18 And 19

18 And 19
Two Strangers

Tanu who had been unconscious for a few days finally opened his eyes. His eyes were uncomfortable and unfamiliar with the light he had just seen. Tanu closed his eyes for a moment to calm his eyes.

He opened his eyes again after getting used to it only then sat down. Afternoon. That was what Tanu felt from this warmth.

The girl saw her clothes were different, she was not surprised. Tanu also touched the wound on his chest. There is no pain. He then peeked, only Tanu could be shocked. There was not even a trace visible there as if he had never been injured.

After being surprised Tanu finally realized something. He exhaled a weak breath as well looking disappointed.

"So I'm really dead?" Tanu asked himself to protest but what was the point of it all.

Slowly Tanu's face turned frustrated. He then hugged himself frustratedly really wanting to protest. The girl then cried, it was a pity that she had to die at a young age when many dreams she wanted to make happen. The most shameful thing is that he died in a land of people and the reason for his death is very simple, to be made a sacrifice on a dead tree.

As Tanu wept for his fate, someone who heard the sound of Tanu's crying opened the door and entered . Tanu is shocked by the appearance of a stranger. Instantly Tanu stopped crying as if he did not want to be known to be crying.

A tall handsome man was holding a wooden stick. Once saw Tanu knew the man in front of him was blind. Seeing the blind man in front of him, Tanu suddenly forgets the young death accident he experienced. He became confused himself when he saw the man.

"I died as a single person. Is that why I was given the soul mate of a blind man in this afterlife?" Mumbled Tanu alone.

Tanu immediately stood up. He approached the man. Look at it more carefully.

"It's really not my carateri" Tanu said, taking her own shock while measuring the man's height. "Your face can cover up all the flaws" raced Tanu. "Also can't show off to whom, we're both dead" said Tanu, who began to accept his death.

Nev who stood still listened to every sentence spoken by Tanu. He understood the conclusion of what Tanu was believing.

Tanu grabbed the man's hand and pulled him to sit on the edge of the mat-lined wooden bed. The man even kept up, he had not said anything yet but Tanu had indeed made many conclusions of his own.

"I Tanu. Your name? Then how did you die?" Tanu asked her

"I'm not dead yet and you're not dead" said the man in a flat tone answering Tanu's question.

Tanu was silent for a moment staring at the man nearby. He then smiled broadly which looked strange and odd. "Cold like characters in dramas and novels" Tanu said.

The man took a breath of remaining patient with Tanu's behavior

"I know it's not easy to accept death. I don't want to die either, but how else" said Tanu, who deeply regrets his death.

When he recalled the Sage, he felt quite an emotion.

The man who was more silent finally decided to leave. He stood up and went out without leaving any words.

Tanu looked confused looking at the stranger who had just come out. He had met some quiet and talkative people, but there was nothing like this foreign man.

Tanu then remembered Sage again. Angrily he cursed the person inwardly as his foot kicked the wall.

From outside Nev turned briefly to the hut from the commotion. Tannu who was sitting in pain blew the tips of his right toe that hurt.

"I feel pain" Tanu said with a suddenly serious face and a little wonder.

He started thinking about it again. The dead who feel pain are the ones who are tortured.

Tanu hurriedly stood up and ran after Nev no matter which leg still felt pain. Without warning as soon as Nev was overtaken, Tanu immediately pinched the man's waist without warning. The man was not only shocked but also in pain.

"What are you doing!?" He asked in a slightly high tone.

"You feel pain too?" Tanya Tanu was serious. "The world of death that feels pain is only hell. But this is not like hell," muttered Tani who had not finished with her death drama.

"Am I incarnating?" The girl muttered again between shock and awe.

She then looked at her clothes which were already different from the clothes she had worn before.

Tanu was silent before Nev who obviously could not see Tanu. "How do you know about that guy!?" Tanu Tanya was a little nervous, worried that she would still be made into a collision.

"Nothing I don't know about everything that's going on in Aro? You're still in Aro. Not in hell or in heaven" said Nev telling the truth.

It takes time to digest it. Think about it slowly.

"But my wound!?"

Suddenly the man in front of him took out a knife that he had hidden under his cloak and he always carried it everywhere. With the knife Nev hurt himself. Tanu was a little surprised to see blood falling. But in just a short time something like a strange powder appeared that healed the wound on the man's hand until there was not the slightest trace.

"It's easy" Nev said, showing Tanu his wound-healing hand.

Tanu's eyes rounded in surprise but he also did not refuse to believe that Nev could do it.

"You helped me?" Tanu asked in a slightly soft tone from his previous speech.

"Take it that way" he said.

Tanu wanted to thank her but she remembered her changed clothes. With hesitation Tanu looked at the man. He saw a blind man with a strange mind. Tanu felt embarrassed taking one step back while hugging himself.

"If you're the one who helped me, you're the one who changed my clothes?" Tanu asked who was already scared by the answer he was about to hear.

This man may not see himself naked, but to take off his clothes this man must have felt his body. Tanu could not imagine how embarrassing he was.

As if he could guess what Tanu was thinking, the man showed another trick. Just one move, Tanu's clothes were again swapped with Tanu's own clothes that he wore upon arriving at Aro, clothes that had a small hole from a Sage's blade. Tanu is petrified by Nev's magic.

"I'm giving you a chance to leave now" said Nev who then continued his path with the help of a cane.

Tanu immediately chased after the man. "Thank you for helping me. I wasn't ready to die" Tanu said. "In the world you are awesome." Tanu moved his hand like he was trying to do magic, but nothing happened. Tanu gave up, other than he did not have the ability like the people in this world, the man in front of him would also not see what he was trying to show.

"What's your name?" Ask Tanu.

The man seemed silent for a few seconds. "Nev" he answered later.

"Nev," Tanu repeated the pronunciation while walking slowly near Nev.

The man stopped and made Tanu stop as well. "Why are you following me? If you follow me, people who pick you up from afar will think I kidnapped you" he said.

"You know about that too?" Tanu smiled blandly.

The man did not answer Tanu's question. He said something else. "I'll take you to the border. You can find someone who can drive you or you can follow" said Nev, who returned to walking.

Tanu immediately grabbed Nev's hand stopping him. "Can I come with you?"

"No. I don't like to take what they first took" Nev said, taking Tanu's hand off.

"They kidnapped me. They didn't even give me the option to refuse. I assume you kidnapped me from them. Are you up to the heart of letting the person you helped wander aimlessly in a world she doesn't know?" Tanu.

Tanu was sad. "Right, I'm just a stranger here. Even if I face danger there will be no place for help" he said.

Nev didn't talk right away. He closed his eyes and opened his eyes again. He saw Tanu's face in front of him very clearly.

He closed his eyes again. When he opened his eyes again, his vision had already turned black again.

This man's attitude is still the same. There was not much information that could be gleaned from his eyes, expressions or hidden movements of his body.
