Chapter 64. How does it feel to have parents?

Davin took several days off to accompany his wife. The two are now preparing to visit an orphanage and will meet the pregnant woman Davin told me about last night.

"You two schools?" ask Davin while looking at the two.

Didit and Lio immediately shook their heads. "It stopped, about a year ago. We have to help you earn money to survive" Didit told Lio.

Davin frowned, was there no donation for this orphanage. "No one donated?" ask her.

"Bunda said, her donation was stopped about 1 year ago, so the cost for her school is not there. We had to quit school and choose work to help mom find money to eat our sisters and us."

Arriving at the car, Davin immediately dropped off some cardboard that had been wrapped neatly. The three carried the boxes in aid of Meta who was playing with the children outside.

"Thank you guys for helping" Davin told them after all the boxes were inside the house.

The day already showed at 12 noon, Davin and Rein had been playing in the orphanage for quite a while. Almost all of the children were familiar with Rein and Davin.

After lunch, the children took a nap. But not with a tiny 3-year-old girl, who sits on Davin's lap with Barbie in her hand. "Om Davin, have old Olang?" ask her with a lisp.

"Cristi happy?" rein asked as she stroked the red cheek.

"Clisti, can you hug Mom and Daddy?" ask her slowly.

Davin glanced at Rein who was already glazed over. The two of them then hugged Cristi. Mother Lela who had seen them, smiled.

"By dong dear. Mother's daughter why cry hm?" rein asked while wiping away her tears as well.

Cristi just sobbed slowly, while hugging Davin tightly. It turns out this is how old it is to have that old man, thought his little brain.

A while later Cristi finally fell asleep in Davin's arms. Soon Davin moved to put her to bed next to the other children who took naps.
