CHAPTER 8. MINOR ACCIDENT

Bima got out of the hospital with a shunt. He would go home to take a shower and go to the office. While her mother had told Joni to come to the hospital carrying her and her husband's needs while in the hospital.

The worry was obvious in his eyes. His face showed an unread expression. Plus a crumpled look because it hasn't bathed since last night.

What about Eliza? Ever since Bima left her alone last night she heard news about him. Where he's staying... Did he get into trouble.... Is she crying.... Ah, Bima felt guilty for her beloved girl.

After getting into the car, Bima grabbed the phone from inside her pants pocket. Search in the contact list, then press the phone button. Many times the call is connected but not picked up. Ah maybe Eliza's still asleep. Better to send WhatsApp chat only.

*Honey...

sorry I just called you....

papa's in the hospital.

you where??? √√

Share location yes....

Before I go to the office I go there....√√*

Bima let out a rough breath. His mind is still running. Still remembered the request he had received. How do I tell Eliza later? Ah let me think while walking.

Put his hape on the dashboard of the car. He left the hospital parking lot and drove to his own home.

❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

Eliza was lying face down in a hotel bed in half-open clothes. Last night after getting out of Bima's house, he called a friend who was often with him while in this city before he became Bima's lover. Not an ex-girlfriend, just a clubbing friend. Ask to be picked up and go together to the night club.

They had fun there, drank alcohol and jigged in the blaring disco music. Eliza forgot her frustration and did not remember Bima. He was escorted into the hotel after dawn drunk.

And until now Eliza is still in a dream. Unaware of the call in his hape already a dozen times and some chat that entered from Bima.

❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

Aisyah's semester break is over. Once in the morning after the dawn prayer he said to his father and mother to return to his boarding house in Pekanbaru.

Aisha is an independent woman. He used to ride his own bike wherever he went. Like her thing that morning, she rode her white Scoopy motorcycle at moderate speed. The journey from the village to its boarding in Pekanbaru takes almost an hour. Then there is still about 2 hours before he leaves for campus. Today is the first day of college after the holidays. He'll be in college at half ten.

Aisyah has entered Pekanbaru. He began to be careful riding his motorbike because the streets were starting to get crowded. Given that today is Monday, it is only natural that the road becomes a little jammed.

Aisha is arriving soon. Just turn left from the highway, then enter the alley and his boarding house just a few dozen meters away.

Aisha is always careful. When he was about to turn he never forgot to press the turn light. Because it was a little crowded from the opposite direction, Aisyah stopped waiting for her turn to pass. Then suddenly....

Braaaakkkkkk

"Allahu Akbar.." cried Aisyah along with her motorbike that bounced and her body that rolled to the left side of the road.

For a moment the road became jammed. The sound of the vehicle horn from the front and rear. Aisyah was not fully aware of what was going on.

Several passengers stopped and pulled themselves aside on the roadside. They tried to help Aisha stand up, parch and sit on the sidewalk. A few more people checked the Scoopy Aisyah motorbike. The front hood broke, and the handlebar tilted. The brake is sticky locking so that the motor is difficult to move. With the way it is carried out then the Aisyah motor can be removed.

Aisha saw herself. The gameplay is dirty with soil stains. His left elbow is sore, maybe a little scuffed. And his shins hurt a little.

Two men were seen knocking hard on the car glass behind him fell earlier.

Tok tok.....

Aisyah just realized, that she fell because she was hit by a car whose window glass was being knocked on by people. The car glass was open soon.

"Yes, sir, I'll drive the car for a while" said the driver.

" Buruan is down !!! don't try to run away you yeah abis bumped people !!!" shouted a man with a ferocious voice.

Some people were seen escorting the car towards the edge. They want to make sure the driver doesn't run.

The car that hit Aisyah completely pulled over. A moment later a young man got down from the car, moving towards Aisyah sitting down. Some people seemed to be blocking his collar while rebuking.

"You take a look, mas!!! Kasian's a kid you're not wrong about getting hit.... Looks tangled like this do not-don't drive while mabok ni people...."

Some people seem to be cheering.

The young man tried to explain.

"Sorry, I did not intentionally. I did not see any motor that stopped wanting to turn. I really didn't see that."

''Eat it if it's on the street look around... Don't-don't really mabok ni this guy... Call the police already....'

The young man struggled to explain again to the people gathered around him.

"I'm sorry... I really did not intentionally. I'm not drunk, you can prove myself I don't smell alcohol."

"Alaaah many aesan ni people...."

Seeing that there was going to be a commotion, Aisyah got up from her seat and approached them.

" Asalamualaikum's... Sorry, but it doesn't need to be extended. I'm all right.... Please don't bring the police, sir, mas, I'm fine... Really...."

Those who were originally rowdy fell silent. The young man approached Aisyah.

"Sir, I'm really sorry. I did not accidentally mbak, did not see the turn lights and motorbike that stopped wanting to turn in front of me."

" It's okay."

"Where are you, ma'am? Is anyone sick? Let me take it to the hospital to see a doctor."

"No need, my. I am doing well. Just a little scuff. No need to worry later to be treated at home."

The young man looked at Aisyah's motor.

"It looks like a broken engine. Let me take him to the workshop first. Coincidentally across the street there's a workshop. Let all my damage be done."

Aisha had not yet answered. The young man went to his motorbike. With the help of several people he managed to bring Scoopy Aisyah motorbike across the street. It seemed that he spoke to the owner of the workshop, then rushed back towards Aisyah.

"The motor has entered the workshop, mbak. Said his person later in the afternoon can be taken. Where's Mommy's house? Let me drive you home."

"Oh no need mas, I can take ojek only. My house is near, '" Aisyah refused.

"No papa mbak, let me just take it. All right let me know the house of Mbak to easily return the motor."

The young man forced. He opened the door beside the wheel. Aisha could not refuse.
