Meeting the Enemy

Vivian was awake when she heard the sound of the door opening. He quickly got out of bed slowly because he did not want to disturb Niko's sleep.

"Sorry, sir. I overslept." said Vivian, looking down on Reyhan who suddenly entered her son's room. Then Vivian squeaked out of Niko's room and went back to her room.

Reyhan came home earlier than usual today. So at eight o'clock in the night he went into Niko's room to see his only son. These few months Reyhan was so busy that he did not have time to meet Niko.

The next day, Lady Lisa was having breakfast with Reyhan. While Niko is still not out of the room and Vivian is taking care of it. That's why Niko and Vivian rarely meet Reyhan.

"Rey, do you have time this Sunday to accompany Niko to play in the park ?" ask Miss Lisa.

"Mommy knows you're busy right now. But Niko seems to miss you. It's been a long time since you've taken the time for her." continued Lady Lisa, who saw Reyhan was silent.

"I'll do it, mom." Reyhan replied briefly before he left the dinner table to go to work.

In company.

"Is Tomy also taking part in tomorrow's auction ?" reyhan asked his secretary, Beni.

"Yes, sir and they have already submitted the proposal" Beni replied.

Tomy is the CEO of The Star Company and Serena, Reyhan's ex-wife and now Tomy and Serena are married.

Reyhan hardened his jaw hearing the secretary's words. That means he will meet his rival tomorrow. Reyhan will try hard to rise from his slump and can even defeat Tomy.

The next day at a project auction event by the Boison Group company.

"Ck, look who's here" said Tomy in a mocking tone looking at Reyhan who had just walked into the room being pushed by his secretary, Beni.

"I'm pretty sure Mr. Maxim won't let you handle the billion-dollar project. What can a cripple like you do ?" continued the arrogant man.

"I also thought that Mr. Maxim wouldn't give his project to someone as cunning as you." Reyhan replied calmly then immediately left Tomy who looked angry because he was cheated by his enemy.

A few moments later the auction began. The Boison Group will announce the winner of the shopping center construction project.

Reyhan smiled triumphantly at Tomy as the auction organizers named the Skyland company the winner of the project this time.

Tomy immediately rushed out of the room with a feeling of anger. Not angry because he did not win the tender of the project but angry because he had to lose to Reyhan.

"Why are you in such a hurry to leave ? though I just wanted to invite you to drink together to celebrate my success in winning the tender today" Reyhan said in a mocking tone to Tomy.

Tomy clucked in annoyance at the ridicule of his enemy. He decided to leave Reyhan, who was laughing. Tomy couldn't bear it if the disabled man beat and mocked her.

"This is just the beginning of Tomy and I'll make sure you get a reply for what you did to me first" Reyhan said as he stared at Tomy's increasingly distant back.

Meanwhile at home, Vivian is currently accompanying Niko to study.

"Mommy, where's Oma ?" ask Niko.

"Oma's out, baby. What's up ?" answer Vivian.

"Niko wanted to ask Oma for permission to go to the park" Niko said as she continued to color the picture of the plane.

"Later mommy please tell Daddy yes." continued Niko again who made Vivian surprised.

"Em, why didn't Niko tell daddy directly ?" vivian asked confusedly thinking about Niko's request.

"The Daddy came home once a night when Niko was asleep. So Niko didn't have time to meet daddy and say it." said Niko looking sad.

Vivian was sad to see Niko sad. Then Vivian took the little body of her foster child into her arms.

"Darling, daddy's doing a lot of work. If the daddy's work is not much else, surely daddy will accompany Niko to the park" said Vivian gently to comfort Niko so as not to feel sad anymore.

"Mommy, can mommy give Niko a sister ?"

Vivian was wide-eyed at Niko's request this time.
