Prologues

My name is Karina Susilawati, after graduating from school I worked in a famous boutique company in Jakarta.

A relatively young age, when my friends continued school to a higher level. I chose to work, to help my mother's economy.

Because I could not bear to see my mother, who was sick had to sell rice every morning.

My mom started selling nasi uduk, when my dad left five years ago. From then on, she struggled to support our needs as well as my school.

I have two older sisters, the first one named Surgeon and the second one named Diana. The two had a family, and followed their husbands.

Unfortunately, none of them can help our economy.

They come home, only when there is a need. Moreover, Surgeon is my first brother, who has material advantages. But never looked at my mother, even though the distance of our house is only different city. Just come, on a feast day.

As for Diana, it only came at a time when she needed money. But she loved helping my mother, and stayed a few days at home.

I'm so happy to be accepted to work in a famous boutique. At first I felt inferior, because my face was ugly with a fat body. But because the employees at my place of work did not look at my appearance, it made me feel at home working there.

When I started working, there was a handsome man named Rudi Hartadi trying to get close to me.

I was a fool, and many neighbors made fun of me. They can't believe I'm dating Rudi.

They kept insinuating me about my ugly face, and couldn't believe that Rudi liked me.

So did my office friend, Silvia. She used to be surly to me when Rudi drove me to work.

I don't know what's wrong with him, why so nosy with my life.

Eight months later, the neighbors near my house were shocked. When I saw Rudi coming to my house, with his parents.

Their taunts about my ugly face, and not being suitable for dating Rudi immediately disappeared.

They were really embarrassed at that time, after knowing Rudi proposed to me. Then they still gossip, which is nothing about me.

After Rudi and I got married, they kept gossiping. He said our household, it won't last long. They say, where does a handsome man marry an ugly woman like me?

When my marriage lasted five months, I heard that my husband had been having an affair with a friend in my office for a long time.

It turned out that she was secretly playing love, with Rudi behind me.

Rudi who is the eye of the basket, can be fooled by Silvia's sweet mouth.

It's fair that the money from my mother, when I held the wedding reception Rudi had taken forcibly. It turned out to pay his debt, to Joko. He borrowed money from Joko for my wedding with him.

My husband has remarried to Silvia, and it makes my heart ache.

" Karin, I want to file for divorce. Because I have married Siri to Silvia. So I want to legalize our marriage" Rudi said guiltlessly.

I was surprised to hear his confession, it was very painful to hear Rudi's confession.

After taking my money, and my mother's money now she's remarried to my office friend Silvia.

The beginning of my story

Today at my house, a wedding reception is underway. It was very nice, and many guests came. I saw happiness on my mother's face. Like her she was relieved, had taken off her daughter. Rudi and I sat together at the wedding, wearing a traditional Javanese wedding dress.

The reception was over, and I went into my room.

It was a shock when I saw Rudi, unloading a box containing an envelope bearing the name of the parents.

" Bang Rudi, what have you done?" I was surprised to see Rudi forcibly dismantle the invitation box, which contained many envelopes for the guests.

" I need money, to pay my debt to Joko" said Rudi who was still focused on taking the envelope that had not been opened.

I see, in the box bearing the name of the parents. Immediately I pulled the box, tried to protect it.

" Bang, this box belongs to mom. You have no right to take the contents." My hardik tried to forcefully take the wooden box from Rudi's hand

" Alah, now your mother is my mother too" he said, shaking both hands

" Bang .." I looked at Rudi with a face of disbelief.

Yes I do not believe in the attitude of Rudi, who looks rude at this time. Because before, I didn't know his true nature. All I know is, Rudi very gently treated me yesterday. Why has his attitude changed in just a few hours?

" That's it, you know the cost of this wedding isn't free. I have to borrow money from Joko, to bring me the Kawin mas for you" Rudi said.

" What, Bang? Didn't I give you money every month?" I shouted, "where did the money I gave you yesterday, Bang?"

Rudi fell silent, not answering my question. Like there was something she was hiding.

He didn't bully me, after taking the whole envelope he put it in the bag.

" Bang, where are you taking my money?" I shouted while holding his hand.

But he pushed me until I fell. I did not expect with Rudi's attitude, which suddenly changed. He is like a demon, without a heart. Tega took money that was not his right.
