Episode 35 - Consecration of Men

            The coffee in front of them was only half a glass, only Tani and Thian had finished coffee . Joe and Winnie come to them who are joking in the corner of the cafe.

" We are still part of the dinnier" Joe explained, seeing the clock on his wrist as he stood before them all.

" Yuk, we're buying a drink first" Winnie poked Joe's hand next to her

" Ooo, okay, put a bag of ya friends" Joe put his bag and Winnie's bag on their table

" Have they been ?" tanya Thian is still following the development of Joe and Winnie's relationship.  After the incident between her and Winnie in their previous vacation villa.

             Thian saw the two friends step away from them, they looked closer than before yesterday's campus vacation and time at the villa. Did Joe reveal his feelings to Winnie after what I told Joe ? once inwardly Thian kept his eyes fixed on the two friends who were waiting in line for their turn to be served in the front row to order their coffee.

                 Two days after they returned home from the villa, and Thian was able to finish the turmoil of his heart after being rejected by Winnie, Thian had a chance to chat with Joe. Precisely when they were relaxing at their boarding house, and Joe had returned home from his private teaching place.

" Have you gone home ?" tanya Thian after entering the boarding house carrying a packet of snacks in hand

" Now have you eaten ?" joe asked, looking at the package in Thian's hand.

" Just now, I have an afternoon snack if I can not go out again lazy to eat alone" explained Thian while showing the package in his hand.

" Once we eat together, aja january and Sandy also tuh" Joe gave an idea

" Well, let's go to our usual place, yes "obviously Thian and sit on the front seat of the terrace between Joe's and January's rooms and fad knock on the door of the closed January room.

" The Jan sleeps like, this morning I went to see you just coming home from his house om "clearly Joe saw Thian's hand knocking on the door of his room in January

" Sandy's on top ?" joe asked this 'cause they were neighbors in his bedroom door.

" Again playing this game" explained Thian with his hands attached to his ears showing Sandy using earphones.

" Want to eat again ?" Joe sat in a chair next to Thian by opening the rice package he bought after returning home to teach private.

" Not ah full "

" Want an extra snack "Thian put his snack on the table next to Joe's dinner plate.

" Not this is enough"

" I expressed my feelings to Winnie yesterday" explained Thian so leaned her seat deeper in her seat.

" Then ?" Joe stops eating with mixed feelings and his hunger disappears instantly hearing the thian talk.

" The result is you see for yourself" Thian still feels a little sad and hesitant to tell the results to Joe because he is still worried about supporting Joe or he still wants to try to hold Winnie next again.

" I mean ?" Joe continued to explain the unclear results

" You can't digest ya ?" obviously Thian made a difficult answer in Joe's digest, Thian only realized that Joe stopped his lunch and showed a tense face next to him. because he saw the behavior of his friend and felt sorry finally, this explained.

             That Winnie had turned him down and as discussed with Winnie at the time was also retold to Joe detail with what he asked Winnie and what was in winnie answered him when it happened.  Joe hears the story in detail and slowly turns Joe's face to calm and happy direction once Thian feels from the sight of his eyes.

" It's so detailed" Thian's final sentence tells Joe and Joe to start pulling the food plate and start lunching again.

" O....., so now how are you feeling ?" joe asked, bribing his mouth with his lunch.

" It's not asking how I feel, it's how you feel and what else your plan is" Thian made Joe's face wrinkle

" My feelings ? my plan ?" ask Joe

" Yes your feeling for Winnie, has it been steady yet ? and what are your plans to express your feelings ?" obviously Thian to joe while looking at his friend deeply.

" This time it was only me who expressed feelings to Winnie, and was rejected and I told it to you " explains Thian

" You don't think if there are other students who express their feelings to Winnie, you continue to not know the person and continue to pursue it until later Winnie also falls in love with the person. How ?" tanya Thian slightly frightened Joe and gave her a look. Joe continued to eat without saying just like thinking something heavy was painted on his face

" How did Rudy's leg reveal feelings to Winnie ? " Thian said again while revealing what was on his mind.

" I was waiting for the right time to reveal it too" explained Joe briefly and continued to feed his lunch menu to his own mouth.

" Let's not wait too long for the right time and you think " explains Thian

" Then you want to move directly to another heart ?" joe asks Thian to find out how Thian feels about Winnie right now. Because honest in joe's mind before Thian was still worried before between Winnie and Calista so Joe's view of Thian.  That's also what makes Joe's heart pound as soon as hearing this reveals the feeling first to winnie.

             In the mind of Joe who will attack Winnie first must be Sandy who is very bright - light likes Winnie and often times remind Joe that he also likes Winnie like himself to Winnie.  But in reality even Thian first forward expressed his feelings to Winnie . Something far from a fad in Joe's brain.

" Calista is also beautiful and kind, a cook again" Joe gives input to thian while tidying up his finished lunch.

" Why ? are you afraid to compete with me ?" Thian has been able to neutralize his feelings and back tease Joe.

" No.. no.." replied Joe and waved quickly.

" Haha, let's compete sportively with Sandy as well" Thian continued to start fishing Joe.

" Sandy already knew you were rejected winnie ?" ask Joe again

" No, I just told this to the rest of you yet, but don't know who Winnie told the girls" Thian explained again

" Winnie wasn't a person who would easily tell someone else something bad "Joe told Thian.

" You already know each other's nature, what are you waiting for ?" asked Thian again to Joe while his hand opened the soft drink he bought earlier.

" I told you to wait for the right timing" explained Joe while walking to the laundry place of the boarding plate on the side of the front wall of the most corner boarding room after the January room. Conveniently with joe washing his dinner plates, the door to his room opened in January.

" You are very noisy" explained January standing in front of the door of his boarding room while stretching his body,

" We talked in a small voice earlier and see now what time it is" explained Thian as he pointed the arm with his watch in front of January.

" Yes, I've just finished lunch" explained Joe sitting back next to Thian sitting down.

" Have you eaten? well, it's one o'clock in the afternoon" explained January a little surprised to see the clock in Thian's hand.

" I want to take sandy to buy lunch" explained January while sending a message via mobile phone to Sandy, they realize Sandy is in her room but will surely get tired of calling her from their place if Sandy is busy with her games they scream as loud as anything Sandy won't hear.

" Come, now I'm hungry too" explained Sandy who had come down from her room and out of the game world.

 " Would you be hungry too?" tanya Thian teased

" Am I a robot no hunger ? the robot should only be charged after how long it is used" explained Sandy and laughed lightly.

             January and Sandy go out of their sight after offering to go together for lunch, and Joe and Thian explain they had lunch first. without waiting for a long time the two friends went for lunch they stayed Joe and Thian again both sat in their boarding room.

" What are you waiting for ?" ask Thian again to Joe once they stay together again.

" I'm still researching, Thian. researching my own heart and researching Winnie's heart" Joe explained.

" How did you examine Winnie's heart ? " Thian couldn't understand Joe's way of thinking, researching what. They are always together and almost their old friends know Winnie and Joe like each other. Even among his friends may have thought they were dating if in view of them. Because of their closeness and attitude on campus.

" I'm also researching my own heart" Joe said floatingly, remembering Winnie and Joe are now very close and familiar

" If I'm rejected how is our friendship ?" joe asked again to reveal his thoughts and fears

" Now we are comfortable with the gini situation better" explained Joe again

" But you kind of hang winnie's feelings as well with your actions now" explains Thian.

" Winnie now says she likes you too and can wait for you to reveal your feelings but if you take too long and Rudy's feet reveal feelings too how ?" ask Thian again

" That's what I'm thinking too "Joe replied and taking a deep breath like he was under a lot of pressure inside him made it hard for him to breathe a sigh of relief.

" To be sure, I suggest you quickly think and act before you'll be the title of the movie girlfriend miss the train" explains Thian and a small smile at Joe. And it's hard to understand Joe's way of thinking that is too complicated for the minds of today's young people who are fast paced and do not want to lose the exile that is in front of his eyes.
