Part 8's.

Rima blinked her two eyes that had not stopped crying since. Why should she cry over someone who has no feelings for her? Rima realized with all his heart he loved Milan even though he knew that the man already had a lover, Raline.

"Calm Rima, while you're safe here. Joel or whoever it is won't be able to find you!" persuade Tere to calm Rima down.

"Thank you for letting me stay at your parents' house, Re! I owe you so much! You're the only friend I have in the world!" rima continued to shed her tears.

"Actually what problem are you facing right now, Rima? Tell me, I will help you!" press Tere later.

Rima took a deep breath before telling Tere.

"Re, what are you going to do when you love a man but that man doesn't love you, while on the other hand there's a man who loves you but you don't love him?"

"Wow, so that's why you're sad like this huh?!" long Tere fell silent and thought.

Rima was very sure if Tere was also confused as he was.

"I'd rather go to someone who loves me even if I don't love him. I remember a quote from a favorite writer who said; a good friend is not when he meets all the criteria we want and has everything. But the good friend of life is the one who very clearly wants us as much as we want him. If he's perfect but he doesn't want you, it's the same as if you dream!" obviously Tere made Rima's heart grow weaker listening.

So Tere meant, Rima had to leave Milan and go to Karl?

"I hope you've seen the breaking news today, Rima. Joel your husband's a trending topic now!"

"W-what do you mean Re?"

"Joel Arungga, the owner of the capital's largest hotel and night entertainment center, has been declared dead after being shot by an unknown person! The police suspect temporarily if the perpetrator may have come from a fellow enemy of his business!"

"So J-Joel is dead? S-quick that?! " Rima swallowed his saliva riled up. It turned out that Karl was not playing around with his words.

Instantly Rima felt anxious because it had been one week he turned off his phone. Rima has not told Karl at all if he has left Milan and also the apartment. Rima is worried that Karl is targeting Milan as the next target for the male victim.

Rima wanted to reach for her cell phone in the room to contact Karl but just as soon as she got up from the sofa she suddenly felt her head dizzy and twitching.

Since morning Rima can not swallow any hatta he just plain water let alone rice. He just remembered that last month his menstruation was short and his blood expenditure was minimal. Rima immediately asked Tere for good services to the pharmacy and bought him all the drugs and tools he needed.

Rima's worries have now become a real nightmare for her. His head is heavy, his chest immediately becomes tight when he sees the results of a pregnancy test that shows a red two-colored line.

Joel's departure may make it a little easier for Milan to get Rima legally through state law but the disappearance of the woman from her current life makes Milan very confused and uncertain direction.

Milan returned to his apartment after paying his last respects over Joel's grave. Milan's gaze was immediately shocked when he checked the cctv recording in front of his apartment elevator at the security post available. Milan just found out if Rima played love with Karl Aquino, the owner of a luxury apartment next door unit that Rima often met behind him so far.

It turned out that Rima and Raline were both traitorous women and cheap women. Milan felt his blood boiling and wanted to immediately explode like volcanic lava.

Rima stepped into a cafe carefully. It feels like both of Rima's legs are very fragile since knowing about her pregnancy the other day. Karl waved his hand and it appeared that the man was wearing a hoodie that covered his entire head.

Karl deliberately chose a slightly recessed table with lighting lamps that are not too bright. Rima's favorite hot drink was ready to be ordered by Karl when the woman filled the empty place in front of him.

"We have to move now and even as soon as possible. I'm currently a fugitive with the police on Joel's death. I hope you're willing enough to come with me because I've booked our tickets to Manila!" said Karl who made Rima's feeling sicker and wanted to faint.

Ticket to Manila? What do they want there? With the condition of Rima who is pregnant like now?

"Karl, I want to apologize. I can't come along much less to marry you!"

"Why? Didn't I eliminate Joel who automatically broke the marriage bond between you? What else is your reason now? Is it because you don't love me as much as I love you? That's okay, Rima. I won't force you and you can learn a little bit later after we get married!" Karl pulled one of Rima's hands and held it neatly.

Suddenly Rima's heart was filled with misfortune. He feared for his life and Milan would be threatened as Karl learned the truth.

"A-I am currently h-pregnant, Karl! W-Where might you want to marry a pregnant woman like me?" said Rima stammered but she was very forced to say it.

Karl was stunned for a moment and did not believe Rima's confession.

"Why did you do that, Rima?! Why did you get pregnant?! Why are you so foolish as to let Milan impregnate you while she has absolutely no intention of marrying you?! You think a woman like Milan would be responsible?! In your dream, Rima!" angered Karl looked disappointedly at Rima.

Rima admits the truth of Karl's words about Milan. It is evident after almost two weeks he left the apartment but Milan have no signs of currently looking for him. Could it be that the man is still devastated by Joel's death? Rima is very sure Milan is not that weak man.

"I'm so disappointed in you, Rima! You better think about what your fate is and your baby is now! I don't accept taking responsibility for a mistake made by someone else! I am not willing to take care of the seed of any man in the belly of the woman who will be my wife! And before that happens, I have to leave you! Take care of yourself. Don't worry because I won't harm you and your son's father! Whatever Milan's reaction after, I hope you never think of aborting him because he's a completely innocent baby!" Karl spoke flatly before leaving the cafe chasing his flight to Manila which was just a moment away.

Rima pondered deeply. He did not know whether to sigh in relief or otherwise feel anxious. One after another the barrier was already eliminated. But will Rima be able to taste the happiness she wants? What if it turns out that Milan also want to get away from the life of Rima?
