The End of Forced Marriage
Matchmaking

As per his nod to his master's people who agreed to go home on time to the house after the time of returning from the office, Yudha now sits quietly in the living room and occasionally sips sweet tea with her father and mother.

"Yudh, what about your employees? Can everything be easily arranged?" tanya Fendo begins the conversation.

"Good, Pah. It's just that yesterday there was a problem with HR 1, and now it's resolved." Hearing Yudha's reply, Fendo and Ranty exchanged glances. They had not found the first sentence to talk about their plan.

"E, Yudh, tomorrow there is Mr. Ketut visiting this house with his family" said Ranty finally.

"Ehm, okay. That's good news. What time will they come? I'll be home early then" replied Yudha.

"Ah, they'll be here at night. Maybe around 7" said Fendo.

"All right, I'll be home by 4 p.m. After returning I want to rest first so as not to get sleepy when meeting Mr. Ketut," explained Yudha.

"Yes, that's good, and there's actually something Papah wants to say again."

"What is that, Pah?" asked Yudha slightly raising her eyebrows.

"Have you ever met Mr Ketut's son?" ask Fendo again.

"Of course, his name is I Made Juna Arsana" Yudha replied.

"E, no, the female, Yudh," Ranty denied and gave the grating as well.

"That's, I don't know" said Yudha.

"I Made has a younger sister, her name is Willow. Mamah forgot her long name, which must be kind and polite," Ranty said carefully to keep the atmosphere warm.

"Oh, that's good, nowadays manners are rarely owned by young people even parents, who should set an example. Mr. Ketut managed to educate his children. I Made too, has a character full of decency," explained Yudha. Fendo and Ranty once again exchanged glances, this time coupled with a faint smile. They were happy to hear Yudha's praise of Willow. That means he will easily accept their plans.

"E, thank goodness you can see their attitude well, Yudh. So because of that, Papah's getting excited to tell you."

"Tell me, ' said Yudha.

"Last noon Papah and Mr. Ketut met and we discussed you. In essence, Papah is very eager for you to match Willow, the son of Mr. Ketut," explained Fendo very carefully, Yudha who heard him staring fixedly at his father.

"You mean Papah wants me to marry Mr Ketut's son?" yudha asked, rounding his eyes. He was quite surprised to hear his father's statement, and he wanted all to just misunderstand or maybe mishear.

"Yes, Yudh. Mamah and Papah want you to love each other like Mamah and Papah now" Ranty said, confirming Yudha's question.

"Yudh, Papah is worried about your stance. Papah and Mamah do not want if you are not married until old age. Like Papah and Mamah, Yudh. Papah has a brother but they finally have a new family, if Papah had not married Mamahmu, Papah would not have known who he was with. It will also make Papah feel lonely throughout the life of Papah, Yudha. Papah no longer lives with Papah's parents and so does Mamahmu. One day the child or parent will leave each other, our brother will leave us, but your partner will be with you. Unless you or your partner is separated from your body, then two real ties will be broken as well" explained Fendo at length giving advice to Yudha.

"But what if I make someone suffer? I can't love him" Yudha insisted.

"Love is special, it cannot be expected to come when or vice versa, Yudh," continued Ranty

"Well, Pah, I'm home" Calis's fight came on suddenly, and certainly shocked both her parents and her brother who were staring at her as flat as ever.

"Yes, if you haven't had dinner yet, eat it yourself, yeah," Ranty said.

"No ah, I want to gather here as well," Calis said as he threw his butt on the sofa. Everyone just kept quiet watching him.

"Yudh, Papah wants you to obey the will of your parents" continued Fendo pleading.

"Alright, I follow that," said Yudha making her father and mother smile wide at each other. While Calis was only silent while scrunched his forehead because he did not understand.

While at Willow's house, Ketut and his wife also try to convince Willow to be the wife of their co-worker, namely, Fendo.

"No! Will doesn't want to, Pi! Will wants to learn. Will is married to a man that Will doesn't even know. Mami and Papi used to love each other before you got married, then why would you want to make Will's life like a bird in a cage. Will's been trying to be an accomplished kid since elementary school. But, you guys could just ruin Will's fight and big dream!" Willow was devastated by the will of his parents. He really wants to make a career and not get married.

"Let down your voice, Will!" mitha snapped at her daughter. Willow let out a long sigh, holding back his emotions.

"Will wants to learn and be a tough woman, not inferior to men. Willow isn't married yet" said Willow, who can set the tone for his voice.

"Will, you can still continue your studies. Yudha must have let you go to college" I Made told his sister.

"But Will's freedom? Who will be responsible with that after this marriage happens! Brother, huh? Who will be responsible if Will's husband treats Will badly? Marriage is not for one or two months. If Will gets divorced Will will be widowed and ...."

"Enough, Will! Don't think us stupid so you have to teach us. We are the ones who have lived you for 21 years. So, Papi and Mammu are certainly able to judge which is good for you. And the problem of divorce, Papi doesn't want that. Papi wants to marry you once in a lifetime. You should know, not only because of the problem of being betrothed if there is a married couple separated, but many things. Whether it is because of the element of infidelity, KDRT, or so forth. All of that already has a destiny of each," explained Ketut gave advice to his son. Willow who had been holding back from crying, now finally the tears came out of his eyes.

"Alright, set my life. Just set! My body and soul are not mine. I actually have nothing" Willow said as he sobbed.

"It's not like that, Will. You are still you and all you have now is yours. We as parents just want what's best for you, son," Mitha said.
