My Evil Lady's

My Evil Lady's
Temptations

I approached Indah - one of the staff financial managers - who had just walked out of Rami's room while carrying the company's quarterly financial statements. His round eyes widened as he saw me blocking his way back to the table.

"Well, can I borrow the report?" I asked politely as I reached out my hand, waiting for him to submit the report he held in front of his chest.

Beautiful head tilt does not understand my intentions. He doesn't understand why I'm asking for that document again. "The document has been approved by Rami, sis," the info makes me have to get the document before the financials publish it to the public.

"Yes, but there are some things that need to be reanalyzed. I promise I'll finish it tonight." I tried to convince her, not to take the slightest view of that short-haired girl by the boat. Although doubts were clearly sculpted on his round face, he handed the document over.

“Original sister can return it immediately. I have to publish the report tomorrow,” the terms before actually releasing the document from his hands.

I nodded steadily, full of confidence. “Of course. I will return it as soon as you come tomorrow morning,” my promise which means I have to stay up tonight, miss the favorite team's ball game to finish it.

I brought back the documents in hand to Rima's room after not forgetting to say thank you and promise to treat a favorite glass of coffee Indah. The price I have to spend to bring important documents from the finance department. My reputation of being PA pak Narta - which means being her confidant - was useful enough to convince other employees to trust me.

There was no need for me to knock on the door before entering Rami's room. It was free because most likely he would not pay attention either. And my guess is, he was too engrossed to watch videos on youtube rather than working to not realize my figure was already standing in front of him. Rami just lifted his head off the laptop screen as I put the hard-hitting documents on his desk.

"Don't just sign something without talking to me first, Director,” my door sounds more like an order. I tried to hold back from making my tone rise, but it didn't work out enough. My half-octave higher tone completely caught his attention.

Rami closed the laptop screen quietly. The calmness that even makes my hair stand up. The apparent calmness was contrived as if he was waiting for the right moment before pouncing on me. He rests himself on the back of the chair. His hands were folded in front of his chest, looking at me with a condescending look that I have received so often lately. "You told me to work and I did. Isn't it my job to just sign some paperwork? I've already done it. What else are you having trouble with now?" the question is relaxing, like there is no burden at all. I don't understand why he underestimated his duties and responsibilities when there were thousands of people and his family who depend on the company.

"Not just sign, but you have to check it first. Signing it means that you are responsible for what is listed in the report." I can no longer hold my tone. Talking to him never failed to raise my blood pressure.

"How dare a PA doubt the ability of its superiors. Is the PA now getting so brash that it feels entitled to order its superiors to do this, heh?" cela Rami, still maintaining her calm expression. The question was so sharp, it made my breath hold for a moment.

"I'm not going to doubt your abilities if you really do. In this case, I know that you're only approving so you can play."

"Who is playing?” cut quick. “I'm at work." Rami didn't take it when I said it. His face hardened, his eyes sharp. The calm expression that he had from the moment he put on her beautiful face evaporated instantly became a dead red.

"Working?" I made sure my ears didn't hear me wrong. "Don't make me laugh, your clothes just don't show the way a working person does." I glanced at the clothes she was wearing today. If it's just a straight dress I can still tolerate, but this is too much.

Rami followed the direction of my view before researching the outfit he wore today from toe to head. A navy blue mini skirt with a flannel shirt one size larger and a matching colored platform adorning its smooth legs.

"There's nothing wrong with my clothes" she said as she wandered, satisfied with the shadowy look of a glass cabinet in one corner of the room.

"Some," I interrupted quickly. "Your clothes are too open to wear to the office. It is impossible for you to meet clients and meetings with this appearance. The other staff also become unfocused when you pass in front of them,” obviously I'm at length even though I don't dare to look directly at him. Avoiding the complacent look in her eyes, but instead fixated on her smooth and slender legs. I turned my face away, hiding the red tinge that appeared without my control. How upset I was with Rami, still I was a guy and Rami was too pretty to ignore.

Many female employees have a beautiful face in the company, but no one can match her beauty. The slick mix of boundless wealth and parental genes that are also well known for their appearance, makes her beauty level well above average. Perfect beauty if her temperament wasn't terrible.

Rami laughed and heard my words. I wondered why he was laughing, while I was already half-anxious. Now I not only have to correct his work, but also have to correct his appearance.

"So you think the employees, especially the male staff, can't focus on working when they see me? You don't think my clothes are appropriate to wear to the office like that?" Rami walked slowly with full confidence, thrusting forward step by step towards me. "Do you think the employees can't concentrate on working after seeing my clothes are too sexy? Does this responsible PA think I look sexy?" he asked when he was so close in front of me. His forehead was right in front of my lips. I could see through his glowing brown eyeballs. It was so close and quiet that I could hear my heartbeat that I knew from when it had suddenly run wild.

Yes, she looks so beautiful and perfect in my eyes. So beautiful and dangerous that I could destroy my world if I let my guard down a little.

He was shaking from his position that was almost stuck to my body. Too close that I was afraid he could hear my heart beating. It was too close that I could easily kiss her full and soft lips just by lowering my head. His gaze softened, but simultaneously demanded. Demand an answer to his final question that is asductive as possible. Any question whose answer will only strike back at me, be it an honest answer or a lie.

"You're teasing me?" I broke the intense silence. Trying to act as habitually as possible, as if I were not affected by his temptation. "If it's true, you won't succeed. I already have a lover who is also beautiful..," because I can get out of his entrapment.

Laughter again gushed from his lips, tearing the atmosphere of silence that squeezed the chest. So hard he laughed until he had to hold a stiff stomach. I just frowned looking at her excessive laughter. I'm not sure what he's laughing at.

Don't tell me you can read my mind and know I'm lying.

"I can't believe you think that" he commented, sighing at the tears that ran through the corners of his eyes.

Thankfully, my lies were not discovered

Just like Rami, honestly I myself do not believe those words that come out of my mouth, but I could have answered no. I bite my lips, wanting to pull my words.

"Not only insolent, it turns out you are also too proud of yourself," he continued after successfully controlling laughter. "Don't ever dream of falling for me because I already have a guy who is much more handsome, but since you also already have a girlfriend, you just think it's more relieving. Don't think about having more than just a boss relationship with his PA."

I laughed faintly at that overly imaginative possibility. I'd go crazy if I was really interested in him. "Stop that absurd word of yours. You have to work extra hard to get my attention," my comment ended a nonsensical shadow while tidying up my completely uncluttered suit. Rami is just mangosteen as if assuring anything that is my defense. "Now let's go now?" I shifted the direction of the conversation, trying to get rid of the awkwardness that enveloped.

"Where?" his tan raised next to his dense eyebrows. Rami does not remember that today there is a meeting schedule with clients.

"We have to shop. There will be a meeting with the director of the Jaya company for a contract extension. You can't find him in this outfit."

Rami's eyes sparkled as he heard about shopping. Understandably he must temporarily stop his hobby on this one if he wants to survive just by relying on monthly salary alone. He could have put up puppy eyes in front of his girlfriend, but he wouldn't. It is not his style to ask for something from others, not least his own girlfriend.

"Wait, you said I didn't have a budget to go shopping?" Rami squinted at trying to ferret out what else I was planning.

I smiled proudly while showing her the unlimited credit card that the other day I confiscated from her. "Pak Narta says I'm free to wear it for the benefit of the company."

Hemp's eyes sparkle when looking at unlimited cards, cards that can guarantee and satisfy his shopping hobby. "Okay, for me whatever the reason is I don't care what matters I can go shopping," he commented cheerfully. Without needing to be repeated twice Rami immediately picked up his bag and walked enthusiastically out of the room. "Don't dawdle. I wait below," he ordered without looking back.

I shook my head, not believing his behavior. I wondered if I had committed such a great crime in the past that I should have received such bad karma. Since becoming the new PA director, I've become familiar with a little pill called aspirin.
