the Cancelled Marriage

"It can't be left alone, Van! I need to talk to both Havivah's parents!" 

"Dad, what if Havivah's parents don't know if her daughter did something inappropriate in public?" salma asked Aaron.

"So from that, let's talk about this in Havivah's house."

"Yes, I'll change my clothes first, I'll clean this glass first!" 

"Yes!" aaron answered, nodding his head.

"Van, you rest first calm your heart and mind," Salma said by gently rubbing Vano's back.

Vano nodded, standing from his seat walking up to the bed and leaning his body there.

After Vano sat on the bed, Salma immediately cleaned up the glass shards. After that he came out of his son's room with a piece of glass and threw it in the trash.

Now Salma approached Aaron who was still in the room.

"Are you ready?" salma asked while taking a change of clothes.

"Hurry and change your clothes!" aaron replied while taking his phone.

"Yes!" 

Salma immediately went inside the bathroom and changed her clothes quickly. Not long after, he came back out in neat clothes. After that he slightly put on his face also tidied his hair.

"Hurry up a little, Mom! It'll be afternoon!" 

"I'm ready, Dad!" 

"Let's go!" bring Aaron.

Salma nodded, then he held Aaron's arm. They both came out of the room.

"Dad!" call Vano from behind, after the two of them reach the living room.

"Yes Vano! What's up?" asked Aaron, looking back.

"I'm coming!" 

"okay! You can come, but you must be able to keep your emotions!" 

"Let's just calm down, I won't put our family to shame!" 

"Now let's go!" bring Aaron.

The three of them left for Havivah's house on a motorcycle.

Arriving at Havivah's house, Aaron knocks on her door.

The door opened and Maya was seen from behind the door.

"Eh, Mr. Aaron and Ms. Salma, come on in," Maya asked so kindly.

"Thank you, Maya. Is his Hamit sir home?" ask Aaron to Maya.

"Sir, sit down first, I'll call him!" 

"Good, Mom!" salma and Aaron replied simultaneously, while Vano just silently listened to them speak.

After the three of them sat down, Maya left them to call Hamit in the room.

Maya opens the door to her room and approaches Hamit, who is sitting on the bed.

"Mas, outside there's Vano and his family who want to see you." 

"Yes, let's go meet them," Hamit asked, while getting out of bed.

The two of them came out of the room stepping towards the living room to meet Vano and his family.

"Sir Aaron, the tumben here didn't tell us?" hamit smiled as he reached the living room.

"Sorry, if we come here don't tell you first, because it's very sudden!"

"What's wrong?" hamit asked while sitting down while Maya went to the kitchen to make drinks for them.

"What does Mr. Aaron mean?" 

"So Vano saw Havivah making out with Sam and asked to break up from Vano, if you don't believe please ask Havivah" Harun said in a serious manner.

Their conversation is interrupted when Maya brings them a drink.

"Please drink Sir, Ma'am, Nak Vano."

"Thank you, Maya!" aaron and Salma replied simultaneously, while Vano just nodded.

"Mom, get Havivah here!" hamit's orders.

"Good, Mas!" 

Maya goes back inside to call Havivah and shortly after, she comes out along with her daughter.

"Did you call me?" 

"Yes, sit!" hamit's orders.

"Good, Dad!" havivah answered while sitting next to Maya.

"Hav, were you really having fun with, Sam?" 

Havivah did not answer him and simply nodded her head.

"Why did you do that?" ask Hamit.

"I don't love Mas Vano anymore and now I love Sam!"

"Why did you accept Vano's invitation to get married yesterday if you don't love him anymore?" aaron said with anger.

"Sorry, Om!" 

"You think just by apology everything will be done?" annoyed Aaron.

"Here you go, Mr. Aaron, if indeed my daughter is no longer in love with your son, we will cancel this marriage!" 

"In a few days they will get married and everything is ready, even the invitation has been spread! Now you're gonna cancel everything! Where will this face be put if the wedding is off?" Aaron was so emotional hearing Hamit's words.

"You think I'm not ashamed? I'm also ashamed sir, but marriage can't be forced, because if forced all will be destroyed and their households will fall apart! You take it easy I will replace all the costs that have been incurred," said Hamit lightly.

"Don't be a village chief and you'll do this to us! I will not seek damages for the wedding expenses we have incurred!" 

This time Aaron was completely made emotional and felt humiliated by Havivah's parents.

"Dad, we'd better just go home for free if we talk to them, if he doesn't want to continue this marriage!" 

Vano's heart ached at Havivah's parents' decision. They did not advise his son instead support him to cancel this marriage. He was so angry when his parents were treated like this by the Havivah family.

"Yes, it's useless to talk if they don't want this wedding to happen!" 

Aaron stood up from his seat and stepped out without saying goodbye to Hamit, out of anger and disappointment with their family.

Arriving at the house Vano immediately entered the room with a feeling and a disappointed heart. In an instant, everything was destroyed. The dream of running a happy household with a loved one is gone already.

Salma who was worried about valno came straight to him in the room. He was afraid that his son would go back into a rage after all the wedding plans that were in sight were just destroyed. 

"It's Van, don't be sad. There are still many other women who are better than Havivah. You should forget it!" salma said with a gentle stroking of Vano's head.

"I'm sorry for making our family humiliated like this!" vano hugged Salma.

"You don't have to apologize, we don't blame you at all and now what's happened let it happen."

"But our family will definitely be ashamed, because suddenly this marriage is off, Mom!" 

"Have it, don't think of it to be our business." Salma knew her son was now hurting and heartbroken, having been dumped by a loved one.

Vano was silent but in his heart he hated Havivah and his family for hurting him and his parents.
