Betrayal
Episode 35's
Bella arrives at the hospital with Abizar, the baby is not at all fussy as if understanding the state of his mother who is sick. Bella went straight to the room where Widya was being treated. As he entered he saw Widya daydreaming, his mind was blank and tears were flowing. Bella was very sorry to see him, while she remembered Ari's words earlier. Ari could have said that when his wife desperately needed his support.
"Good morning, Mama!" bella imitates the voice of a child.
Widya turned to the door and saw Bella coming with her son, a smile imprinted on her pale lips. Widya spread her arms to welcome her son, Widya looks a little excited when welcoming Abidzar.
"Well mom's boy is gleeful! Is it the same mom? Uh honey..." Widya repeatedly kissed Abizar on the cheek and the baby chuckled a little because it was amused.
Bella was happy to see Widya smiling like that, Maybe Widya looks selfish when she prefers to keep working rather than taking care of children but behind that Widya is a mother who still cares about and cares about her baby even though through a video call connection.
"How's Mom doing? Is it much better?" ask Bella while removing the contents of the bushel she brought.
"As you can see, Bella, I was sentenced to be paralyzed and unable to walk anymore and maybe I could no longer do the work at home.. I'm no longer useful now" Widya said.
"Mother must not speak like that, I must be eager to heal at least for the sake of Abizar.. She still needs Mom" Bella said.
"How can I take care of Abizar with the condition of my legs that can not walk like this? Abizar would be ashamed to have a crippled mother like me!" Widya cried sobbing hugging the child.
"Don't be that pessimistic, ma'am.. Abizar will grow up to be a good boy, he will definitely be a protector for Mom later.. You have to be excited!" said Bella.
Widya nodded at Bella's words, at least her heart was a little comforted because there were still people who cared about her even though it was just Bella who incidentally was her child's babysitter. Widya has no close friends anymore, even after her condition like this all her colleagues and office friends cut off contact with her. Moreover, her own birth mother did not visit her at all even though Widya was like that because of her mother's actions.
Bella feeds Widya to want to eat, Bella knows that Widia does not want to eat hospital food so she brings provisions from home. Fortunately Abizar is not the fussy type of baby so he can still be fed formula while Widya is still lying in the hospital.
"Mom, maybe after Mom came home from the hospital I was allowed to go home.. But later I will ask the agency to find my replacement," said Bella after finishing feeding Widya.
"If you just go home, why find a replacement, Bel? How long are you going to go home?" ask Widya.
"I can't be sure, Mom.. So I wanted to find a replacement to help my mother at home.. In the village my parents are sick again, Mom.. So I have to go home, " said Bella.
Bella actually lied to Widya, not that it was actually Bella's reason for leaving the house.
