Chapter 2 Never look back

"Bella. I don't want to make him think of my problems, "he mumbled softly.

Risa closed her eyes and exhaled her coarse breath. Slowly he opened his eyes.

When he opened his eyes, he was surprised to see someone he did not want to see. After a long time looking at each other he turned his face away. Although they had met before, Risa was reluctant to talk to him unless there was no other choice.

Risa always sniffled when talking to the men who were currently staring at her, instead of not being able to move on she was just lazy to meet him after what happened between them, maybe Risa still harbors heartache in the man.

Suddenly his mind floated on the incident a few years ago.

The flasback

At that time Risa received news from her parents for the transfer of her father's work duties to the city of Yogyakarta. After he received the news that he wanted to meet only one of the men who several months in a relationship with him, the man he loved so much, Andre.

He immediately approached Andre in his office, although still in college but Andre already held his family company, circumstances that forced him to lead the company since his father died.

Risa has been to her boyfriend's office several times even though their relationship has not gone public aka Backstreet, Andre often brings her to the office. After getting out of the elevator he stepped quickly into his lover's room. Risa squinted her eyes when the door of her lover's room was not closed perfectly. Without knocking on the door he opened the door because it was already open even if only a little.

His hand was already holding the door handle, but his hand stopped when he wanted to open the door, he heard a voice that he was very familiar with. The voice of the person that made him crumble in an instant. He heard clearly the conversation of the two human children.

"It looks like you're really enjoying your role as her lover, are you in love with her" Tomi asked.

The voice that Risa knew was the voice of Tomi her lover's best friend.

"Are you kidding me? there is no love in my life, let alone falling in love, just a waste of time" said Andre.

The next voice was the one he always missed, the voice of his lover Andre. His heart suddenly grieved.

"You've been through a betting period, you remember what you said, in two months you're gonna fuck her, and it's been six months, don't tell me you haven't made it yet" Tomi asked, again urging her best friend.

Yes they did a bet to conquer the woman he is currently dating.

His hands trembled, his heart ached like a butcher knife, he wanted to leave the place but his feet could not turn around, he was still glued behind the door.

Suddenly there was a hand that opened the door wide.

"Miss please come in" said the female secretary he used to meet telling him to come in and kindly opened the door.

Risa heard the secretary's voice but she ignored it, her gaze fixed on the handsome man sitting in the room, the man she loved, she looked up at, who was currently incising such a deep wound. Both of his eyes had already condensed but he held back with all his might so that the tears would not fall.

Their gazes met ever since the door opened perfectly. At first Andre was surprised to see the woman who became his girlfriend standing in front of the door of his room, judging by the look on his face he could make sure his lover heard all the talk with Tomi his best friend.

Adre was still in his seat. Their gazes were still the same, the next second Risa turned her gaze then turned around, trying to strengthen her legs to step up. Andre was still staring at her until the woman was nowhere to be seen again.

"May you be lucky bro, solve your problems" Tomi's advice dawned on Andre's daydreams. Tomi left Andre's room, giving his best friend time to solve the problem he made.

Risa went into the restaurant that was not far from the company she had just visited, she needed to calm herself down first.

He chose a deeper seat so that no one would disturb him. He ordered cold milk to calm himself usually it always works.

Suddenly someone sat in front of him, the man he expected to be right in front of him. Risa looked at him waiting for the man to make a sound. Yet for nearly ten minutes they were just staring at each other.

Risa took the glass containing cold milk and drank it until it ran out.

"Is there anything you want to say? " he asked Andre who is still his lover.

"Nothing, you've heard it all" he replied quickly.

"Then what are you here for? " he said hard. He was upset by Andre's words.

"Just want to make sure you're okay, I'll take you home "

"Thank you, I can go home by myself, please go!"

Andre was silent, he did not respond to the woman's speech before him.

Risa let out a long sigh before taking out her lackeys. "This is why you hid our relationship" asked Risa staring intently at her lover, but there was no answer from the mouth that always issued the sweet words.

"Is our relationship meaningless to you? Was there nothing you felt as long as we were together, was I the only one who loved you?" asked Risa again, but the same Andre is still loyal to his silence, whether lost where his voice.

Risa closed her eyes, she had to stay strong in front of the man. "If starting has to dare to end it, we have already started it and we also have to end it, let's BREAK UP!" he said despite the weight, Risa had no other choice to keep her pride.

"Alright, " replied Andre calmly.

Although Risa who said the word Breakup but it still hurts to hear her lover agreed. And now they're two former lovers. Ironically, his love story is only a bet.

"I have a request? " he said back.

"Say! you want compensation, how much? " ask Andre with his flat face.

"What do you think I'm such a woman," asked Risa even though she was a little matre did Andre not see her sincerity all this time her mind. He laughed in his heart, the man he adored was trash.

Risa smiled sweetly before saying. "Whatever happens do not ever look back, however our relationship in the future, do not ever remember our security, I consider our togetherness just play."
