My Twin Brothers

My Twin Brothers
part 4's

Viona~ POV

Viona sat on the floor, ironing all her veils. Only a few of them look good. In part, even the tangled lines do not disappear even in the iron several times.

"Alright, I have to save up again to buy a more decent one" he said with a smile.

Without Viona noticing, someone was standing at the door of her room. He watched his every move and talk.

'Let Grandma give you the most beautiful, son.' Nek Mimi murmured in his heart.

Nek Mimi leaves Viona. He walked into the kitchen, started making dough cakes for he put in the stall of his brother Angga.

In her room, Viona tried one by one the hijab that had been ironed. He smiled sweetly looking at his reflection in the mirror. His age has now reached twenty-two years. She grew up to be a beautiful woman, had clean white skin, long and pliable eyelashes, and not so big eyes were not so narrow. He is very similar to Mirna, his mother. Perhaps, only his height is derived from Rudi, his father.

"You're so pretty, Viona"

"Ah, yes. Thank you"

He talks to himself in the mirror.

After being satisfied to try the headscarves, she tidied back and arranged them in the closet.

Viona stepped into the kitchen, approached the Grandma and wanted to help her make a cake.

"More, Grandma? "

"No, Viona. It's Grandma, we just pack these cookies." Said Nek Mimi who remained focused on folding small plastics.

"Alright, Grandma. Viona help, yeah."

Nek Mimi nodded and smiled at her grandson.

Nek Mimi and Viona walk towards Fatim's Stall. They'll drop the cake. Usually Viona would go alone, this time Nek Mimi came after forcing it on Viona.

"Grandmother tired? "

"No, Son. Grandma is so happy to be walking with you now. I don't know when God called Grandma. Get married soon, son. So Grandma wouldn't leave you alone" Nek Mimi stopped speaking her mind to Viona, with a heavy sigh.

"Grandma said what, anyway. Grandma will live longer with Viona. Here, let Viona help" Viona smiled, holding tightly onto Nek Mimi's hand.

"Alhamdulillah, Mother. The cake was finished yesterday. Someone has come too, so do the cakes."

"Alhamdulillah yes, Ma'am. Thank you for allowing Grandma to trade here"

"It's okay, Grandma. Grandma is like my own family" said Fatim's friendly mother, with a hand that offered money from the sale of cakes in her stall.

Nek Mimi took the money, and counted it for a moment.

"There's a point, Mommy? "

Viona who was listening to the conversation between Grandma and her best friend's Big Brother, just looked in wonder at her Grandma.

"There's inside. Why, Grandma?"

"Grandmother wants to take you to the pharmacy, Ma'am. I want to buy medicine."

"Lho, Grandma's sick? Want to buy what medicine, why not say the same with Viona, Grandma?"

Viona spoke out loud and half in shock.

"Oh, it's okay. Grandma just feels sore, Viona. Not very sick"

"Let Viona buy it. Grandma can wait in the bar. Yeah, right, Mommy? " Viona glanced inside the stall, staring at Fatim Ma'am.

"Here you go, let Grandma. Ma'am, can you call me Angga, please?"

"Good, Grandma. Wait a minute" Fatim sauntered, entering the room looking for Angga.

"Why do you want to buy what medicine, Grandma? Grandma should just rest. Let Angga be the same Viona who bought it." Angga half yelled to the person in the back seat of his bike.

"Grandmother won't buy medicine, Son Angga. Grandma wants to buy a hijab for Viona."

Angga silence. I heard the words of his best friend's grandmother.

'Why I never thought. Why don't I buy Viona a hijab?' Angga wondered in his heart.

Angga's motor stopped in front of a shop that was not too big. Even so, the store is always crowded.

"Good afternoon. Can I help you, Mother? " ask a shop employee.

"Oh, sure. My grandmother needs a hijab for an adult woman, mbak."

"Let's come with me, Mom."

Angga had been abandoned by her biological parents as a child, just like Viona. He now lives with his brother and sister-in-law. Maybe because of that, he and his brother were very good to Viona and Nek Mimi.

"Please choose Mas, Ma'am. This is a hijab suitable for adult age. Not too plain and not too flashy" he said with a friendly smile.

"Female, please choose two beautiful hijabs for Viona, yes."

Nek Mimi looked up, because Angga's body was very high compared to his band.

"Eh, but, Grandma... Hm... How, yeah. No idea, Grandma."

Angga scratched his unscratchy head.

"What you think is good when worn by Viona alone, son"

The family also began to choose. And stop when looking at two hijabs with the same motif, but have different colors.

"This is it, Grandma. It's very pretty"

"Sir, how much are these two headscarves? "

Nek Mimi turned around, and asked the woman behind her.

"both Rp. 50,000,-"

After paying for the hijab, they walked out to go home.

"Grandma's eating? " ask Angga who walks parallel to him.

"No, Son. It's okay, Viona must have cooked at home"

"Once in a while, Angga had to treat Grandma. Come on, let's eat first at the meatball stall over there, yeah."

Angga ordered two bowls of meatballs. And find a place for them to sit.

"Female, thank you so much, son. Already keeping and accompanying Viona."

"Yes, Grandma. Equally" Sahut Angga friendly.

"Grandmother would love to see Grandma's favorite granddaughter get married. Before Grandma left. So that when that time comes, there are already people who become the entertainers and protectors of Viona."

He settled blankly forward, Angga only listened and glanced at him occasionally.

"Company him while he is cooking, comfort him when he is sad, wake him when he is misfortune, remind him to eat, and help fix his hair when it is wrapped around the comb"

"Viona's a good girl, Grandma. Of course he'll get someone nice for him."

"Yes, Son. Immediately" replied Nek Mimi as she began cutting small meatballs in her bowl.

Geck... Geck...Geck...

"Viona, are you asleep, son? "

"No, Grandma. Just come in" he said, folding clothes.

Nek Mimi opened the door of her grandson's room, watching him closely at the door.

"Grandmother why didn't you come in? Here, sit next to Viona." He patted the bed next to his seat.

"So Grandma bought the medicine?"

"Grandma didn't buy the cure."

"Why? Is the money lacking, Grandma? "

Said Viona who stopped doing her activities.

"No. Its alright. Hm, Grandma has something for Grandma's beloved granddaughter."

"Hmm? "

"Here, open it, Viona." Nek Mimi handed Viona the red plastic bag.

Viona took. For a moment he was silent when he saw the contents of the plastic.

Her tears washed her cheeks. He has no power to simply hold it.

"Grandma, thank you so much."

Viona tightly hugged Nek Mimi's body, which was responded with a gentle swipe at her head.

'Hopefully, Viona meets the one who loves Viona so much, yes, dear' inner Nek Mimi.
