For Your Mother's sake, You Betrayed Me
Zahra Change

Zahra left Rizal in anger. He did not expect that Rizal would continue insulting him like before. His heart was broken as it continued to be humbled. Zahra walked so fast that her feet tripped and fell.

"Awww, shhh!" Zahra held onto her stomach and tried to stand up again. He was limping around withstanding the pain in his stomach.

Tears continue to flow with pain that is difficult to explain. Finally he stopped and sat down on the sidewalk. She was crying all over, Zahra blurted out all her cries.

"What is my fault, God? Why is this ordeal so heavy? How else would I have to endure, I've let go and let go of everything. Why does he keep hurting me. Strengthen me, O Allah, strengthen my servant!"

Zahra who was dissolved in her sadness also felt weak. He no longer has the passion to get back to work, but he has to go back there anyway. Zahra stood up then she walked again to look for a taxi. Soon a taxi arrived and he went inside.

In the taxi, Zahra tries to ease her grief. He could not come back with a crying face. Soon Zahra arrived at her place of work. He went down and went straight into the flower shop.

"Assalamualaikum," Zahra said in a limp voice.

"Waalaikumsalam," answered everyone.

"Zahra why are you? Your face? you're crying, aren't you?" ask one of my friends.

Zahra smiled bitterly. "I'm fine. My eyes were twinkling when there was a strong wind" replied Zahra.

"You go straight to the manager's room, Ra. Mr. Faisal was looking for you" said Zahra's friend.

Zahra nodded, after which she headed to the manager's room. When Zahra got there, she knocked on the door. "Assalamualaikum" said Zahra.

"Vaalaikumsalam. Please come in" said the manager from the inside.

After that Zahra went inside and sat down in front of her manager. "Mother called me?" ask Zahra.

"Yes, there's a task for you. I asked you first, have you ever worked in one of the boutiques?" ask the manager to Zahra.

"Yes Sir. I worked in a boutique for about two weeks. But I've resigned from there" replied Zahra.

"Why did you resign from there? And choose a job in a small place like this?"

Zahra smiled and replied. "For me to work anywhere that's important comfort, sir. Although my salary is good, but my heart is not comfortable working there. So I prefer to resign rather than be depressed. Not because of his hard work, but there are problems in my family. So it's a little disturbing" Zahra explained.

"It's good that way. Look, I'd like to offer to you to replace one of the employees who just had an accident. In an hour, you come to the party to deliver flowers for decoration at the birthday party. These are my regulars so I don't want to disappoint him" the manager said.

"What should I do, sir?" ask Zahra.

"You just put and arrange the flowers in the place that has been prepared. You have to finish it 1 hour before the party starts. I will send three people to accompany you there. How come? Are you ready?"

"Well sir, I am willing to have a friend" replied Zahra.

Zahra walked out of the room. Although he is not excited Zahra must still do his job well. His heart and mind were out of sync right now. So he had to use more thoughts to do the task in order to finish well.

In Other Places.

Ms. Silvi is taking her daughter-in-law to the hospital for a gynaecology check-up. Viona had a fleck last night due to stress thinking about Rizal not coming home.

"Did Mama scold Rizal? He's too much, Ma. Rizal's changed now, he's no longer listening to my words" Viona said.

"You take it easy, Mama scolded him. Maybe he's having trouble in his office. So you don't have to think strangely" replied Miss Silvi.

"Remember the doctor said, don't be too stressed. Your content has begun to grow. So it must be a lot of nutrition and also your mood must be good every day, too" he added.

Viona replied in a lethargic tone, "Yes Ma, I will try my best."

"So you still want to go to the same show Mama?"

"Yes, Ma. I'm still home. Well then we leave now," said Miss Silvi.

After that they left the hospital and went straight to somewhere. An hour later they arrived at the venue. Miss Silvi and Viona got out of the car and went inside.

Bu Silvi instantly joined his friends inside. The event was the birthday party of one of Arisan's friends Bu Silvi. Coincidentally also in the party there was Zahra who was busy arranging flowers.

Viona who did not come to chat also saw the shadow of Zahra. His emotions immediately skyrocketed, he recalled when Rizal called Zahra's name while making love to her. He growled and approached Zahra.

"Ah, I did not expect it turns out that you switched professions as a florist here. I wonder why the world is so narrow" exclaimed Viona from behind.

Zahra turned towards the voice. He looked at Viona in silence, too lazy to serve her. Then, Zahra went elsewhere to continue her duties. But, Viona was angry with it she pulled Zahra's hand violently.

"Wait, where are you going? Our business is not done."

"What's wrong? why are you still bothering me? Didn't you get everything you wanted? I don't care about any of that anymore. I've given everything to you. Please have it all, I don't care anymore. Wait, Mas Rizal divorced me then you will be the only one. No matter how you slander me, all of that cannot hide the fact that I am also pregnant with Mas Rizal's child" Zahra said.

Viona clenched both her hands. "So you're proud even though Rizal doesn't acknowledge your son. Until now he still believes that the child you bear is his son Reza. So don't be proud of yourself, Zahra."

"I'm so proud that I'm so happy with this child that I'm carrying, because it's my dream and my prayer. This child was created because of the love and affection that I shared with Mas Rizal. Distant from you who impose the will. Now that I ask you, have you got his love Mas Rizal? Has he treated you romantically and affectionately? Have you ever talked to him? I'm pretty sure you haven't felt all that. So, what are you proud of now, nothing?"

"Shut up, don't let me be rude here" cried Viona.

"Don't think I'm afraid of you, Viona. I don't lose to you, seeing Mas Reza's temperamental attitude is proof that I won. That means Mas Rizal can't live without me. Can you get the gentleness, can't you? Then, what are you arrogant about now?" yell Zahra hard.
