The Love of Nava
First Meeting
The weekend will arrive later. The bright morning atmosphere adds to the spirit of Nava starting the day. Nava seemed busy choosing the clothes she was going to wear. Nava was eager to build a good impression at the first meeting with Doni's parents. After sorting out what clothes he would wear, Nava finally found the clothes that felt perfect for him. Nava then rushed to prepare while waiting for the arrival of her lover at home.
The time shows at 09.30 WITA, Doni has been in front of Nava's house. Like Nava, Doni also felt excited this morning. One of the moments that he will soon materialize, introducing his heart lover to his parents.
Tok tok tok tok
There was a sound from the main door, Nava who had just finished her makeup and rushed out of the room.
Doni who was knocking and waiting at the door soon saw his lover come out. While staring at the watch on his left arm Doni asked Nava to prepare.
"Honey you're done, let's not bad luck. "Kata Doni
"Yes I'm ready, and then I take the bag first keep us going". Answer Nava
Nava then went back into her room, trying to tidy up her clothes and hijab. Take the bag and go out to see his girlfriend.
"Let's go, baby, I'm done." Nava
"Where are your mom and dad? We're not gonna let you go first?" Ask Doni
"Hmmm yes I forgot to tell you, today Mama and Papa I again returned to the village. But I told you if I wanted to walk today." Answer Nava
"Oh that, yeah, that's the way, baby." Close Doni
They rushed to Doni's motorcycle, preparing to travel far enough. Doni House is in one of the sub-districts in B***, only to be there takes about one and a half hours from the city center. After wearing a helmet and jacket they went to Doni's house.
Nava is very happy to meet Doni's parents, but also there is fear and worry terbesit in his heart, Nava is afraid what if parents Doni does not like it.
Along the way Doni and Nava seemed to enjoy the scenery presented by nature. The wide paddy field, the mountain planted with trees, the winding streets, the cool air, is indeed a pleasure from God that is so perfect.
The pair of lovers looked full of smiles, occasional joking words from both. Time passed because lulled with their togetherness did not feel that long journey was too short for both of them. Doni and Nava have now reached their destination. Nava's feelings become increasingly irregular, there is a sense of excitement and fear mixed into one. Doni who saw his lover's worries then tried to calm him.
"Honey it's so tense, just relax, Mom and Dad I must like you anyway." Doni
Nava who heard her lover's words could only reply with a smile. After parking his motorcycle, Doni walked first leading the way for Nava towards his home.
From Doni's house, the father was sitting on the porch of his house. From a distance he saw his son coming. Doni got closer and arrived in front of the porch of his house, then said hello when he saw the father.
"Assalamualaikum Yah" said Doni
"Waalaikum salam, alhamdulillah nyampe home also you want" replied Doni's father.
"Well this is a close friend of Doni's name is Nava" said Doni
Nava, who had been standing behind Doni and then stepped forward to approach his lover's father, reached out and shook Doni's father's hand while kissing the back of his hand.
"Include me Nava om" said Nava while giving his best smile.
"Yes, please come in. Doni's mom is waiting inside."Answer Doni's Father.
The two of them stepped inside the house. From the living room they were greeted by her lover's mother. Doni introduces Nava to her mother, and Nava approaches her, shaking hands and kissing the back of her lover's mother's hand.
From Nava's view, Doni's mother was a very friendly, gentle and patient-looking mother. Nava also felt a little relieved because her lover's parents looked very open to accept her arrival.
Doni, Nava and Dad were sitting in the living room, while Doni's mother was preparing snacks and warm tea to serve. Mom Nava came out of the kitchen with a tray to serve at the table.
Doni's mother invited Nava to taste the food and drinks served.
"Please eat first, your journey is quite far, must be tiring" said Mother Doni
They talked together in the room. Doni's father, who was quite quiet, only asked Nava a few short questions. Not long ago Doni's father who was about to rest for a while in his room also asked Doni, Nava and his mother to continue their conversation.
"Yes you guys just continue the chat, I went into the room first rest ya." Said Doni's father as he left his seat
Soon Doni left Nava with his mother in the living room because he was going to the bathroom
"I went to the bathroom first, baby, you talked to me first." Doni said, then rushed to the bathroom
Stay with Doni's mother in the living room. Nava tries to open the conversation by telling him about Doni's habits.
"Mom, Doni really likes to play ball huh? He used to talk a lot about him playing ball." Nava said starting the conversation
"Yes son, it has been a hobby for him since. His brothers also love to play ball. So sometimes the four of them play together." Answer Doni's Mother
"What an exclamation, too, ma'am, can see all the children of mothers playing together." Ask Nava again
"Yes son, they play ball together often." Mother Doni replied as she carved a smile on her face.
In the middle of their conversation Doni came and sat beside his mother.
"Obrolin what the hell? I have a smile" said Doni
"We're talking about your hobbies that love to play ball." Nava replied with a smile looking at her lover. Doni's mother who saw the behavior of the two of them also smiled.
"Oh yeah, you want to go to Arlin's house? The house is close to here. Let's get in touch." Ask Doni.
"Hmmm, let's go if that's it."Answer Nava
"Yes, ma'am, I'm with Nava to Arlin's brother's house first." Say Doni again
Doni's mother also agreed to the words of her son.
Doni and Arlin's house are pretty close. So it is possible for the two of them to walk to the house of brother Arlin, cousin of Doni.
It was only about three minutes that they arrived at Arlin's house. Doni who had already considered Arlin as his own brother without waiting for the house to invite him in, just keep moving his legs. After saying a stale greeting without further ado, he rushed towards the living room. Of course Nava just followed walking behind his lover.
Arlin's sister comes out of the kitchen, and for the first time Nava and Arlin meet in person. They shook hands with each other and Arlin invited the two to sit down.
"Where is the trip fun?" Ask Arlin
"Seru kok kak, not because it's already nyampe, because along the way the scenery is very beautiful." Nava
"Oh, have you met Doni's mom and dad? How did it feel to meet him?" Ask Arlin again.
"Yes already brother, was talking about his father and his mother Doni. Thank God they accepted my arrival well sis." Nava replied with a shy smile towards Arlin.
Doni who was among them, only listened to the conversation of the two.
"Do you know Nav?" Arlin said again
"I'm sorry brother I can't. insya Allah next time brother". Answer Nava
"It's okay to wait." replied Arlin.
