My Second Husband is a CEO
Episode 28's

After being ready with his work clothes, Varo went out of the room. His gaze circulated to every corner of the room, looking for the figure of Syifa who slept last night in the living room.

"He's gone" Varo muttered as he could not find Syifa in the living room.

Varo walked over, then sat down on the sofa Syifa slept on last night. Until a while later the apartment door opened, followed by the presence of Rio.

"Good morning sir" said Rio. But not the slightest reply by Varo.

"What's wrong with Mr Varo ?" Inner Rio.

"Rio" call Varo.

"Yes Sir"

"Today I want you to take all my wife's clothes, bring her here and I don't want her back to the boarding house"

Rio was speechless, for some reason the wife Varo said felt very foreign to Rio.

"Did you hear what I said ?" Varo stood up then looked at Rio expressionlessly.

"Listen, sir, well I will have my men do his duty"

"Hemmm, and you're looking for information about Syifa, as well as why she divorced her husband first"

Back in shock, Rio did not expect that Syifa had been married. Especially according to Rio's assessment that Syifa is still very easy.

"Miss Syifa has already married sir ?" Ask Rio.

"I don't let you ask, just do the job I'm giving you"

"Ba-good sir"

Syifa had just entered her boarding house, and she had been hunted with many questions from Dita. His best friend looked so worried because Syifa did not come home all night.

"Where did you sleep last night Fa?, we were all worried, even Redi's brother went to the restaurant but you weren't there"

Syifa was silent as to what answer she should say. He did not expect that Redi would follow him to work.

"Fa.." Dita's eyes squeaked, looking at her silent Syifa she felt something had happened.

"Aren't you papa ?"

"No Dit, I'm fine" Syifa replied quickly.

"You haven't answered my question, where were you last night ?"

"Oh, I'm sure last night you must have been really scared because of the heavy rain. Mana turned off the lights again. Thank goodness you're okay" Dita patted Syifa on the shoulder gently.

Exhaling a sigh of relief, Syifa was finally able to make Dita believe her lie. He could not say that last night he was forcibly married by the citizens. Syifa also believes the man who married her last night will soon be running after her.

After Dita returned to her boarding house, Syifa immediately entered and closed the door. The woman rested her body until tears came back.

"Why must this happen to me again O Allah" said Syifa.

His memory goes back to when he married Alfin first, how he had to feel the pain every day. I have to see my husband meet another woman.

"I had to get Varo to look at me, because I didn't want to be hurt anymore"

"My master has already gotten information about Miss Syifa" Rio said after being in Varo's study.

Varo who was staring at the computer screen immediately looked up.

"Explain what you got !" pinta Varo firmly.

"Okay sir" Rio opened the green-colored map that was in his hand.

"According to the information I have, Miss Syifa is a widow. And have one son"

"Why did she get a divorce with her husband first ?" ask Varo full of curiosity.

Rio seemed hesitant to say that Syifa's marriage to Alfin had failed because of her mother Alfin's actions.

"Say Rio !"

"That's all because of her in-laws Miss Syifa sir. She disagreed with her son to marry Miss Syifa because Miss Syifa only comes from a modest family"

Varo took a deep breath, his wife had also experienced something similar until the wife died tragically.

"Are you sure you'll take Miss Syifa to stay in the apartment ?" Rio asked, he looked at Varo.

"Sure, she's my wife now. So I have the right to take care of him" Varo replied steadily. Although she has no love for Syifa, but somehow the urge to keep her is so strong.

Varo wants to go through it all first, let it all go his way.

"Don't till my mom meets Syifa, I don't want that woman to do the same thing she used to"

"Good sir"
