LOVE IN THE ARMS OF DUSK

LOVE IN THE ARMS OF DUSK

Nura was ready to wait for Fatih in the garden of the Latusa complex, Fatih did not mention where they were going, so he only wore a simple white casual dress. Not long ago Fatih came with his white vespa. The man, as usual, always smiled.

“Am I taking too long?” Asked Fatih while attaching the helmet to Nura's head, the girl shook her head slowly.

“Not long,” said Nura, Fatih laughed, he always laughed even though there was nothing funny, even though Nura always liked it, Fatih's laughter warmed his heart.

“Come, I'll take you somewhere.”

Fatih climbed onto her vespanya and extended her hand to Nura, her face beaming full of enthusiasm. Nura never refused Fatih's treatment, instead at times like this he liked the small things of Fatih.

“One place it ... to where?” Nura asked right behind Fatih's ears, the man did not reply, only glancing at Nura from his rearview mirror, the white vespa speeding through the crowd in the afternoon.

Fatih drove his vespanya casually, not in such a hurry last time as they went to the beach, they crossed a small hill, through the many tea gardens and pine trees on the right left of the road, the, the atmosphere of the afternoon that was hot, now becomes cooler and fresher.

Vespa stopped in front of a large wooden fence, not too tall but not too short, they went in and parked the vespa inside.

“This is my mother's garden,” said Fatih when he saw Nura did not stop looking around, around them there are many sunflower plants and daisies of various colors.

Fatih's mother loved flowers, to the point of making a private flower garden full of sunflowers and daisies, so Fatih took care of this garden in earnest, as memories of the good times of his father and mother.

“It looks like he really likes yellow.” Nura commented, Fatih laughed softly, took the girl's hand, led her down the path.

“Yes, mom really likes sunflowers, because it was the first flower that dad gave her.” Fatih wanted to pick the flowers that were nearby, but Nura held back.

“What? Wh why? I want to give it to you.”

“It is better to just let the flowers bloom, if you pluck them, the flowers will be useless. The flower will not have seeds to grow again in the future,” explains Nura, Fatih embraces her in a fit of anxiety, inhaling the scent of her maiden shampoo.

“But it will not be in vain if for you,” tease Fatih while carrying Nura keep stepping, “Hei Nura ... In front of others do not talk that much, just in front of me.”

“why? Don't you like it?”

“Yes I don't like, only I can hear your voice more, not someone else. Okay?”

“Oke.”

They stepped hand in hand, until they arrived in front of two mounds of land overgrown with grass, there were two gravestones that read Herry and Sarah Alfandinata.

“Dad, mother, your son come again to visit.” Fatih sat near the tomb and fondly stroked her mother's headstone. Nura sat down near Fatih.

“I came with Nura, she's my future wife.”

Fatih pulled Nura closer, as if in front of them were her father and mother, the man did not show a sad face, instead he looked happy.

“Dad, your mother approved us, didn't she? The day after tomorrow is our wedding day.”

Fatih was silent for quite a while, her hands did not stop stroking the gravestones of her parents. Fatih loved her parents very much, Nura stroked her shoulders gently, giving her calmness.

“Fatih.”

“Hm?”

“Your mother, what kind of person is she?”

“She is a great woman, never wavering at her stance,” Fatih said, her hands touching the wet grasses that had just been watered with water.

“I was a naughty boy, my age was only fourteen years old.” Fatih chuckled, her eyes starting to glaze over.

“I only know playing games in the room, can not go out for days, ignore the mother who told me to eat,” Fatih lowered his head, Nura silently listened to Fatih.

“That night, they went to a family meeting, I was also invited, but that day I was looking to break the highest point in that game.”

“Nothing Fatih, no need to continue.” Nura looked at Fatih's grim face, the man's lips curled downwards, Nura did not like to see him.

“You should know,” said Fatih grasping Nura's hand and bringing it to her own face.

“They died that night in an accident, I .. I was busy playing the game and just found out the next day, my heart was so broken and sorry, I should have come with them," fatih said sadly.

"I shouldn't have ignored them, maybe .. maybe they're alive right now .. and could have met you." Fatih fumbled, her hands shaking, Nura immediately carried the man into her arms, rubbing his back gently.

For the first time Nura saw this fragile Fatih, Fatih who was always seen smiling and laughing, her face was always without burden, but behind that, Fatih desperately wore a mask to cover up her fragility, installing it strong. The burden of the family, the burden of the company not to mention the sneaky people around him, Fatih had gone through various difficult things.

Nura said nothing, he didn't know. It used to be that when he was sad he just hugged his mother tightly, making Nura feel comfortable, but after his mother died Nura did not find who he could hug.

Now he has Fatih.

He hugged Fatih trying to make her feel comfortable. Fatih hugged Nura back, her feelings getting a little better.

“Nura ... when we get married later, you will deal and meet people like your stepmother.”

“I know.”

“You will be stuck with me forever.”

“I know.”

“Maybe someday I will fall poor because of my carelessness,” continued Fatih, reluctant to take off their embrace. Nura leaned his head on Fatih's shoulder, whispering into the man's ear.

“I know Fatih, we will face him together,” said Nura, Fatih took off Nura's embrace, chuckling.

“Iya, we'll deal with it together.” Fatih clasped Nura's hand, not intending to let go at all, bringing it to her face.

“Thank you, Nura.” Nura was just silent, confused as to what to answer, allowing Fatih to take effect as she pleased.

“Because of you, I've set my life goals.” Fatih touched Nura's face, she remembered their first meeting, in a Japanese restaurant, her eyes could not escape staring at the unblinking Nura staring at the food.

They were both the same, both wanted to be used as stepping stones, they were not really wanted, seeing all the suffering of Nura, Fatih felt his heart being knocked and wanted to protect him, wanting to make Nura within his reach.

“It's almost dusk.” Fatih took off her hand at Nura, patting her girl's head slowly.

“Let's go home.”

Nura stood up, without waiting for Fatih, he clasped back the man's hand, Fatih just smiled, said nothing, he just felt, the pieces of his heart slowly began to fuse, he was not happy, forming a heart that always thumped on Nura.

He will not let go of Nura.
