The fatal mistake

Edrea teleported from the Hospital to a field-like place she had seen when Edrea collapsed earlier in the Hospital, Edrea let out a long sigh when she saw the vast expanse of field presented as far as the eye could see. Edrea then gazed around every area of the field looking for Sari's whereabouts on the field and her gaze stalled on a finish line where Sari was seen squatting there while staring the finish line with a sad look.

Edrea moved her legs closer towards Sari then crouched down next to the girl and looked at her with an indescribable gaze, making Sari who realized the presence of Edrea then turned to her and smiled. Seeing that smile there was a strange feeling that enveloped Edrea's heart because of the change in attitude shown by Sari's spirit.
