episode nine - Thian

            There was a sound - I heard the voice of Calista's mother talking to someone, seemed to be discussing the menu of dishes that they would cook today. Winnie looked around her, all her best friends were still fast asleep. Slowly Winnie got up from her bed and walked to the bathroom in the room to take a morning shower.

"Morning, auntie" said Winnie after finishing her bath and woke Calista up.

"Morning, Winnie. You're tidy, hungry already ? " calista's mother welcomed Winnie's greeting and asked.

"Not hungry yet, here Winnie helped cook it" Winnie volunteered to help Calista's mother who was busy in the kitchen with their housemaid.

" No need for Nie, your clothes will smell like cooking again"

" Help auntie wake Calista up "

            Calista's mother answered and advised Winnie what Winnie could do now.

" Here, Calista is bathing auntie" replied Winnie with a sweet smile to Calista's mother.

"Oooo" Calista's mother replied to Winnie's words in amazement as she would usually wake up later every Saturday.

" Here auntie, I help you cut" Winnie offered to help Calista's mother cut potatoes.

" Can you ?" ask Calista's mother to trust Winnie, because Calista's mother knows that her son's friend has never been in the kitchen. At home Winnie has several housekeepers who help Winnie's mother cook and tidy up their house.

" It could be aunty, take it easy" Winnie assured Calista's mother.

" This then, be careful with your hands yes" Calista's mother reminded Winnie as she handed her knife and potatoes.

" How are your parents ?" asked Calista's mother as soon as she finished arranging the seasoning to one of her housemaids.

"All auntie, healthy" Winnie replied and a sweet smile to Calista's mother

" Greet your mother" said Calista's mother, then joined the table where Winnie peeled off the potato skins.

"Auntie's to me"

"Morning mom"

            Widi and Calista's voices simultaneously approach Winnie and C alista's mother is.

" Morning, morning" Calista's mother replied as if the English teacher were translating the meaning of the word.

" Here I help also aunt" Widi volunteered when she saw Winnie was peeling potatoes with Calista's mother

" What cook today moms" asked Calista along with Widi .

" You've just relaxed in the park" Calista's mother advised them to relax while waiting for the morning meal to finish cooking. Ibu Calista also mentioned some of their favorite snack menu that is in the process of becoming their breakfast menu.

            They also moved from the kitchen area to the garden next to the Calista house. The garden next to the house is quite spacious because if you look again at the garden of this house around the house Calista. Due to the slight noise between Winnie, Calista, Widi and Kasih talking finally Tomi woke up and greeted them from the side door of her room, which went straight to the park where they were joking on the park chair.

" Morning, morning everyone" said Tomi while doing a little exercise to move her body.

" Morning Mr. Tomi" Calista answered and greeted the laughter of everyone in the park

" Not showered yet ?" ask for love to her

" No, I just woke up. I heard the sound of wasps gathering this morning" explained Tomi teasing the girls who were joking with a slightly loud voice so that it woke her from sleep.

" There's a bath, soon Mimi finishes the bath" explained love to Tomi

" Okay, mommy boskie" replied Tomi flipping over and into her room again.

" Let's eat it all" call Calista's mother from the side door of her kitchen.

" A moment, mimi and tomi are not complete" Calista replied, explaining to the two friends that they have not been with them.

" Mommy and Daddy are waiting in the dining room" Calista's mom said

" Eat first a mom same daddy" replied Calista again

" Okay, auntie first, everyone" replied Calista's mother before entering the kitchen again.

            Tomi finishes the shower first rather than mimi. lapse 5 minutes tomi joins them Mimi joins them as well. Their location had moved from the park to the dining table for breakfast.

            Finish their breakfast in the rain, as Calista said a few weeks ago in their group talk. City D rain more often so that the air is cooler than Jakarta. The rain broke their original plan.

            The initial plan they want to travel that has just been opened that nuanced to Korea. They finally gather in the living room where Calista's mother is knitting while Calista's father is in his study.

            Calista's mother kept busy knitting and sometimes joined in with small laughs hearing her son and friends tell stories and joke about their campus. Hearing his son and his best friend joking and telling a cheerful story Calista's father approached them from the study.

" I'm sorry om, we're interfering with your work huh ?" tomi's words were so Calista's father was in front of them.

" No, no. om, you've finished reading here" explained Calista's father kindly.

            Father and mother Calista finally excuse me, because they want to go to the home of business partner Calista's father who is having an event on that day. The rain still has not subsided and finally they decided to go to the super market xxx to buy their burnt fuel later in the afternoon.

"widi, winnie" called a man with his distinctive voice beside them.

            The name they were calling together was looking for the source of the sound. And they found the origin of the sound. A tall and rather large man beside them was smiling

"Thian "greet them after finding out who called them turned out to be their college friend Thian.

" It was at his house" replied Winnie who meant the house was their shared boarding place.

" Who are you here with ?" ask Winnie again

" I came here myself "After Thian answered and explained Thian in this D town because his parents were on vacation there from the S town where Thian was from. In the city of D is the residence of aunty Thian lived after marriage. They split up after introducing their friend Thian.

" The handsome nie your friend" Calista whispered to Winnie who was walking alone in the market aisle.

" Want to ask for her phone number ?" god Winnie saw Calista was a little interested in Thian

" That's proof that Nie knows Thian doesn't have a boyfriend yet" Calista answered covering up the embarrassment on her face

" The Nie if you like Thian must have been from the beginning of acquaintance I know" explained Widi

" Is there anyone here?" ask someone to Winnie while pointing at the empty left side chair

" There should be" replied Winnie, as Winnie prepared the chair for the farmer who was almost late to go to college.

"I'm here, yeah" the guy didn't listen to what Winnie said before

"Later, if my friend comes you move yes" Winnie finally replied while telling me if the owner of the place came she had to move

" Okay" the man replied briefly

" Hi Thian" said Joe as soon as he got to class and sat behind them

" Hey Joe, the tumben is sitting in the back" replied the man called Thian.

" Yes, tired of sitting in front" Joe replied with a laugh

" Where are Sandy and January?" ask Thian because of Joe himself

" Oh, Sandy's going to the toilet. Si Jan was getting a call from her mom up front" Joe explained

" Hi Thian" Sandy patted Thian on the shoulder as she entered the classroom and stood near them

" I thought you were different from Joe's class" Thian explained as soon as Sandy sat facing Thian and Joe shifted to sit behind Winnie

" You know Winnie ?" sandy asked, pointing at Winnie, who was sitting next to Thian, still facing forward while playing her phone.

" Just now" Thian replied smiling

" Nie, get to know this Thian" call Sandy

" Hi "greet Winnie finally turned her body sitting opposite Joe

" It's Widi" Sandy pointed at Widi who was called not answering because she was listening to music using earphones.

            Winnie striking Widi's waist, finally new widi joined in the world they previously still in his own world.

" It's Thian knows it" Sandy repeated the sentence

" Hi Thian" said Widi

            They finally talked about the lecturer of the class, who was famous killer in the eyes of all the senior brothers who had been taught the lecturer. And Winnie and Widi finally find out that Joe and the others are in one place with Thian. They're in the same boarding place. Joe and his friends did live at the boarding house during college because their house was in the city of M far from Jakarta where their campus was located.

            Just like Thian whose parents live far away in other cities not near the campus so that Thian chose a boarding house to study.

" That's enough" Calista replied

" Yuk we wait ahead there" Mimi pulled Winnie and Widi's hand and invited Calista along.

            Because cashier payments are quite crowded, they can not participate compact the pay line.

" We wait there yeah" wwnnie pointed to the front of the cashier in the line of Love waiting for payment

" Okay" replied Tomi

" You're with them only" Tomi suggested Love

" It's okay that I accompany you here" explained Kasih
