Married for Slander

Married for Slander
Chapter 3.

No one knows how God rules a person's life. Alana herself had to give up life even though her mind could not accept.

Alana came home in a sad state, she was forced to walk for miles because she had no money at all.

The last money he had was already used to pay for the taxi yesterday, nor did he touch the dowry Azzam had given him.

Tired as if it was like a staple food for Alana, the flowing sweat was like a wave playing in the Ocean, even the hot sun like an umbrella over Alana's head, he's very used to all that.

"Where have you been, huh?" sergeant Danu shortly after Alana arrived home. The man turned off the cigarette he smoked and walked over to Alana who was still in the doorway.

"Sir, Alana-"

Plaac...

Alana did not have time to answer, a hard slap had landed on her cheek. Alana's body staggered, she cupped a hand on her cheek that felt pain instead of playing, numb and immediately lost feeling.

"The child does not know it is lucky. Not looking for work to ease the burden of the family, but instead hanging out with foreign men. What are you gonna be, huh?" berang Danu is Alana's stepfather.

Yes, Alana lost her biological father at the age of two months. Not long after his father died, his mother remarried to Danu who also recently lost his wife. Both of them brought one child from a previous marriage.

Alana now has no one but the two of them. Alana's mother died one year ago because of the inner pressure she was experiencing, she is now an orphan who has to fight back for the services of her stepfather.

"Just punish him, he's already put the family to shame!" timpal Desi, Alana's half-sister who yesterday had slandered her to be forced to marry a man she did not know.

"No, Sir. That's not true, I'm vilified, me and that man-"

"Still dare to dodge? I've seen the evidence clearly, you're just like your mother, you're both..."

"Enough!" Alana raised her voice as her mother's name was carried around. "Mr may insult me to the fullest, but not my mother. My mother wasn't the woman you were accusing her of." Alana's eyes immediately lit up like an eagle ready to attack a victim.

"Ciiih, still dare to defend yourself. It's clear you two are the same, both ja*lang." lapse Desi smiled discordantly mocking Alana.

"Are you suddenly amnesic? Have you forgotten who slandered me?" cerca Alana stared intently at Desi, Alana knew that she hated her from a long time ago, but Alana did not expect that Desi would slander her and destroy her life.

"It's none of my business, who told me to"

"I can't stand you guys anymore, I better get out of this house. I'm tired of being a slave and a money-making machine for you both."

Alana turned around and left without bringing anything. His anger was already at the top of the tower so he could no longer bear it.

No matter how sick and tired Alana's soul was all along, she could still be patient as she considered Danu and Desi her family.

However, now Alana's anger can no longer be muted. Alana could not accept when her late mother was humiliated as before. Alana knows exactly not the wrong mother, but Danu who is not at all responsible as the head of the family.

Danu has never worked and only relies on Alana and her mother, both of whom have to bone down to support both humans do not know themselves.

...With shaky steps and sweat pouring down her forehead, Alana returned to the streets without knowing where her legs would be....

...The world was shaking, and the dark began to fall. His heart rate was instantly irregular and he chose to sit in a city park, right under a very shady tree....

"True, her name is Alana Sanjaya. His father died when he was just two months old, one year ago his mother followed him to the Creator. He now lives with his father and stepbrother, his life is not as good as it seems."

"Then?"

"Every day yesterday, Alana tried to apply for jobs in ten companies, one of which is a subsidiary of Global Group, unfortunately no one received her application because her education was only at High School level."

"Well, all this trouble I leave to you, you'll know what to do."

"Okay, I get it."

From a contract, Azzam came out with a very slick appearance. His hair neatly arranged backwards with a little jambrit falling on his forehead, he wore black jeans and a white T-shirt wrapped in a leather jacket that matched his pants, plus a white slipon made of leather. At first glance looks handsome and very stunning.

Azzam boarded a moge and left the contract in a hurry. His gaze was extremely sharp as he combed through the streets he was passing through.

Not long after, Azzam stopped the pace of mogenya in the basement of a company. He got down and walked into the building casually and then continued his steps into the elevator to the fifth floor, right where the president's room was.

Shortly after arriving on the floor, the company staff bowed their backs and greeted him respectfully, this certainly looks awkward considering Azzam is just an ordinary person who lives in a small rented.

As the door of the president's room opened, Azzam stepped in and sat down on a sofa. A middle-aged man looked at him coldly while frowning. "What wind brought you here?"

"Wind of peace" Azzam replied lightly as he folded his legs and spread out both hands with his back resting on the head of the sofa.

"Haha... Since when has peace approached you? Isn't your life ruined like you said before?" the man's laughter filled the room.

"That's it, there's no need to mock me. I'm here because I want to make an offer with you." said Azzam who did not want to mince words.

"Offer?" the middle-aged man raised next to his eyebrows.

"I am willing to follow your wishes, I will handle the Global Group branch, but in exchange, you must also obey my will." Azzam said with a sharp look.

"What do you really want?" asked the middle-aged man curiously.

"I want to have my own privacy. Whatever I do, you have no right to interfere, much less about my personal matters. And I ask you, stop setting me up with your friend's son, I have my own choice." stressed Azzam.

"Who? Is that woman worth our family?" asked the man who turned out to be Azzam's father, they did not seem to get along because of the cold war that had occurred, which is why Azzam chose to go from home to find his identity.

"Stop messing around with social strata, not all poor people are as bad as you think." Azzam pressed his jaw, that's what always invites debate between them.

"But-"

"It's okay if you don't agree, I can still apply for a job at another company." Azzam tried to get up but his steps immediately came to a halt as Kurniawan exclaimed.

"Well, I accept this offer, but I have to make sure first if the girl is worthy of being my daughter-in-law?"

"No need, I make sure he's the right choice. You'll never regret getting a daughter-in-law like her, I'll vouch for that myself."

Azzam then continued his steps towards the door and left the room with a satisfied smile. He did not care about Kurniawan, he just wanted to help Alana to escape the suffering she had endured all this time.
