Alzent and the five disciples had already exchanged moves more than 100 times, but Alzent was still able to survive without any intention of harming them, whereas they were increasingly desperate to kill Alzent.
"Can you please stop? I really don't want to hurt you" Alzent said, avoiding the lightning strike and the sharp wind.
"Then die for us!"
Alzent tried his hardest to dodge each strike while slashing the fire magic that kept darting towards him without stopping.
The arena has now been out of shape hence, it would certainly take a lot of ordinary to repair the arena, but if the head of Alzent can be a display, at least it's a fair price, thought their principal.
Alzent really did not understand the reason he was so hated within the Academy, whether it was by his students or teachers. Alzent never made mistakes, always got good grades in theory and never returned bad deeds to him.
"Actually what have I done that you guys really hate me!?" alzent shouted unable to contain his feelings "I apologize if anything"
The leader of the 5th disciple replied "You are actually a diligent and good student of Alzent, unfortunately your existence is damaging the image of this Academy. We don't need your apology, all we need is your life"
Over the next few minutes, Alzent continued to dodge their attacks until a girl from their group, falling exhausted unable to let out any more mana.
"Ashley! Get up, he's alive!" orders of their leaders. With great difficulty the girl named Ashley got up to her feet, gathering a large amount of mana and releasing it towards Alzent.
Alzent felt sorry for the girl, so he deliberately crashed himself into the fireball and was thrown far back. Of course, Alzent did it to look like an accident so that no one realized his true intentions except for the girl named Ashley who immediately smiled gently at Alzent and was reciprocated with a nod.
"Good job Ashley, you can rest now. Others, we should keep trying to take Alzent's head. If we win, maybe we will be promoted to a member of The Legion" said the leader, gathering his mana, directing both hands over "Violet Thunderain!"
Just above the battle arena, a storm cloud formed carrying strong winds and purplish lightning that continued to strike relentlessly.
"Flaming Bursts!" sahut a girl with fire elements other than Ashley who because of her magic makes it difficult for Alzent to avoid lightning strikes, as well as having to avoid fire that gushes from below.
The other two members did not remain silent. They begin to bring out their respective styles that are considered great for other humans but look like child magic in Alzent's eyes.
"Please stop, we can solve this together, there's no need to use force" Alzent explained.
"Shut your mouth, Alzent. There's no such thing as a way of negotiation, your life is the key to getting our lives all back to peace!"
Alzent could not escape or attack the leader about Ashley who just happened to return from rest. Instead, Alzent was hit by a fairly high electrical attack while being showered with lightning and plus a fire attack from the previous girl.
"You're okay, aren't you?" ask Alzent to Ashley.
The girl nodded softly "Thank you for protecting me. I'm really sorry it had to be like this, I'll try to stop it in return"
Alzent shook his head "No need, we should indeed live each other's help. Consider it a reply because you're so cute"
Ashley's face flushed red, then returned into the resting room. There, he sat down while re-imagining Alzent who was valiantly protecting himself, with her beautiful and sharp eyes.
Back in the arena, Alzent was now completely cornered, unable to dodge much more. If killing is not prohibited by law.
"Please, I beg you to stop" Pinta Alzent said.
"Stop this right now!" the voice of a woman was so loud.
Above the arena, a woman in her 20s, floated with several people. On their shoulders was the dragon's head. They descended around Alzent and created a dome-shaped protective barrier.
The headmaster and several teachers with important positions came down to the arena, kneeling before the woman "Welcome to the Academy, princess Claire" the headmaster said.
"Quite the bases, answer my question. What have you done to the Academy?" the princess asked, as soon as each guard took out their weapons. The teachers had understood what he meant, but still refused to speak because if the princess knew they had broken the holy due rule, their heads could be separated from the body without their even knowing it.
The princess coded one of her guards who unhesitatingly slashed the neck of one of the teachers until her blood splashed everywhere, making the headmaster even more panicked.
"Alright if that's what you want" said the princess after waiting for a few seconds "School principal Eron, we've been overseeing the course of the Academy for the past few years. What we hope is that when we give you that trust, this Academy can be much better than it is now. But you abused that power, teaching the students that strength is first, a grave offense to the Academy. You should've known about that, right?"
The headmaster clenched his hand "Master princess, we don't need someone as weak as Alzent! Someone who can't even use magic! His presence would only ruin the image of the Academy!" martial the headmaster.
The princess smiled "Are you blind? Someone like Alzent who was able to defeat Gerald relied solely on physical strength, not having the slightest strength?"
"He must have used some kind of dark science, forbidden magic that made him even stronger!" headmaster.
"Oh? Didn't you just say that Alzent can't use magic in the slightest but now can use forbidden magic? Does that make sense?"
"But..
The princess ordered her guards to immediately kill the teachers as well as the school heads "Bringing the rules of the holy duel also includes high-level violations, what is really inside the heads of these people?"
Then the barrier around Alzent disappeared, the princess stepped closer, with an intimidating gaze commanding "Alzent, at my command, I ask you to show your true figure"
"What does that mean? This is the real me" replied Alzent.
The princess coded one of her bodyguards again. Not long ago Lisa was brought before the princess with both hands tied behind "You two are so close, aren't you?" the princess stepped around Lisa, groping her neck "Of course you care about her, don't you?" Grip Lisa's neck "Immediately show your true form or" the grip is getting stronger.
"Al..zent, jan. gan.." Lisa's stammering pinta.
"Please let him go, he has absolutely nothing to do" but the princess strengthened her grip to make something inside Alzent begin to rise "Please, princess"
"Do it or I kill him"
Alzent's left eye turned blood red, the veins on each of his left body began to emit an orange glow "You all run!" sahut Alzent warned before finally there was an explosion of red-dark energy and an aura that was so gripping spread throughout the entire arena that everyone was unable to move at all.
The wind blew slowly, slowly blowing away the dust. Alzent stepped closer to the princess, she still looked the same as before, but such a sharp and intimidating gaze made anyone who saw her unable to move in place even faint. A red-black aura was seen around Alzent's body "I've been begging you, but still I've always been ignored" Alzent's voice sounded so inhumane, as if mixed with a voice from another world, as if it were, such a horrible sound.
The princess guards immediately took out their protective barrier while taking the princess and Lisa to safety. The remaining ones will try to appease Alzent.
"What have I done to all of you to receive ill treatment? I've never even retorted your actions, I always reply with a smile, but you retaliate with evil" Alzent said slowly, but everyone in the arena could hear him very clearly.
"I've always believed that you're good people. I believe one day you will change, unfortunately until now I have not seen anything change. I hope you don't regret what you did"
