A girl was sitting in the halls on the edge of her Sawdust. The girl stared at the yellowed expanse of rice fields that were ready to be harvested. Her hair was flying in the wind that afternoon.
His height is quite ideal, with a posture that is as tall as a model, his skin is smooth white although often exposed to sunlight if he is in his Sawah. Many do not expect that Alisha is just a real Village girl. His daily work is only in Sawah.
The girl who only about a year ago finished her education in High School. Although his achievements are not included in the category of students who excel, but enough to be taken into account by his teachers while still in school.
Alisha sometimes represents her school to participate in sports subjects competitions and always get a One or Two level champion District, District even once a champion 2 level Province.
The girl was named Alisha Adinda Naufal, a 19-year-old girl. At first, his grandmother wanted to study at a famous University, but Alisha was self-aware and did not want to make her Grandmother more difficult, what else for their daily needs they have slammed bones working in the fields and also the fields.
"Do I have to accept an offer from Auntie Dad? but if I accept who will accompany Grandma, let alone be old," he murmured.
On his face was very clearly visible doubt and anxiety that enveloped his heart and mind.
"I can't possibly continue to have to rely on my grandmother's compassion, let alone my grandmother's work and income every day, only decreases, maybe the best way and the solution is to just accept the offer from Auntie," her inner self Alisha.
Birds fly that occasionally perch on the solid plants while pecking the yellowed rice is no longer ignored.
"Maybe I should just say everything in front of Grandma first and then be able to make a decision and what steps I should take, I also do not want to disappoint Aunt who has come all the way here," he then rose from his seat and did not forget to shake the straps of the special tools used to repel the birds.
Just a step forward, but suddenly stopped again,
his heart was worried and hesitant about whether to follow and fulfill the request of his aunt. Until it sits back in its original place.
Part of his feet he dipped in water which happened to be a fitting irrigation channel near his rice fields that drain water for rice fields that lack water, so that they can grow up to three times a year.
By magrib, though, then Alisha moved from her seat because she remembered that she had not cooked any food for her Grandmother and her cousin's sister who might have returned from her field which happened to be today's harvest of cassava and sweet potatoes.
Alisha hurriedly walked through a few meters of Sawah to get to the front of her house. It turns out that the door to his house has not been opened, meaning that Grandma and her cousin sister have not returned home.
Alisha rushed to get the keys to her house in her pants pocket and locked the knob and immediately held the doorknob.
"Alhamdulillah time to pray magrib," his great-grandson when he heard the chant of the Adhan reverberated from the Toa Mosque around his Village.
Alisha immediately rushed to the bathroom behind her house, to immediately take a bath and take ablution water.
Alisha performed the Maghrib prayer solemnly and surrendered to Allah SWT and asked Allah for guidance for the problems he faces today.
After carrying out her duties, Alisha rushed towards her kitchen. The kitchen is only three times the size of the entire house, which is walled from bamboo matting and the floor is still covered with soil. While the family room as well as a living room, both rooms have been interlaced from a mixture of cement and sand.
Although life is fairly simple and mediocre, but Alisha never demanded and asked more to her Grandmother.
After two types of cooking so then Grandma and her cousin's sister returned from the field. The field that his grandmother worked was owned by someone else, his grandmother only cultivated the field with a share of the produce with the owner of the field.
They also had dinner even though only tempe mendoan and saute kale, but they were very grateful for the food they ate at that time.
After they ate as usual, Alisha cleaned all the utensils and cookware and she washed them clean.
"It's a good time to talk to Grandma about the offer from Aunt Ainun."
Alisha also walked towards the family room, her Grandmother and her sister Aida were watching the soap opera on one of the private television stations that depicted the flying fish. The 24-inch glass screen is still black and white, but the picture from the TV is still very clear.
"Grandmother, Alisha wants to talk to Grandma" she said, playing the edge of her shirt by twisting and twisting the tip of her shirt.
"Grandmother, Aunt Ainun called Alisha to help her work at her employer's house, is Alisha allowed to come there?" Alisha asked who was sitting on that teak wood chair.
Her grandmother only saw her grandson's face. Then back sipping coffee that still puffed the smoke with fried bananas and fried cassava as a complement and his Grandma drinking friends at that time.
Alisha stared expectantly and anxiously at her Grandma. Actually from a long time ago, he wanted to go to the Capital of Jakarta, after knowing if his birth mother was still alive and living in the City of Jakarta, Jakarta, from that was also a strong reason to make him interested in receiving requests and offers from his aunt.
Bibi Ainun is a cousin of his father who has worked in Jakarta for almost 12 years. Bibi Ainun works as a Household Assistant in one of the houses in Jakarta.
"If you want to go to work please son, Grandma will not hinder you, Grandma can only pray for the best for Grandma's grandchild" he said while holding Alisha's hand.
"But, what about Grandma, surely grandma would be lonely without Alisha here and who would masakin for Grandma later if Alisha left,"
he said Alisha accompanied by tears that had been stuck at the end of her eye pelup finally fell as well.
"No need to worry about it all, go God willing Grandma will be fine" said her Grandmother who persuaded her granddaughter, then wiped her tears Alisha who had flooded her face.
They hugged each other and expressed sadness because they were going to separate. Alisha will also follow in her Aunt's footsteps to work in the big Capital of Jakarta.
