Our Marriage Life's
Contract Attorney

The two are enjoying their relaxed atmosphere by taking a walk in the Dongdaemun Street area after shopping for daily necessities in the area as well. For some reason, the feeling of being tired after eight hours of work all night just evaporated, as if the three hours they had spent there, was nothing.

"Open your mouth, oppa." Pinta So Yeon, flipping her body while preparing to feed Goldfish bread with frozen yogurt topping on the man.

Dae Han, who was walking behind him with a few bags of grocery crackles, said, opening his mouth and eating some of it.

"Is there anything else we should buy?" Dae Han asked, asking the certainty of when they would return home.

So Yeon folded her lips, her forehead shriveling as if she was making a decision when they would go home. He walked slowly, aligned his body beside Dae Han, grabbed the man's arm, then spoke... "A little while, huh? I still want to buy chicken skewers on stick."

"All right."

After that, the two immediately looked for the food seller So Yeon mentioned earlier. They seem to really enjoy the quality time of both. Take a walk while enjoying a snack in the market area Dongdaemun, inexplicably become so fun.

"Honey, are you home?"

"Yes" replied one man, giving a warm kiss to her husband, channeling warmth to one another, before he wrapped his arms around the man's neck in his casual suit. "It's exhausting, you know?" She put her forehead on her husband's forehead. Closing his eyes while composing the sentence he was about to say to start a serious conversation.

"Is your case really hard this time?" Ask the American man. He closed his eyes while the woman he loved was still doing the same.

"The murder case of the mafia chairman is still not over. Ah, honey... By the way, what in the office is not opening a vacancy for contract attorney?" The woman who was Sae Rin looked at her husband's eyes fixedly, starting the conversation with a basic question.

Edward, her husband, furrowed his brows deeply. His eyes looked far ahead, considering whether the office where he worked was opening vacancies for interns or not. "Let's know, I don't know that. Why why?" He said, asking back. He did not know about such recruitment. Usually the recruiter is the senior lawyer team. While he held a higher position than that, as a managing partner.

Sae Rin took a seat in front of her husband, poured a bottle of champagne on a cocktail, then took a sip. "My friend will apply there, he passed the exam, but he failed the interview stage." Sae Rin's Sesal.

"Which graduation?" Edward Timpal. His face turned serious.

"Harvard, LL.M." Sae Rin replies and mentions the title of magister that Dae Han holds.

Edward mangosteen. "intriguing. I'll ask Lawyer Stevi that first." Edward's Promise. It seems he was interested in Dae Han's profile as a Harvard University graduate. As many people know, Hannam Law Firm is still doing the recruitment process in a conventional way. Graduates of renowned universities and Grade Point of Average (GPA) become the main points before stepping on the test and interview stage. So, if his wife's friend has been at the interview stage. Of course, he has good quality.

"Really?" Sae Rin's eyes sparkled brightly. Her husband would certainly consider an intern with good quality like Dae Han. He knows it.

"Euhm." Edward nodded his head and was greeted with an increasingly wide smile from his wife.

"Should I give you a gift as a thank you, huh?" Sae Rin said lightly. She was already spoiled in her husband's arms while occasionally dipping the man's porcelain-white cheeks.

"Can. In the room or what?"

"YES!"

Right at five in the afternoon, So Yeon in a white T-shirt and black knee-length jeans was struggling in the kitchen, cooking hotteok and Korean fried chicken with spicy honey sauce as their afternoon snack. While Dae Han was taking a shower after helping his wife put the groceries in their place.

After fifteen minutes, the afternoon snack cooking event has been completed. So Yeon immediately serves it on the dining table, then takes a seat in hers, folds her hands on the table, waiting for Dae Han to come out of the room.

"Ish..." Dae Han chuckled to see his faithful wife waiting for him. Black shirt suit, knee-length baggy pant, with hair that is still a little wet make his appearance look fresh. "Why are you waiting for me, baby? Just eat it first." He said as he gave a kiss on the top of So Yeon's head.

"No. We eat together, after that I'll treat your wounds again, oppa." So Yeon hugged her husband's waist, looking up at Dae Han's face that was still turning blue in some parts.

So Yeon did not flinch. He simply smiled, then touched the man's cheeks. Swiped it slowly, then shook his head. "No, just eat first, oppa, it's still hot."

Dae Han slightly glanced over the dining table, a second later, his two eyeballs perfectly rounded. His favorite snack that is still steaming is tempting on the table. It seemed like he had not enjoyed So Yeon's cooking for a long time. The woman often only cooks ramyeon because of her busyness. Especially for cooking snacks like this, he almost never again did counting since one month ago.

The man stared at his wife. "Thank you, chagi-ya," as a thank you, she kissed So Yeon's lips long enough. After that, he rushed towards his dining chair, stabbed a piece of Korean Fried Chicken wrapped in spicy honey sauce with a stick, then ate it voraciously. "It's so bad." His comments. There are no lies there, he really enjoyed So Yeon's cooking this time. It seems that the woman has learned a lot about how to cook properly.

"really? Thank goodness you liked it, oppa. After this, try the Hotteok, okay?"

"Don..."

Supposedly, So Yeon felt happy her husband liked her cooking so much, considering that the man often lied just to please her. He knows, sometimes the cooking is not satisfactory. He himself often saw Dae Han's face flushed red while eating his homemade food. But Dae Han never took issue with it, let alone spewing it out. Even once he made the man have stomach pains, because he carelessly added too much vinegar to his kimchi.

"Is there anything you're thinking?" Said Dae Han, breaking the silence, which made So Yeon look at him questioningly.

"Yes?" reply with confused look. "D-aniya..." Added, gurgling.

"You're starting to hide something from me, chagi-ya?" Dae Han asked once again, putting down the stick he used to stab his fried honey chicken pieces.

So Yeon tried to smile. Yet still failed. With no choice, he finally decides to tell the truth, saying one thing that disturbs his mind.

"Oppa..." Call him with a stifled voice.

"Yes?" Dae Han clasped So Yeon's fingers on the table.

"Hannam Law Firm is one of the major law firms, oppa. What else is there to doubt about that?" After staring at the table strokes in front of him, So Yeon began to raise her face, staring at Dae Han's look that seemed surprised by the question. Why replace the hunted?

"I told you, they can't give me the salary I asked for, Chagi-ya. Moreover, they won't give me a salary during the internal period." Dae Han replied, stick to his stance. That excuse seemed to be a dead price for him.

So Yeon again interrupted her husband's fingers that began to slacken. "Darling, no matter what salary you get, it won't be a problem for me." So Yeon's timpals are starting to get inflamed. There was no harm in reminding Dae Han of that.

"Can't." Dae Han started to throw away his face, he pulled his hand from So Yeon's grasp. Already stifled, the woman remains determined to find her husband. This problem will not be good if it continues to be left. As his mother once said, the key to household harmony is communication. So Yeon does not want to fail just because of lack of communication. How much anger Dae Han over his thinking later. He will try to deal with it well. It is better to start a debate now while the offer is open. Why later, if Sae Rin has decided not to help.

"Why not? Shouldn't we as husband and wife complement each other, oppa?"

"I knew. But as a husband, I should have a greater income than you."

Dae Han looked at So Yeon with a begging look. He wants So Yeon to understand his way of thinking.

"Oppa, the older you get, the harder it will be. So, if you had a chance like this, would oppa just reject it?"

"I'm going to find somewhere else that can give me a big paycheck. I promise..."

So Yeon cut Dae Han's sentence with a slab. He could not say anything more when the tears were crammed wanting to come down. He was so disappointed by Dae Han's thought that he overcame the work problem. In a narrowness like this, Dae Han should be able to defeat his ego. Accepting the opportunity to become a contract attorney will not lower his self-esteem. It would not make him low in his eyes. Dae Han will still be a husband figure that he respects so much. More than that, who would want to hire a lawyer without going through two years of internment? Moreover, based on Sae Rin's explanation earlier, Hannam Law Firm has lawyers who must have the same quality as Dae Han. Shouldn't Dae Han be grateful for the opportunity to join those great lawyers!?

"It's up to the oppa."

Dae Han stared at So Yeon's departure without wanting to chase. He did not know why So Yeon was so demanding that he immediately work, to accept the offer. Is it because he's embarrassed if this gets sniffed out of his family? Is he ashamed to have an unemployed husband and have as many problems with work as he is?

"Is it really like that!?" Dae Han said desperately accompanied by a slick smile.
