that road," replied the friendly driver.

"Can it go down at Panti xxx?" mayra asked again.

"Replace xxx, sure you want to go there?" ask the strange driver.

"True, sir there are relatives that I will visit and his house near Panti," lied Mayra.

"Ready! We wait until the angkot is full" replied the driver smiling.

Sitting in the angkot, one by one the other passengers began to arrive, filling the empty benches on the left and right sides of Mayra. The driver who had been silently observing turned around and looked at Mayra in surprise.

"Non, sure to come there?"

"Related, sir."

There are not yet two passenger seats that have not been filled, without much to say the driver immediately moves the lever and the angkot starts to walk a little slowly. For almost fifteen minutes the angkot trip stops right in front of the Panti. "You, sure get off here?" tanyanya while handing over the change.

Mayra just smiled and nodded to reassure. "Thank you, sir," he replied as he accepted the change and glanced across the street, more precisely at the dark-looking Panti.

"Non, after a U-turn, I'll approach Miss if I want to get to the terminal" the strange driver bargained.

"Thank you, sir, what's the last angkot until what time?" mayra asked hastily.

"Hour eight, if it's still passing," replied the driver then turned on the car's engine.

"Eight nights."

Mayra was still standing in his face staring at Panti, a building that still looks sturdy with an iron fence that looks starting to rust. "What's? This place is still working," he said as he crossed.

Mayra could see from a building of this size there was only one light that lit up and that was on the edge of the highway. The curiosity in his heart momentarily burned. Mayra chose to peek through the iron fence that was tightly closed. "Dark and weird, why does it look dirty?"

"It's been empty for a few months, miss!" a man shouted surprisingly.

Mayra immediately turned her head to look for where the sound source came from. Mayra slightly frowned when she found out who was yelling at her. Slowly Mayra approached greeting the salute of the man standing not far from her.

"What, this place is no longer in use?"

"Right, after that terrible incident. The great fire a few months ago," this man's story seemed to memorize correctly with the ins and outs of Panti.

"Then, Mommy Panti and the children?"

"They .. didn't have time to save themselves, look at that big padlock and that tight fence."

"But the building still looks solid?"

"Right, but in it all burned even some survivors, with burns, dear they finally caught up with the other Panti brothers."

The story of this man really made Mayra's heart shrink, curious about who Laras immediately extinct when he heard the story of this man. Mayra could only stand staring at Panti for a few minutes, before turning around and wanting to ask the man who was standing not far away.

"Sir. Sir!" mayra shouted in disbelief as she watched her interlocutor leave just like that.

"Surprisingly, is this what the angkot driver means?"

Mayra again walked closer, peering in the dim light and the sky getting darker which looks only black color covering the page Panti. "Soddy ...." Mayra raised her head for a moment, scratching her hair as if something was making her mind curious.

Slowly Mayra lowered her face through the same small gap, Mayra began to close her eyes, peering at the courtyard of Panti. "Why change? Argh ... no! Not that it just looked black, but now ...." Mayra immediately took a few steps back, when she realized that not only was she peeping at the moment, but behind the fence, where she was peeping, there were big eyes peeping at her, their eyes clashed with one another and what was heard then was only a large and heavy sigh.

"Geez!" mayra cried out in shock as her heart raced rapidly, as a cold hand touched her shoulder.

Mayra was getting frozen where she stood.

"Hi, Miss ... don't peek, you want this last angkot back!" the driver suddenly stood behind him.

"Miss, hurry!" shouted the driver and walked first to the angkot which is still burning.

Hearing the cry for the second time, Mayra immediately realized that the Panti was completely empty and she could feel if there was a negative aura that had passed in the courtyard.

"Non, hurry!" this man shouted for the third time.

Mayra, turn around. "I-yes, Sir. I went to the terminal" he replied.

Right now there's more important things than peeping Panti, if only for a minute he refused to sleep all night in front of the Panti fence or maybe he would find strange things that he did not want. "Wait Sir!" mayra shouted hurriedly.

Mayra slightly ran towards the angkot who was willing to wait for her. "Hufff ...." Sighs for a few minutes and rushes in the angkot.

"How did Non, meet his brother?"

Mayra smiled to cover up her embarrassment for lying. "No. Sir, maybe I got the wrong address" he replied as the angkot drove a little faster.

"What, you're curious about the Panty?" ask the driver to look, "The replacement is haunted, Miss. I reminded you already."

"Em ... What happened, can you tell me?" I'm not satisfied.

Hearing Mayra's question, the driver stared in surprise for a while. "It was scary since the fire, often disturbing people passing by, even we the taxi drivers had to honk to avoid strange things" explained the driver.

"I mean Father?"

"I don't understand myself either, but from the stories of some people like that and the rest there is no news or other stories that I heard," said the driver with a smile.

"Miss, where are you going?" ask the driver when entering the terminal area.

"City xxx, sir. Whahuh? Is there still a bus heading there?"

The driver looked at the watch he was wearing. "She, Non. The last bus was at nine" replied the driver as he stopped his car.

"No, Miss can buy tickets there."

"Thank you, sir." Mayra while paying angkot.

His steps were a little hasty, however he wanted to get home soon. Riding the bus with a feeling of slight disappointment, chose to sit by the window. Mayra subconsciously opened the bag that had been in her lap since. His hand reached out to reach the photo he had held since.

"Dad ...." Mayra muttered softly as she stared at the photo of her father's youth with both parents, now it's more appropriate for Mayra to call her Grandpa and Grandma.

His hand continued to rub the three smiling faces happily, without feeling his tears falling on the picture frame he held. His hand instantly eroded the bulir of tears that fell by itself. Hold a strong photo in his chest for a while until his stone feels relieved.

"Finally, all the stories and this little family trip ended all that was left was me," Mayra said unconsciously, again storing the picture frame that had been on her deck.

The bus was speeding up, the sound of the tire squealing against the asphalt several times sounded, some passengers were heard several times holding their chest in surprise, the sound of grunts and maki poisons can still be heard by Mayra even though her heart is currently racing fast. "What, I'm gonna die on this bus? Following Dad, Mom, Grandpa, Grandma and my half-brother Laras?" her tanyanya softly, her hand held her back bag tightly.
