CHAPTER 48

"where is she??? edgar asked Han as he entered the not-so-large room.

"he was in the master's basement Han replied as he walked into a room and opened a door on the floor.

they walked down the stairs and walked down the hallway and stopped in a small room with a dim chandelier and a handsome man sitting on a chair with his hands and feet bound.

Edgar approached the man he gripped the chin of a man who was none other than Mark. they used to be good friends.but after Alexa's death their friendship turned into hostility. Mark was always looking for a way to destroy Edgar, but never succeeded and was never countered by Edgar considering he was a friend who was so close to him.

"i've already said.don't you ever nudge the girl.but you seem to assume the wind of warning that I give.

"sadly.I will never make you live happily with another woman after you destroy Alexa's life.

"i've always been silent and unreturned when you've always tried to destroy me and even kill me. That doesn't mean I'm afraid of you...Edgar patted Mark on the cheek with a cold look.

"for Alexa's problems, I also love her as much as my own sister.I never touched or hurt her. Mark could only silently look at Edgar with a look of hatred.

"have you been looking for all the information why Alexa got pregnant and killed herself??? ask Edgar again...

"don't tell me you didn't look for the information but already concluded that I got Alexa pregnant and she killed herself??? Edgar asked again while looking at Mark with a look of disbelief.

"cheek your brain is no better than a loser.

"pray my girl does not die otherwise Han will kill you.you know she is more cruel than me.

"cih I'm not afraid you're killing me. I'll pray he dies soon and I can see you miserable hahaha...Mark laughed widely and was immediately grabbed by the clutches of his neck by Edgar.

"if he dies, I'll torture you until you ask me to kill you...Edgar released the grip of his neck by pushing Mark's body to the ground.

"Han torment him.but don't let him die.Edgar said as he walked away from the room.

Edgar talks to Han and then Han gathers his men.After giving orders to his men Han follows Edgar away to the hospital.

while at the hospital, Jenny looked sad at her pale-ridden nona. she tested herself why she was waiting for her nona. jenny continued to stand while bowing her head.

Edgar enters the zhi'er inpatient room followed by Han behind him.he approaches Zhi'er and kisses his forehead.in his uaspnya zhi'er head slowly.then in turn towards Jenny.

"how's he doing?? ask Edgar flat.

"still the same as before.Jenny replied slowly.

Edgar walked over to the sofa that was available in the room.

"sit down.I want to talk to you.Edgar told jenny.

jenny walked over to the sofa and crossed paths with Edgar.

"how did zhi'er get kidnapped??? you where??? edgar asked in a flat tone but his sharp eyes made his opponent shudder in horror.

"what do you mean?? snapped Edgar.

"last day the lady asked me to take her to your office, so I drove her there.Jenny replied in a slightly irritated tone.

"so he went to my office??? but why didn't I meet her??? ask him to yourself.

# flashback on#

today zhi'er's work is not so much.that color he plans to meet Edgar in his office.on arrival in front of the Edgar company building, zhier asked jenny to go home. zhi'er says he will wait for Edgar to work and will go home with him, although he refuses, but Zhi'er still forces him to finally leave Zhi'er himself into the office. after asking the receptionist and saying that there was an appointment, Zhi'er immediately went up to the 37th floor of the building.Up to the 37th floor there was no one there, Zhi'er walked into a room, and he was not there, it looked like the door was not tightly closed, then zhi'er loosened his head while one of his hands pushed the door handle open wider.he saw Edgar leaning on the chair and closed his eyes.

and how shocked he was to see a tall beautiful woman walking up to Edgar and...

"cup.the woman kissed edgar's lips without permission.zhi'er immediately turned his body and covered his mouth.with a depressed heart zhi'er also passed leaving Edgar's room...but he had not yet gone far a woman called his name.

"Yan Zhi asked the woman in a surprised voice.zhi'er just turned to look at the woman and then left the room and entered the elevator.

after arriving at the lobby zhi'er out of Edgar's company. he wanted to call jenny but he didn't so. he thought it would not interfere with jenny's break. finally yes zhi'er chose to walk to the highway that is not too far from the Edgar company and will intercept a taxi. before long he stood saw a taxi stop in front of him. without thinking long zhi'er entered the taxi and he looked surprised because it turns out that in the taxi there was already a male passenger. zhi'er apologizes and intends to come out but has not had time to come out the man has smothered his mouth with a handkerchief that has been smeared with drugs. zhi'er fainted and upon realizing that he was in an unfamiliar place and his hands and feet were tied.

"where am.gumam Zhi'er.

"are you aware, miss?? ask Mark with a devil smile.

"sorry sir do I know you??? why am I here??? zhi'er was confused.

"no, you don't know me Miss. replied Mark coldly.

"if I don't know you..why did you kidnap me sir??? ask zhi'er again.

Mark approached Zhi'er and gripped his chin.

"the color I want to teach someone a lesson. I want him to feel what it's like to lose a loved one. Mark replied with a sharp look towards zhi'er.

"Al I want to see how quickly you help him...Mark laughed so hard, his voice echoed through the room. Mark stood up from his seat and climbed up and lit the water connected to the pool occupied by the zhi'er.

zhi'er thrashed when he knew the place he occupied little by little had been wet with water.Pelan but surely the water rose up to the stomach and soon zhi'er's chest... zhi'er continued to thrash trying to untie his hand.but to no avail.until the water had drowned him he still did not get away.

shortly afterwards he saw someone plunge into the pool and swim closer to him.zhi'er blinked his eyes.before he closed his eyes faintly he saw Edgar swimming near him. he felt the man shake his body and give an artificial breath.
