I've Finally Found You

I've Finally Found You
Remembrance

After forty-five minutes of flight, the three of them arrived at Minangkabau Airport. Cousin Mutia was ready to bring directly to the city of Padang panjang. A small town that is cool and with high rainfall. Along the way the eyes are pampered with a beautiful stretch of rice fields and mountains.

"Assalamualaikum.." we said as soon as we reached the funeral home. All the families and some neighbors seemed to have been waiting for Mutia's arrival, and without feeling all shed tears as soon as Mutia hugged her mother's body with haru.

Both of her sisters seemed to embrace Mutia and we could only be silent while shaking hands with the Mutia family. Then we sat down and recited a prayer to smooth the journey of Mutia's mother facing the creator.

ddddddrr.....

Helvina reached for her hawaii, "hallo.." she said in a whisper.

"Vin, I want to drop off breakfast that Deket your house Ya" Mahendra's heavy voice over there.

"May but Monday I bring it up"

"How about Monday, hungry today"

"Because today I was at Mutia's house in Padang, her mother died".

Helvina then turned off her cell.

While there Mahendra pensive, as if not believe what Helvina said.

Then he opened his social media and searched Mutia's name there. It turned out to be true, there were some friends who had already expressed condolences. Some from the campus alma mater, some from school friends and coworkers.

Mahendra is fretting between wanting to come there, or maintaining his ego to not get in touch with Mutia anymore. Honestly avoiding Mutia was the hardest thing for him. Because of the age difference between them, Mutia is like a sister, like a friend and a boyfriend to Mahendra.

The flashback

"Hallo son Mahendra, this is his mother Mutia. The mother of Mutia ya, indeed her son is a little stubborn, but believe me his heart is very good, never want to see others difficult because of him"

It happened when on one Sunday afternoon, when they spent time at the boarding house.Mama Mutia called. Somehow Mahendra seized his hape and wanted to talk to the future in-laws.

"Aahhhh shiiiii****I've promised to take care of him to his mother" Mahendra hit his car driver.

The next flight is at 12pm, and the funeral is scheduled at 13:00 WIB after Friday prayers. While waiting for Mahendra busy calling the office to inform him that he did not come, then he contacted Helvina to send Mutia home address because this was his first experience to West Sumatra.

While the guest's funeral home is getting crowded, "maybe Mutia's parents are influential people here huh" Resty whispered to Helvina.

Guests to meet the yard as big as a football field this foot. Mutia's house consists of two floors, with dozens of sturdy pillar pillars supporting. The area is not known how many hectares because Resty and Helvina have not surrounded it. It's just that seen from the outside, of course who has this house is not just anyone. Somehow they never asked what Mutia's parents' job was all along.

Mutia was in the spotlight because it turns out that in western Sumatra, the lineage is matrilinial or maternal lineage. The mourners were concerned that Mutia was not married and her parents had died.

Mutia unceasingly wiped her tears, while holding her mother's hand. There was regret on his face. She looked stiff for a moment but Five minutes later tears flooded her cheeks.

"iko yang namonyo Mutia, the youngest son of Bu haji nur Yo"

"Iyo ibuk" Mutia returned the embrace of her mother's friend

"the hajj mother loved Bana ka situ well, caliak la in a nyo bag graduation photo Mutia sajo nan nyo baok taruih. sabanta - sabanta Inyo caliak Inyo kiss" explained the mother again.

*Ib**u you love very much with you, until in his bag there is only a photo of your graduation that he sees every minute and he kisses*

Hearing that Mutia grew sobbing, as did the mourners. They overshadowed Mutia's sadness, because they had not succeeded in bringing the future husband to his mother. Even to this day her mother's last day in the world.

Then Mutia went into the room and looked for the bag in question, impatiently she opened all the old bags, photos of Mutia with toga and kebaya as well as some photos with the extended family seemed to meet the bag of Nur hajj mother light mutia mother.

Helvina and Resty embraced Mutia, remembering to be patient with God's decree, for all men would face Him. It's just time not to know when and where.

And forever something in this world, is but a memory of the good - the good in his lifetime.
