Stone Miners

Stone Miners
Eps. 06 First weakness

The time shows at 13:30 after the lecture finishes Tia and Faiz are seen walking together towards the parking lot

"where are you going?" Faiz.

Tia did not answer just continuing her steps.

"Good here with me" Faiz said, patting his motorcycle saddle.

"It can be crazy of me all the way with you," Tia muttered inwardly.

"I want to bring my own bike" Tia.

"outside jammed. You're just gonna hinder the journey" Faiz

"Then you go alone" threatened Tia.

"Alright," Faiz replied annoyedly and then rode his bike at moderate speed.

Tia followed closely behind and smiled with satisfaction as she managed to upset Faiz. Occasionally Faiz looked at the rearview mirror to make sure that the girl was behind him.

The scorching sun and vehicle fumes make the temperature during the day more stinging like burning skin plus congestion on the Bayur Bay street ready to welcome.

Suddenly Faiz pulled over in front of a house.

"What's wrong?" Tia wonder.

"You're too soft," Faiz

"Don't just follow you" Tia protested inwardly

"Look at the front of the traffic jam, if like this we can get there too late in the afternoon," Faiz said, pointing to the traffic jam at the crossroads.

"Then you mean?" Tia's.

Faiz immediately took the key of Tia's motorbike and gave a signal to quickly ride on his motorbike.

"Wait for what else? come fast!" faiz said but Tia did not budge.

"Cih stubborn base" in Faiz's heart.

"You want the lab to close and we don't have time to pick up tools for field practice?" Faiz. Finally, without speaking, he followed Faiz's words with an impassive face.

Faiz slipped among hundreds of time-hunting vehicles so that it was not too late to borrow a field practice tool in lieu of a broken tool in his laboratory.

"Handle! You're not afraid of falling?" faiz said astonished because Tia did not touch him at all and chose to hold on to the motor stirrup.

"This is not at all scary," Tia replied in a haughty tone.

Faizpun further increased his speed and slipped here and there like a person who had nine lives, but Tia still looked relaxed and gave a mocking smile through the rearview mirror.

Until they arrive in front of the intended campus junction. As soon as Faiz turned his bike left to get into the gate, suddenly Tia held tightly onto Faiz's jacket

"Ah, no," Tia immediately let go of her hand and held back the stirrup of the motor.

"Please don't let her know," Tia pleaded inwardly.

As soon as Faiz turned the bike again to the right, again Tia's hand grabbed Faiz's jacket and then released it quickly.

"Oh don't-don't..." Faiz laughed cunningly as if knowing what scared Tia.

"Ahead there are still a few turns before we get there. Feel this" Faiz murmured inwardly, only the sound of his laughter was heard by Tia.

"Death to me it seems like she's conscious," Tia thought.

He did not care about anything, he closed his eyes and tightly hugged Faiz's body as the man deflected the motor at such high speed that their knees almost touched the asphalt. The tighter Tia hugged her then Faiz's laughter also grew louder.

"You looking for a chance, huh? we've arrived." Faiz was still smiling with satisfaction.

There was no answer from behind only Tia's embrace began to sag. Faiz turned around and was shocked to find Tia's pale face.

Tia got off the motor without a word only a sigh of relief could be heard.

The two entered the lab with their lips tightly locked.

"Fine sir thank you very much" said Tia before leaving the room while carrying the tool they had borrowed earlier.

"Tia" Faiz tried to break the silence but Tia was still a thousand languages silent

"So he said he wasn't afraid" Faiz said, trying to cover up his guilt.

"Let's get on!" Faiz pulled Tia's hand but was immediately brushed aside.

"How's this? I have to hug her again" Tia thought as she moved up the bike

"Don't think you'd hug me againwell" Faiz said teasingly. Shamed Tia hit Faiz's helmet to stop him from talking.

"Hand!" Faiz started playing his gas motor.

"Quick grip. Otherwise I'd be cornering sharply in front" Faiz threatened.

Immediately Tia placed her hand on Faiz's waist and grabbed her jacket.

"I hope he keeps his word" Tia murmured inwardly.

Faiz was really riding his bike at a speed of 40 km/h so when turning Tia did not feel afraid anymore. Along the way they spoke only a thousand languages, only the noise of vehicles breaking the traffic jam until they arrived at the Tia boarding house
