the next day I came to Malik corp. at lunchtime because I didn't want to be fired from my current job,I really need this job to finance my grandmother and my life and the salary is also big, it is very difficult to find a job with a big salary like in the sunshine restaurant.
I got to Malik corp's office, I asked the reception desk where Mr. Sean's room was.
"good afternoon, what do you need?" ask the receptionist.
"i want to meet Mr. Sean" replied Lana.
"have you made an appointment with Sean?"
"yet, but I was sent here by Mr. Sean."
"with whom?"
"i am Alana princess mbak."
"well, wait a minute, Lana, I'll ask the secretary to Sean first."
"yes." I replied while observing around me
the receptionist called Mr. Sean's secretary, Bram, after an answer from Mr. Sean's secretary. Lana is sent to the 30th floor to meet Sean.
"take Lana, please go to the 30th floor there is already Mr.Bram waiting for you to take you to the room Mr. Sean."
"yes, thank you, ma'am." said Lana with a smile.
"yes to Lana."
I got into the elevator and pressed 30 to get to Sean's master's floor.
after arriving at the 30th floor I just came out of the elevator door already there Mr.Bram who was waiting for me in front of the elevator door.
"good afternoon Miss Lana, there's been a wait for Mr. Sean in her room."
"good afternoon, too, Mr. Bram."
I followed Bram who was named in front of me to the largest room on the 30th floor.bram knocked on the door and entered after hearing the answer from inside the room.
"come in Miss Lana."
"yes, thank you Mr. Bram."
Bram just nodded and left me alone with Sean.
"good afternoon, Sean!"
"Hmm. Please sit Miss Lana."
I also sat at the soup in Mr. Sean's room.
"i called you here to make a request, because you don't want to be fired from the resto so help me and you won't be fired from the resto."
"what kind of help does Mr Sean want from me?"
"help me be my pretend lover in front of my family."
"but I don't want to lie to anyone else." replied Lana while holding both of her hands that shook from fear of master Sean.
"if you don't want to, you just wait for your dismissal letter as soon as possible."
Lana was silent for a while thinking which one she should choose.
"how did you answer?" sean asked, breaking Lana's mind.
okay, I'm gonna be a lover pretending "master, but until when do I have to be a lover pretending master?"
"5 months, after that you are free from this covenant" replied Sean
I paused for a moment to take a deep breath to relax my mind.
"only 5 months Alana, it must be over quickly for grandma's sake I should be able to get through this." I said inwardly.
"oh yeah, maybe we'll get engaged in the near future because the parents must be forcing us to get engaged" Sean replied with a casual face.
"engaged too, isn't it just being a feigned lover?"
"this engagement is also just pretending so you take it easy let me figure out how we'll end this engagement."
"well sir." replied Lana with a sigh.
"then tomorrow afternoon I will clamp you down to attend my family dinner and there you have to behave like a lover in general and when asked since when we became lovers just answer since one month ago, got it?"
"understand sir, if there's nothing to talk about anymore I'll go home because the rest break will be over soon."
"please, and remember tomorrow afternoon dress up but do not overdo it because I do not like women who look excessive."
"well sir, excuse me then." said Lana while bowing briefly to Sean as a sign of respect and left Sean's room.
after closing the door to Sean's room, there was Bram standing by Sean's door and walking me up to the elevator.
after getting out of Sean's office I sighed deeply.
"why do I have to experience this incident, why should I be the pretend lover of Mr. Sean, so hopefully I can pass these 5 months well."Lana prayed in heart.
after that Lana continued her journey to the restaurant to work again and pray that tomorrow afternoon everything went smoothly.
