For Your Mother's sake, You Betrayed Me

For Your Mother's sake, You Betrayed Me
Dilemmas

A man who just came out of the doctor's office. He walked towards his wife's room, with a very lethargic look on his face. Rizal Narenda is the husband of Zahra Verlita. Rizal was very sad because his wife had just had a miscarriage.

Rizal went into his wife's room. "Darling, how are you?" rizal asked his wife who was lying weakly in a hospital bed.

"Still a little limp, Mom! You got here so fast?" replied Zahra lirih.

Zahra looked at her husband's face that looked unusual. "Why is your mom? Is there a problem? Why are you so nervous?" ask Zahra curiously.

Rizal is in a dilemma, he wants to tell his wife something. However, in his heart he did not have the heart to say it.

"Zahra, I .. I asked permission to remarry!" rizal said, staring into his wife's eyes.

Zahra was surprised he pulled her hand by reflex. His eyes were round and glazed. "What do you mean, Mom? You must be kidding, right? Don't joke like that, Mom. Your jokes aren't funny."

"I'm not kidding, Zahra. I'm telling the truth. I went to the airport to pick up Viona at Mama's request. Now she's home, and Sunday is my wedding day, Zahra."

"Mama's request was ridiculous, Mom? Do you want to obey him? Why don't you think about my feelings, Mom? I just had a miscarriage, but you've got a thought of remarrying."

Rizal is confused. He did not know how to convince his wife. Zahra cried at her husband's words. He really did not believe there would be such a day at this moment.

"I'm sorry, Zahra. I had to do this. I was forced because I also wanted to be devoted to Mama. I don't want to fight him. I beg Zahra, my blessing because my time is not much." Rizal kept begging his wife who kept crying.

"How about we split up, Mom?"

Rizal gasped in shock at the word parting from his wife's lips. "I don't want to be separated from you, Zahra. I still love you!" rizal said with both hands of Zahra.

"I need time to think, Mom! Give me some time to think about this silliness" Zahra said, turning her face away. His heart was really broken.

Rizal took a deep breath. "Alright, Zahra I will give you some time so that you can consider my intentions! You rest up!"

One day later.

Zahra was sitting pensively on her bed. Today he will return home from the hospital, but Rizal can not pick him up because there is service outside the city. Finally, Zahra returned home in a taxi.

Arriving at home, Zahra was immediately greeted by her mother-in-law who was relaxing with Viona and also her traveling companion. "Eh, the bitch has gone home. It's a pity that no one is picking me up" Ms Silvi quipped.

"Assalamualaikum, Ma!" said Zahra, she also greeted her in-laws. However, the greeting was not answered. Even the in-laws threw Zahra's hand.

"No need to make pleasantries with me. You must know the reason, right? So a useless son-in-law is still useless. Want any free kayak business. You can't get pregnant."

Zahra was silent, she stood there listening to her mother-in-law's babble. It became everyday food for him. Zahra couldn't leave, if her mother-in-law hadn't asked her to leave.

"Jeng, what do you think about having a daughter-in-law like her? Surely Jeng will all be the same, right, like me? Every day the emotions just because the daughter-in-law is not useful at all," said Bu Silvi very ketus.

Then, one of the people answered Silvi's question. "If I, yes Jeng yes, would have told my son to divorce him. Then I'll find a new wife and get her married again. Yes, I have to wait for the uncertain. Just wasting time!"

Zahra gripped her skirt tightly, she held back her tears from falling.

Miss Silvi answered her friend again. "Well, you're right, Jeng, I agree. My son-in-law must be from a respectable family. Like this Viona, she was a very beautiful, smart, and also classy woman. Unlike these humans, getting pregnant can't. So the wife is no longer confused with the status of the poor. It's a pity, why Rizal could like this kind of fucking woman!"

Miss Silvi hates Zahra so much that she doesn't shy away from humiliating her in front of everyone. "Hey why are you still standing here? There you go, it sucks. Every day is usually emotional, long can stroke me, because of you."

Zahra went upstairs to her room. Her heart was deeply broken, imagining the husband's second marriage. Arriving in the room, Zahra immediately laid her body on the mattress. She thought again about her husband's permission, who asked for his blessing.

"Hows it? What am I supposed to do? I still love Mas Rizal very much. I don't want to part from him either, which is why I've survived this long" Zahra murmured inwardly.

Shortly after, the door was knocked from the outside very hard. "Hey, come out Zahra! Hurry you out!"

Miss Silvi shouted while banging on the door. I don't know what made him angry. Zahra got up from the bed, she wanted to open the door for her in-laws.

"Well, what's wrong, Ma?" zahra asked her in-laws.

Plaque!

One hard slap landed on Zahra's right cheek. "Who do you think you are, huh? How dare you refuse Rizal's permission to remarry. You should be self-conscious, look at your position! Are you useful in this house?"

Miss Silvi gets angry and curses her daughter-in-law. Zahra could only sob lamenting her fate. Viona just looked at it with a cynical look. He had not expected to compete with a woman like Zahra.

"Look, you're usually just crying and complaining to Rizal. You're happy that Rizal is noisier and refutes me" exclaimed Miss Silvi viciously.

"I just haven't given an answer to Mas Rizal, Ma! I still need time to think" said Dinda in defense.

"What else do you want to make consideration? You should be grateful that Rizal did not divorce you. In love heart, basic son-in-law does not know themselves," said Bu Silvi by pushing slowly shoulder Zahra.

Miss Silvi left by stomping her feet. "I don't want to know, tonight you have to give an answer to Rizal. If not, then I will do everything possible to make you part with my son. Remember that!"

Zahra's body squeezed instantly, she closed the door of her room again. He leaned behind the door, then sat limp on the floor. "Mas, is there no other option for me? Why is the only way to get married again?"

Zahra continued to sob, her heart completely shattered. At nightfall, at 10 pm Rizal returned from out of town. The state of the house is deserted, Rizal went straight into the room. He saw his wife sleeping on her side.

Rizal put down his bag and approached Zahra. "Honey you're asleep" said Rizal with a hug from behind.

Zahra opened her eyes. "Not yet, I'm waiting for you to come home. How is today's work going well?"

"It's so good, sorry I couldn't pick you up from the hospital!"

Zahra shook her head and smiled. "It's okay, I can go home by myself. Oh yeah, I want to say something."

"What's? Say," said Rizal curiously.

"I ... I allow you to remarry, Mas! May my decision be the best for our relationship!" zahra said with teary eyes.

"Right, I'm so glad to hear that. Thank you Zahra for your sacrifice. I promise to be fair in the future. I love you my wife." Rizal kissed his wife's forehead gently.

"Have you prayed, honey?" rizal asked his wife.

Zahra. "No, I was deliberately waiting for you to pray together!"

"Alright, then let's pray the congregation. I'll take a shower!"

Rizal immediately rushed to take a bath, after getting permission from his wife. His heart was very relieved because Zahra had given his blessing. Unlike Zahra, he was devastated. However, he must remain sincere because he has made a decision.
