CHAPTER 36. DISAPPEARS

After completing his bathing ritual, Henderson came out of the bathroom using a towel wrapped around his body.

He wanted to do something to his wife, giving her a surprise. However, Henderson was a little disappointed because he saw his wife had fallen asleep along the dreamland.

"Well, I'm sleeping!"his grunts while restoring his wet hair. A clear grain dripped on the man's temple down to his neck.

Henderson wore a change of clothes that the assistant had given him.

then he sat on the sofa after making sure his appearance looked neat.

"He was asleep, but he hadn't eaten yet." murmured Henderson as he looked at his wife.

To get rid of his satiety, Henderson chose to sit on the balcony. He ordered one bottle of low-scale alcoholic beverage. Just to warm her body.

Henderson smokes the cigarette smoke he was smoking. To forget his time with his late wife Mauren who had gone home earlier.

Apparently, Henderson has not been able to forget his late wife. "Mauren Is this step I'm taking wrong? Did I marry Norin and I betray you?" henderson said as if talking to the figure of Mauren who was no longer there.

Again Henderson smoked a cigarette that he clamped with his two fingers and then exhaled it in any direction.

"I'm sorry Mauren, this step I'm taking is for our daughter's happiness. Not just my mere lust." again Henderson apologized to the late wife.

Henderson leaned his body. Sitting enjoying the breeze of the Night, on the balcony.

While Norin did not know what was really in the mind of the husband, he was still asleep in his dream.

Henderson is also pleased. He knew how tired she was today.

Henderson's body was also very tired. But somehow he felt reluctant to lay his body next to Norin who was asleep.

The clock had already shown at twelve in the evening, Henderson was still late in his solitude sitting on the balcony.

Norin, who felt hungry, finally woke up. Norin looked around the room, He did not find the figure of a man who had been legally her husband.

"Where's Mr Henderson?" he murmured inwardly while directly rising from his bed.

He's looking for the bathroom. But the figure he was looking for he did not find. "Not in the bathroom, nor in this room. Did Mr Henderson leave me alone here, and he chose to go home?" questions after questions arose in Norin's heart.

He sat on the couch. Then grabbed his phone lying on the nightstand. Norin wants to call her husband. But damn, Henderson's number wasn't on his phone screen.

Husband and wife, but not each other save no contact. What kind of relationship is this?

Norin let out a long sigh, staring at the screen of his phone. He is confused as to what he is doing right now. His stomach is rattled, worm worms in his stomach already on a march asking for rations.

"Oh, I'm so hungry" Norin muttered as he held his already very hungry stomach.

"Where is Mr Henderson?

"Why would he leave me here alone? if you know this, I'll never stay here. Otherwise because of papi and mami's request, I wouldn't have wanted to stay here just now." Norin murmured inwardly.

Because his hunger was not restrained anymore, Norin chose to leave the room intending to find food. For Norin has m-banking, otherwise he knows what he will be able to use it to buy food. Norin has no cash at all.

As Norin went out looking for food, Henderson got up from his seat. He went into the room.

Henderson was stunned to see Norin was no longer in the room. Even before Henderson went to the balcony, he made sure that Norin fell asleep on the bed.

"Where is he? it was still sleeping, but why was it suddenly no longer here? is he coming home? nay! there's no way he's going home by himself, if he's coming home by himself there's going to be a 3rd world war at home."Henderson monologues himself while continuing to search for the whereabouts of the wife.

He was worried that Norin's friend, who had taken a heart for his wife, had come to see her. And Norin chose to go with her.

Henderson came out of the room and saw another hotel security officer passing by. Henderson asked the security guard about his wife.

But the security officer said he did not see Norin there. Makes Henderson more worried, fearing something happened to his wife.

Henderson ran into the elevator, intending to find his wife downstairs. Who knows, he might still be chasing his wife. Various possibilities he thinks.

"Could Norin go home?

"Or did Norin go out on his own? or maybe I guess it's true that she went with her boyfriend?"

Henderson got out of the elevator when it opened on the ground floor. Henderson glanced around. But he did not see his wife.

Henderson approached the receptionist there. The receptionist immediately bowed respectfully to Henderson who already knew who the figure of Henderson really is.

"Sir can I help you?"ask him kindly.

"I'm looking for my wife, did you see my wife pass by from here?"ask Henderson full of probes. Security officers who know, if the owner of the hotel Mrs Henderson himself, immediately contacted several other security officers to find the figure of Norin in the vicinity of the hotel.

Not to forget the security officers also directly checked the CCTV footage. Norin is currently in a restaurant on the second floor of the hotel.

The security guards at the hotel breathed. They were worried, something happened to Norin the rightful wife of the hotel owner.

The security officer immediately informed Henderson. His wife had just come out of the restaurant with two boxes of food back in the room.

After getting that information, Henderson immediately ran into the elevator to the floor where the room they occupied.

He opened the door in a hurry. The man saw his wife sitting on the sofa. While sipping latte coffee that he bought earlier in the restaurant.

"Where have you been? I was looking for you." said Henderson, standing right in front of the woman.

Norin listened to his head, looking at the man before him with a sharp look.

"Did I not hear wrong? should I have asked the master? Master from anywhere, leave me alone sleeping in this room. If you know this, I won't stay here.

"I'm not going anywhere, I'm just sitting on the balcony enjoying the Night breeze." - Henderson.

Norin rounded his eyes, he felt dumbest Why didn't he look for Henderson on the balcony.

"I'm hungry, I'm looking for you but I didn't see you, because my stomach was so hungry I chose to go out to find food. Yes, for Mister.Must be Mister hungry too, right? you see, I'm sure you haven't eaten either." Norin said, offering Henderson a box of food.

While the other box, he opened it himself and ate it greedily, moreover he was already very hungry.
